Chapter 12 Go home
He strangles her, and no one can stop him.
“A-ack-. I w-will te-te-tell the-the truth.”
She struggled, and Kier let her.
The maid cried in front of me.
“I came to your r-room and… and stripped him. He's taking s-shower and grabbing that change when you saw us. He's dressed up, and there you caught us.” She can't look at me and tries to be careful with every word she says because Kier might strangle her for real. She's too young, and she's been a maid since she was a child. I look at everyone; they are all here; maids are eavesdropping, and even the children stop playing. My hands tremble. We get their attention.
Kier's mom gasps, and Layla pulls her hair.
“You’re slut!” Layla said to the maid.
When I enter our room, Kier is half naked while the water is dripping from his well-built chest, and this woman is fully naked in front of him. I thought they did that thing in our room.
“Wife,” he called my name in a stern tone. I still don't want to believe him.
“Stop crying, daughter,” auntie Lian advised me.
“Maid! You’ve fired,” Mom Kier shouted.
“How dare that be to my son, huh?”
Now, her mother's attention is on the maid, and the maid can’t look up as she feels embarrassed and cries too hard. She's begging me not to fire her.
“I promise, Ma’am, I don't do that again” she kneels, but Layla Pulls her hair.
“No one dares to make my sister cry,” Layla.
I don't want to cry anymore; I can't breathe.
I cry harder as my chest tightens.
“Someone gets water!” Auntie Lian shouted, and She got their attention.
Kier immediately came on me, pushing Auntie Lian a little to get me.
“Wife, breathe” his eyes are full of worry now. A while ago, he was about to kill someone, but now, he doesn't know what to do.
“Here’s a water” Uncle V gave the water, and Auntie Lian got it from her.
“Get her in the room.
“Kier!” Kier’s Mom.
“Sissy, breath,” Layla.
Kier opened the water bottle and wanted me to drink it, but I refused; I couldn’t breathe.
“Drink this,” but I refuse again and gasp to get some air.
“Inhale, exhale” He guided me.
“Relax” he’s trying to be calm, but he doesn't know what to do; he is in mental black right now.
“Fuck” I heard him curser.
“Maid, prepare the room and get the nebulizer,” Kier's Mom.
“C’mon, breathe. Inhale, exhale.”
When he couldn't relax me, he decided to carry me, rashly got into our room, and everyone followed me. He notices that I am trembling.
“Everyone gets out of here!” he roared.
“Sus, that’s drama,” Precious.
Everyone leaves; even Layla wants to stay.
“Inhale,” he guided me again and opened the bottled water.
“C’mon, drink this” I accepted it and drank.
He cursed when someone knocked on the door.
“Sir, the inhaler” he closes his eyes.
“Fuck, I forget!”
Am I going to die? I'm chasing my breath.
“Open the door,” he commands.
As soon as he got the inhaler, he guided me to take it, and my feeling improved.
“I’ll lay you down” he lays me down when I feel better and offers the water again.
“You made me worried,” he murmured, turning the AC to high temperature.

<Third Person>
Kier saw how often he looked at his wife, who had been avoiding him for days. It’s been two days since they got home, and she’s treating him coldly.
It’s morning, and she’s busy preparing her things.
He initiates to accompany her to work, but she doesn't answer him; she’s treating him as if he is just invisible. He clenches his fist while looking at the mug of coffee on the table.
He fired all the maids in the mansion before they decided to go home and ensured the woman would suffer. Her family can’t find any work; he ensures she messes up with the wrong person.
He heard Shielyn leave the house. He messes his hair.
“fuck!” he didn’t do anything, and his concise is clean. Until now, his wife hasn’t talked to him. He must hurt her so well. If that woman didn’t enter their room while he was taking a shower, he and his wife wouldn't be like this.
His phone rang, and the indisposed answered it. It’s his secretary.
“Good Morning. Sir, your meeting with Mr. Luca is about to start,” she informed him. He ended the call without saying anything. He got his coat and decided to go.
It’s too early to have a meeting.
-
Shielyn is getting jealous of her husband.
Her mom has been coming here for almost two days since yesterday. She was shocked when she saw her cooking in the kitchen; now, her attention was only on her husband. She still hasn’t talked about it until now despite several times he attempts.
