Chapter 16 not sure
<Third Person>
“He’s not a cheater.” Layla, defend her cousin,
“And maybe that woman is a business partner. You know the business world; it’s complicated,”
But he’s always on the phone.
My mood lifted a little bit because of their thoughts and advice.
"Thank you," I said wholeheartedly.
We stayed almost an hour catching up with Yanie and hooking up with some boys in the coffee shop.
When we got bored, we roamed.
I didn’t want to go home, and I didn’t want to see Kier. We decided to go home late, and I had no choice but to go home. I am tired too and want to rest.
**
Kier is in the headquarters, and his teammate or other police in high ranks is reporting to him; they badly need to talk to him about their handling of the case. This case is severe and further investigation, especially with his skills.
Yes, he is a policeman and a businessman at the same time. How can he handle it? Well, his company can stand alone without him, and his friends are helping him- Nathan and Jase.
He’s in a high position as a policeman, and everyone is under him.
He’s planning to invest in the black market and resign as chief of the police.
Well, isn't it obvious? He likes guns. He’s starting to invest in weapons; this was his plan long ago, especially since the money on the black market is vast and severe; it helps make him more powerful and wealthy.
He sighed. He thinks about resigning and wants to focus on his business significantly since he’s planning to invest in the black market.
“Sir!”
“Chief!”
When the three men enter the room, they salute him. He just nods his head. Eman gave him a folder.
“Sir, that’s all we found in the hotel, and nothing has been suspicious these past few days.”
He thinks.
“Call. Mr. Shin, for me. He will be in charge of the further investigation, and give this folder to him.”
Kier looks at Yemen.
“Tell Lucious he will be in charge of CCTV and technology,” and he looks at Chezka.
Her face is serious as she keeps calling and updating him about this matter.
“And you,” Chezka stands straight.
“Stop calling me. I only need final results and every hour’s call” Kier gets irritated by her calls. He felt she was running for the position, so she was giving her best.
“As much as possible. I need this next week,” Eman complaint.
“We can't do this just for a week!” Chezka retorted.
Know that this is not an easy job.
“That's why you’re a team,” Kier said and raised his eyebrow.
“next week,” he repeats.
“I need the report for this week,” he clarifies.
“Yes, Sir!” they said in chorus.
His phone rang, and it was his cousin. He raised his eyebrow, but the call ended immediately.
“You can go now,” they saluted him before they left.
He is about to call Layla back, but Jase calls him,
“Where are you, Lad?” Jase's voice is solemn.
“Headquarters,” Kier answered shortly.
“Did you meet Conrad?”
Kier eyebrow creased
“No.”
Jase sighed.
“I talked to him,” Kier started.
Jase knows Kier's plans.
“He wants a talk,” Jase.
“Y is the leader of an organization; he has access to the black market,” he informed Kier.
“that dimwit”
“What Y wants?” Kier asked further and became more serious.
Y wants to have it in return; he's a damn asshole.
“I can’t contact him.”
That asshole!
“He’s not answering my calls,”
Kier informed.
Kier and Jase need Conrad’s help with the black market; they can’t quickly enter the black market and need a background about it and study it seriously.
That’s too dangerous. Money is essential to him. He can’t invest easily in that black market; it’s different and challenging.
Y is the most asshole of all of them; he’s hiding his identity. He became a beast for a reason.
“Lad,” Jase called him.
“Conrad is calling. I’ll just take his call” Jase ended their call to answer the other line.
A long time ago, Conrad invited them to the black market, but they refused. They want to have an everyday life, yeah. It makes you rich, but too risky— but his mind changes, and he becomes interested in it.
He left the headquarters and put his hands on his pocket pants.
While he was walking proudly, he called Layla. His cousin won’t call him without saying anything meaningful; this must be about his wife. His eyes furrowed when she didn’t answer his call. He’s calling her for the third time.
“Why did you take too long to answer my call?!”
“Brother, chill,” Layla nervously said. She's murmuring.
“Why did you call me?” he found his car and went inside.
“Uhm- Ah. Nothing. I just miss you! Brother Kierra,” she cheerfully said. He started the engine and left the place.
“What happened to my wife?” his eyebrow still furrowed. He maneuvered the car.
He told Layla to look after his wife.
“B-brother,” she’s uncertain whether to tell him the truth or not.
