Chapter 67
<Shielyn>
As the days passed, our relationship became more robust. We don't fight about things as much as possible, and Ken's yelling has also decreased. He became calm. I'm beyond happy for my husband and our marriage.
This day passed quickly. It’s already night here. My husband and I just spent the whole day hugging. Excuse the singles and no love life.
It was late, and he was massaging my feet. I finished drinking the milk he had made for me.
“Tomorrow, I'll go to the company. I’ll need to fix something. Is that okay, wife?”
That's also one of the new ones for him. He was telling and letting me know what he was going to do.
“Hubby, what if,”
“Stop with it. You're going to fight me again," he said rudely and glared at me.
"You think too advanced," I teased him.
“What if we broke up?” I continued what I was supposed to say.
"It won't happen," he dropped his cell phone.
"What if," I said while frowning.
He pulled me close to him as he lay down. I quickly hugged him and smelled him.
"What if a big problem came again? And I challenged you to break up. I said I want to break up.”
I'm asking him just so we can talk about something, and besides, I want to know his thoughts. Because people say my husband is brilliant. Now Ken will prove what people say about him.
"Shut up, your sweet mouth and let's sleep," he said and pinched my nose.
My hubby doesn’t want to answer my question.
He also sleeps with me. He no longer overstays in his mini office. He would go home earlier than sunset. He went home before his employees.
I snorted, and I didn't lie down as he ordered.
He avoids my questions. Grr!
"Hubby! Hurry up! Answer my question," I forced him and pulled his arm.
"No, you're going to fight me again," he said and rolled his eyes at me. I imitated him, and he just smiled at me.
"You're so rude to me," he commented and quickly kissed me.
"If you don't want to answer, then don't! Hmm!”
I removed his hand that was hugging me and turned away from him. Kier's mouth hangs open. He didn't expect what I would do. When he recovered from the shock, I heard him laugh.
He made me face him and hugged me again.
“I won’t let you go, even if you beg for me to divorce you. I’ll kneel in front of you. It’s okay if you stay, even if you don’t want me anymore. I’m selfish and want you in my life until my last breath.”
“Eh, what if you agree."
Why can't he get my question? He is stupid. It is not true what they say to him that he is brilliant—fake news.
“Never in my life will I agree,” his eyes darkened.
"Your kill joy! It’s just what if’s!" I said in annoyance.
He laughed and held my cheek.
"What if you leave me?"
"Will you let me leave you?" I return to his question.
"I won't let you go. What if I wake up one morning and you leave me?"
"Of course, I'll be back!" I answered him.
I can't leave him even if we fight every day. I will never hurt him, and I will never leave him again.
"If you ask for a divorce," he suddenly said, becoming severe.
"If one day you ask me to sign a divorce paper. I won't sign it; I want you to carry my last name. Even if you don't love me anymore, as long as you carry my last name, I'm happy there," he smiled sadly at me.
“I’m selfish, wife,” Ken added.
“Don’t leave me,” he said in fear.
"I will never leave you. I will come back and come back to you. I’ll come back to you no matter what happens. You are my home," I promised him.
He hugged me tighter. I feel that he is afraid that I will leave him.
I won't leave my husband, I promise. No matter what insults they say to him, I will choose to stay by his side.
"Through bad days and good moments. I love you for good and for bad," Ken said while hugging me.
I couldn't hug him because I was having a hard time with the position of both of us.
“I’ll love you even in our worst problems,” Kier added.
He is also becoming sweet.
"Don't leave me, wife."
"I will never leave you, I promise," I said, kissing him.
We sleep in peace.
I woke up early in the morning.
I'm thirsty.
I left the room to drink water. Ken slept soundly and didn't realize I wasn't by his side.
I was about to enter the kitchen when I stopped walking and hid on the wall.
I saw my brother, Nate.
What is Nate doing at our house at this hour?
He didn't notice me because he was in a hurry and was about to leave the house.
I followed him, and my heart beat faster.
The last few days, I noticed that Nate was acting strangely, always at our house even when he didn't need anything.
Even though I was thirsty, I didn't hesitate to return to our room. I am afraid for my son.
I suddenly felt fear.
I don't want to think about Nate because I've known him for a long time, and he's nice to me.
I tried to sleep. I didn't sleep well until the sun came up. What I saw disturbed me.
I saw Nate wearing a black hoodie. That guy doesn't like hoodies. I saw his face because the lights were on in the whole house. We don't turn off the lights, from outside to inside.
“Good morning, wife.”
I didn't realize that Ken was already awake; he kissed me and smiled at me.
“Good morning,” I greeted them and gave him a small smile.
We showered and had breakfast together.
"Can I go to Vane's shop? I want to visit her," I said goodbye to my husband while he was fiddling with his cell phone. He is watching something.
I have nothing to do at home, either. I have no one to talk to and no one to be with except the maids who are with me. I don't want to talk to them either.
“I’ll bring you there. What time are you going home? So I can pick you,”
“I’ll text you,” I answered his question.
"Take care of yourself and our baby, okay?" He reminded me.
I nodded in response.
Just like Kier said, he took me to Vane's shop.
“Take care. Call me if there’s something happens. Eat healthy foods, and drink lots of water. Also, call me if you want to eat anything,” my overacting husband reminded me how many times.
I'm getting irritated. He has many reminders for me. What he says from home to here is just the same.
I nodded again.
"Bye! Take care too!” I said goodbye, kissing his cheek.
I was getting out of the car when he pulled me by the hand and kissed me.
“That’s the proper way to kiss your husband,” Ken said seriously.
I rolled my eyes at him and didn't answer. If I replied to him, the conversation wouldn’t end.
I caught up with Vane, who was opening shops.
“Pregnant!” He greeted me and kissed me on the cheek.
I help my friend sa pagbubukas ng shops niya. It’s lunch time.
“My boyfriend expected me to be a virgin,” Vane started to tell me about her love life.
“He asked me about my body count, and when I answered I had a body count that was more than ten, my boyfriend broke up with me,”
I’m just listening to her.
“He is an asshole! My ex has more than ten body counts, but he is looking for a virgin woman!” Vane hissed.
“Don’t ask for something that you to know to yourself that you’re not capable of that thing,” she added.
By the way, what is the body count?
We talked about what happened in our lives when I heard Kaxheus' voice.
"My baby Kaxhues!" Vane called to the boy when she saw Zeus.
