Chapter 59
About my mother-in-law, I don’t know. I don’t know if she knows that Kier is in the hospital. I haven’t touched my iPhone and don’t have my mother-in-law’s number. About my parents, they disappear. Since I got married, they didn’t care about me. They let Kier take care of me. My parents are probably travelling and having a happy life.
My parents trust Kier so much.
It’s hurt what’s happening to both of us. I feel confused about my feelings toward Kier. The people around us are making the situation worst.
“Don’t cry. Kier hates it whenever you are crying. It isn’t obvious, but he is overprotective of you,” Ethan said and laughed a little, remembering something.
“He will wake up for you,” Ethan assures me again.
He is talkative today; maybe that’s his way of comforting me.
“E-Ethan…” I called his name weakly.
“My tummy hurts,” I cried harder when I couldn’t bear the pain.
Ethan got alarmed.
“W-wait, I’ll see a call doctor!”
“There’s blood,” I feel scared.
Before he could stand to call for a doctor, Ethan looked at my legs, and he got more panic.
“Shit! I’ll bring you to the Doctor!” Etha lifts me.
I hang on his neck so I won’t fall. My hands were shaking, and I cried harder. I feel scared. Kier is lying on the bed, and I’m bleeding. Why is this happening?
If our baby dies, the situation between us might get worsen.
Kier is not on my side. I don’t know what to do; I feel I’ll go crazy at any moment.
I became a good child and person, but why is this happening to me? I didn’t do bad things in my life.

<Third Person>
“Fuck you! I’ll fucking kill one and each of you!” Kier angrily shouted at his friends. His friends are silent while receiving his anger and cuss.
When he woke up, he first asked about his wife.
“Where’s my wife? Don’t you tell me that you hid her from me!” He burst out. Kier veins in his neck popped.
His eyes are burning in anger, and he is clenching his fist. He is glaring at his friends.
“We didn’t mean to” Jase was unable to finish his sentence when Kier shouted at him.
“You fucking mean it!” Kier angrily shouted.
Kier is so mad at his friends. He has idiot friends.
“Kier, calm down,” Ethan said calmly.
“Bring my wife here!” Kier demanded his friends.
“Tan,” Nate called his twin, and he mouthed.
“Where is Shielyn?”
When Nate came back into the hospital, he saw Kier awake. Ethan and Shielyn are missing.
“Your wife left you,” Jase said seriously without minding their anger toward Kier; he’s making him madder.
“What?!” Kier frowned.
“We’re not yet done! I’ll fucking sure that you’ll pay for what you did to our marriage!” Kier glared at his friends; he wanted to kill his friends.
Nate shoved Jase to what he said.
“T-tan,” Nate called his twin again.
“If you don’t have any fucking plan to tell me where she is, I’ll find her by myself!!” Kier shouted and removed his dextrose. Nathan abruptly stops him.
“Ay! Chill, bro. Relax,” Nathan said.
Umiling si Jase at umupo sa sofa.
“She’s on the hospital bed. She bleeds; she is currently resting,” Ethan reveals, making everyone stop.
“What?!” Kier becomes worried.
“Where the fuck is she?!” Kier asked Ethan.
“Kier, calm down. Do you think it helps your situation? Set aside your anger towards us. If you fixed your marriage, they beat the hell out of us until you satisfy. Your wife needs you and your baby. Stop being mad because it won’t help, and change anything. I did my part, and I’ll be accountable for my action,” irritated Ethan advised.
Kier shut his mouth.
“Bring me to her,” Kier demands to his friends.
“Bring me to my wife,” Kier repeated, pressing his words.
“later. You need a rest,” Ethan is concerned.
“Bring me to her, now!” Kier demand.
Ethan brings Kier to Shielyn’s room; he can’t do anything about Kier.
“W-wife,” Kier called when he saw her lying on the bed.
“We will leave you alone,” Ethan bid, and he left with his twin.
The two came back to the room where Jase’s waiting.
“I didn’t tell Kier’s mom about his condition,” Jase said when he saw the twins walking together.
“Yeah, I agree,” Nate seconded and sat on the sofa while Ethan was silent.
“We better have Kier and Shielyn's privacy. If Kier’s mom found out about it, she might make things worst,” Ethan said.
**
<Shielyn>
“Hubby,” I called him when I woke up.
He is the first person I have searched for.
Kier smiled a little and kissed me on my forehead.
“Damn! I was damn worried,” he said worriedly.
I’m teary-eyed when I look at him.
“Shhh. stop crying.”
“I thought you wouldn’t wake up,” I said while crying.
He hugs me tightly.
“I’m sorry, wife,” he replied in a deep voice.
He misses me so much.
He loosens in the hug and looks at me. I miss him so much.
His eyes look tired.
Does he didn’t rest enough?
“Hush, baby.”
He made me lie down and gently stroked my hair.
“I’m sorry. I will not have an abortion. I'm not going to do it, and I want to annoy you," I said like a child and continued to blow my cold, green-coloured nose.
Kier used his shirt to wipe my cold.
"Do not cry," he said in a deep voice, calm and wiping my tears.
"I am here and will not leave you,” he assured me and smiled slightly.
“I’ll fix this mess, okay? Don’t cry.”
His voice is soft and melts my heart. Then he held me gently as if he was afraid that he would harm me.