“What, Layla!” he is impatient.
“Brother, I’ll call you later!” she is in a hurry.
“Shielyn doesn’t want you to tell me about this, but I'll tell you later! Bye!'' Layla ended the call.
He has tons of paper needed to sign and read proposals.

<Shielyn>
I bit my nails in annoyance, it was past eleven in the evening, and he was still not here! I’m furious right now! I want to punch him! How dare he cheat on me!
I’m about to sleep in my room when I hear his car. He still has plans to go home, huh?
When he saw me, he came on me. He’s about to kiss me when I distance myself. His eyebrow furrowed.
“Why did you just come?” I asked, suspicious.
He didn’t mind my question and threw me a question.
“Why are you still awake? Are you waiting for me?”
I look straight into his eyes. He looks tired, as usual.
He gets near me.
“Don't you give me a kiss?” his face is serious.
My blood boiled again; will he be like this on me after he is in his woman? What am I? His past time? I clenched my pissed.
He came near me and snaked his arm in my waist, and I got shocked and slapped him. He closes his eyes deeply while holding.
He swallowed as if he was restraining himself from getting mad at me.
“What’s your problem again?”
He releases me, and his voice is tired as if he’s tired of fighting with me.
“You didn't answer my question, and this is not the time you usually go home.”
My voice is full of accusations.
“Wife,” he called me in a deep tone.
“I have tons of papers needed to finish” he loosened his tie, and Kier looked exhausted.
”I fix many things,” he explained and sat on the sofa.
“Who’s Chezka!?” I can't stop myself but asking about her. He looks shocked.
“Wife, I don't want another fight, please,” he pleaded,
“You’re OA! I’m just asking who Chezka is! Why are you so defensive?!” I can’t help but raise my voice
“Please, not now. I’m damn tired,” Kier said and took off his coat.
“I’m just asking who Chezka is; why can't you answer me!” he sighed.
That's a simple question why he can't answer me,
“You better sleep. We’ll talk tomorrow,”
Kier stood up and left me. I can't help but cry.
I ran, and when I passed him, I pushed him; I wanted him to know I was mad. I’m just asking who’s that woman, and he keeps changing the subject; that's a simple question. It's fucking easy! Just simple.
He was answering questions while reporting was more complex than my question. He is making the situation difficult.
When the morning came, I started to treat him coldly.
“Wife,” I passed by him when he called me.
He sighed.
He held my hand. I look at him coldly. I raised my eyebrow when he didn't talk.
“What’s with your attitude again?” his eyebrow furrowed.
“Who is Chezka?” I look him straight in the eyes.
“Are you jealous?” his face is serious.
Am I? It caught me off guard.
“N-no!” I stammer
“She’s my coworker,” he is looking straight into my eyes too. I do not believe him.
“Liar! Why is she always calling you? Cheaters won’t admit that they are cheating unless caught in the act!” I said to him what Yanie told me.
“I’m not a cheater.” he defended.
“I’m telling the truth,” he pinched his nose bridge.
“C’mon, we had been fighting for almost a week. Let’s settle this. Don't make another reason for us to fight,” my blood boiled.
“You’re the one who’s always making the reason for us to blame” I blame him.
“I’m sorry, okay,” he held me, but I refused. He forced his hands on my waist.
“Don't be jealous; I’m all yours,” he said huskily.
I pushed him, but he held me harder.
“I’ll kiss you if you continue to struggle,” his voice became more serious.
His phone rang again, and we looked at it; it was on the table.
Chezka’s calling
“Really? Coworker? She’s calling you early in the morning.” My voice is full of anger.
“Damn!” I heard him curse.
I pushed him and was about to slap him when he held my hand.
Kier ended the call and turned off his phone.
“Stop being a brat. I’m getting impatience,” Kier warned me.
So, am I a brat now?
“I hate you!” I ran away from him. He is an asshole. I hate him!

<Third Person>
Kier sighed in frustration. He angrily ended the call and turned off his phone. Chezka is hard-headed, and she won't listen to him. He clearly orders them to stop calling him.
He got upstairs to get his medicine in his drawer. He needs to see his Doctor; this is not a good sign, he must burst at any time, and Kier doesn’t like it. He needs to calm down.
He has a hard time coaxing his wife; she is sensitive as fucks! And for fuck sake, he is not a cheater!