She still doesn’t want to talk to him; she hurts that time and is upset; even though it's not his fault, he’s still his fault; he let her enter their room.
He gave her flowers, chocolates and a teddy bear. She was about to give in to him, but she changed her mind every time she was hurt that day. She wants to avoid him because he’s giving her different feelings, and she can’t understand herself.
He’s also giving her favorite foods, and of course, she’s eating them, they’re delicious, and it’s her favorite.
"Shielyn, baby," her mom called.
"Where's your husband? “she asked him.
They're in the kitchen, and she prefers dinner; she said she'd come home later and Daddy would help her.
“What time will he get home?" she doesn’t know if she’s still her child or if it's her husband; she keeps asking about him.
Shielyn’s mom suddenly hit her on the arm, and she flinched.
"You!! I'm noticing.”
"You're still not fixing anything.”
Shielyn continued to slice the onion.
She looks at her mom innocently.
"talk to him. Don’t you think I won’t notice that the two of you are not okay" Shielyn's mom said.
"He's poor; I don't think he's eating anymore, and tell him not to concentrate on his work," she said in a soft voice.
"you are his wife. You should take care of him."
Shielyn nodded.
“I didn’t make mistakes choosing him”
"He's hard-working; he's handling our company well."
Her parents decided to merge their company and let Kier handle it for them.
She didn't speak.
“Tell him to rest,” she advises. Kier is a workaholic; everyone knows and is aware of it, he loves his work so much, and she notices how dedicated he is.
“Your husband is too sweet,” her mom giggled and smelled the flowers he gave to her, and she smiled widely. His flowers on her are all over the house—a bunch of flowers.
Shielyn shook her head; her moms acted as if she'd be a teenager.
“You have a bunch of flowers; what else do you want?” she’s pushing her to tell him “you can now build your boutique,” her mom pinches her.
“Your hair is too long” her mom teases her and touches her hair.
It’s late, and until now, he hasn’t come; her mom goes home and cooks dinner for them.
She didn’t wait for him, and she slept early. It’s been a week since they returned to how they used to be, and without her knowing, Kier is damn frustrated about how she’s treating him.
He did everything he could to coax her and always got home early, but today was different.
-
Kier is drinking in his office alone while looking at the city lights over his company.
Kier is in deep thought and doesn't want to go home. He watched Shileyn from a distance and waited for her madness to disappear.
“Hey, potato!"
Kier heard his office door open, and someone came in; he knew that voice well. He didn't turn around and stay in his position. Ugh! Damn! He wants to be alone.
Bryden came into his office late at night and was still in; he didn’t want to go home. He’s ended up wanting to hug her.
“What's with the deep thought? Kindly share with us?” he turns around to see him, and Bryden is not alone; he’s with Jase. He remembered he had canceled their meeting.
"Hey simp," Jase
“What are you doing here, moron? I thought you fled?” he asked Vryden; his friends sat on the sofa, comfortable.
“Tomorrow, don’t excite to shoo me away; you will miss me” Bryden is turning his eyebrow up and down.
“Whatever!” Kier looked at Jase.
"What the fuck, lad?!" Bryden's brow furrowed when he looked at him closely and realized his looks.
"You look shit!" Jase commented
He deep sighs, "what y'all doing here?"
"You, okay? Or you need someone?" Jase is worried
"Damn! Did you take a bath? You look shit, lad," Bryden.
He is not feeling well and wants to kill himself with alcohol. He doesn't look well, and he's been torturing himself.
"Haven't you slept?" Jase is genuine damn concerned about him
"What you all doing here? I'm not in the mood to talk"
"I see, huh? That's why your employees are crying down there, and they're talking about you,” Bryden, nodding his head, amused as if he found an answer to his questions.
It's been two days since his wife treated him coldly, and he's been turning the heat of his head to his employees for almost two damn days! How can he coax her if she's shouting him down so well?
"Man, if you have a love quarrel, better fix it than embarrass your employees," Jase advised Kier.
Jase is truly professional in his work. Bryden laughed at his statement; he doesn’t take things seriously.
“don't torture yourself, dude," Bryden said.
Kier took his wine.
Kier doesn’t know what to do. It's been hell to him.