He kissed me gently on the forehead again.
“You, did you rest well? are you okay? That wound of yours?” I asked one question after another, and there was concern in my voice.
He still looks tired.
“Don’t think of me. I want you to think of yourself and our baby, understand?”
I couldn't do anything but agree with what he said.
**
“I’m sorry.”
We are in my room at the hospital, next to Kier's bed.
His nurse sent him back to his room, but he was stubborn. He didn't want to leave me, and now the nurse just let us share the same room.
The nurse told him to rest and heal his wounds—the amount of medicine given to him and me.
Even though Ken recovered from the accident, he thinks about me more and doesn't let go of me.
I feel too guilty for my actions because of what he is doing to me now.
I feel special.
"If you want to sue me, I'll face it. It's okay, even if I lose my license. I'll be liable for my actions." Ethan said.
They were three friends in front of us.
Jase, who had been frowning and seemed not to be happy. Ethan with a humble and severe face.
Nathan, I don't know what reaction that was.
I also don't understand why Kier's friends are standing before us.
"You were apologizing earlier," I said to Ethan.
Kier holds my right hand, and the other is on my shoulder. Little by little, he also kisses my forehead.
"We faked the DNA test. You're not biological siblings. The sister of Kier already died when she was a kid,” Ethan's vulgar.
“We apologized,” Ethan added thoughtfully.
Out of the three of them, he was the only one I heard who said sorry.
"We didn't mean it. We didn't want everything to get worse," said Nathan.
Kier does not care about his friends anymore; his attention is on me.
"Aren't we siblings?" I asked even though they had already told me the answer.
Nathan nodded at me.
I looked at Jase, who didn't seem to react and seemed forced to stand before us.
"It's my fault. I agreed to the idea of my friends," apologized Ethan; this man is brilliant.
“Me, Jase, Nate, Bry, and Y, we’re sorry about that,” Ethan said.
Who is Y?
My brain is still processing what they said.
"If you still don't believe me. Here's the actual result," Ethan said and handed me a brown envelope.
I took it, and Kier looked at you like it was nothing, and he was only looking at me.
I opened the envelope, and the result was negative.
I was about to speak when Jase spoke.
"Doctor Fuentes will come, and he will check you. They said you didn't attend your two checkups," Jase said seriously while looking at Ken, who was still busy playing with his finger.
Jase has left.
"That man is like my period every day," Nate whispered and chased after Jase, who was leaving the room.
"Please, talk to him," Ethan begged me.
"Huh?" I don't get what he wants to say.
Ethan just looked at Ken, who was silent and ignored them.
"Talk to his Doctor Fuentes, and please convince him to set aside his anger on us," said Ethan.
"I have to go. If you need anything, call me," Ethan said goodbye and left.
I looked at Ken again as if he had his world.
"K-ken," I called him softly.
He closed his eyes and hugged me. After a while, I felt him caress my stomach.
I removed some strands of her hair that blocked her face.
What is going on with this guy?
It's like Ken has his world.
"Ken -" I mentioned his name, but he fell asleep.
He fell asleep quickly.
Maybe it's true that Ethan told me that he has trouble sleeping when he's not with me.
How was he when we didn't get along?
Is he sleeping
Does he scold his employees?
I heard a knock on the door.
I was about to get up to open the door when I noticed that Ken was hugging me with his head resting on my chest. He was sleeping soundly.
I just shouted to let the person outside enter.
A man in a coat entered our room, smiling at me as he approached my place.
"Hi, are you the wife of Mr Saltzman?” He asked me.
I silently nodded to me.
"I'm Doctor Fuentes and your husband's doctor," he introduced himself and shook my hand.
"How is your husband?" He asked me.
I offered him to sit first, and he complied.
"I guess he's okay and just recovering," I respectfully answered the Doctor.
Doctor Fuentes was sitting in the monoblock chair.
I felt lost when he looked at Ken, sleeping soundly while hugging me.
"How is he recently? Are you noticing his sleeping schedule or his mood?” Doc asked again.
Nothing has changed in Ken's mood; he is still always angry and hot-headed.
"N-no way," I answered him uncertainly.
"I see," he answered me.
"Are you aware that he is seeing me, and we're having a session? He did not attend his two sessions with me. And I heard from Mr Jase that he had an accident,” he informed me.
"What session?" I asked because I couldn't catch what he wanted to say.
"I guess your husband hasn't told you he has Bipolar disorder and insomnia. So he gets angry easily because of his illness, and he is currently recovering,"
I don't know what to say to what he said.
Ken doesn't tell me a lot.
"He didn't meet me last week, so I don't know anything about his condition. At our last meeting, he was okay and sleeping well. I notice that he doesn't take medicine like that anymore."
I nodded my head to Doc Fuentes.
"I want you to monitor your husband, and please, Mrs., don't let him get stressed. When he's stressed, he triggers, so if you notice, he gets angry more easily. I also received reports from his friends that this past few weeks, he used up a bottle of medicine, and he has been stressed for two weeks straight,"
I looked at Ken.
He was stressed because of what had happened to both of us.
Why do I feel guilty?
"I will prescribe him his medications again, and my advice is to go on a vacation so he can relax. He looks worn up,” said Doc while looking at Ethan.
During the entire conversation, I only answered "yes" to Doc.
