Chapter 78
“K-kier,” I groan.
I opened my eyes and saw him with his mouth slightly open.
I looked at the clock. It's morning.
I just rested for a while and thought about standing up. I was about to stand when I noticed that he was hugging me.
I tried to break away from his hug, but he woke up and hugged me tighter. He locked me in his arms.
"Hey, it's morning," I patted him lightly.
He groaned and buried his face in my neck.
He looks exhausted.
I sighed. I looked at him and noticed that he was already sleeping.
I tried to remove his hug from me, but he was waking up. I lay still for a few minutes. I feel whether he is asleep or not.
He wakes up when I move.
I tried several times before getting out of his embrace. I put a pillow for him to hug, and he didn't notice that I was no longer by his side.
I went to the child first after I left the room.
I saw Klyd with his nanny. I approached them both.
"Oh, you're such a cutie!" I said and held Klyd's cheek.
" I can't carry you anymore because you're too heavy," I said to the boy, and I picked him up.
Ahhh! He is already heavy.
"Come, let's wake up your dada," I said to the child and giggled.
Because Ken didn't want to get up from bed, he was very sleepy. He also wants me to sleep with him.
The boy laughed as if he knew we would see his father.
He has teeth too.
“Are you happy?” I asked him as he applauded. I also squeezed his cheek.
My son is cute, and I often want to pinch his cheeks.
I let go of the child as soon as we entered the room. I caught up with Kier, who was still fast asleep while hugging the pillow.
"Da-da," the child softly called to him.
My eyes widened at what he said.
"What did you say?" Asked the boy excitedly.
Did I hear right? He's talking!
“Da-da da-da-da,” he repeated.
Someone knocked on the door, and it opened.
"Ma'am, your mother-in-law is here," our housekeeper told me.
I frowned.
What is that girl doing in our house?
"Nanny, please watch over Klyd," I said and left them.
I left the room to see that girl.
So, my good husband is doing nothing to make this woman pay for what she did to my son and me.
"What are you doing here in my house?" I welcomed her with my rudeness when I saw her sitting on the sofa. She even drinks tea.
"Oh, hi," she greeted me with a devilish grin.
I chin up and face her bravely.
She stood up and faced me proudly.
"This is not your house; you have no right to my son's property," she grinned.
I grinned too.
"Really? I know you ’re the only one with no rights because you are not his birth parents. Besides, we are married, so whatever my husband has is mine."
Her grin grew, and she walked over to look at Kier and I's wedding frame.
“I see, and confident, ah. I like your confidence; let's see if you can say that."
She looked at me, her grin still not gone.
"A happy marriage, I see."
"What is a killer person doing here in my house?" I asked her straight.
"Don't be too rude; you might even thank me when I tell you the truth, what you should know."
What is she saying again?
I know she doesn't like me.
I remain my pose; she is doing something again that will destroy Kier and me.
She already knows her son is married to me, but she continues to link Kier with some woman.
"I will believe my husband more than you, manipulator," I bravely answered her.
What right does she have to come to our house and make up a story?
She has no right; she has a thick face for showing in my house. I will never forget what she did to me and what she did to our marriage.
I respected her before because she was Kier's mother, but now? I have no respect for her anymore.
"Who is the manipulator between my son and me? Me or Fiero? Hmm, we are mother and son, eh? Maybe we are both manipulators," she laughed.
She likes crazy.
She approached me.
"You seem happy with my son. Hmm, it looks like you've fallen in love with him too. Fiero knows how to make you fool.”
I was nervous about what she was saying, but I didn't show it to her.
She was badmouthing Fiero to me so that we could fight. I know she doesn't like me, but why does she have to make stories? I don't believe in murderers like her.
I was about to answer her when Fiero came out with his son.
"Nanny, please take Klyd outside first," I heard Kier order his nanny.
"Mom, what are you doing here?" Kier asked his mother nervously.
"Hi, son! I miss you, so I came to visit.”
Susing kissed her daughter's cheek.
"I wanted to say something to your wife; that's why she welcomed me so rudely."
"Mom," Kier threatened his mother.
The two stared at each other, and it was as if they were conversing with their gazes.
Is there anything I should know?
“Hay, I change my mind. I'll say it another day; I'll let her think badly of me for now. So that when I tell her the truth, she will feel guilty for what she is telling me," she said sarcastically and laughed.
"Mom!" Kier said warningly.
"Wife, I'll just talk to my mom," Kier said goodbye to me and took her mother by the arm tightly as she left the living room.
Something is fishy.
I believe in and trust my husband. I promised that I would only believe in my husband.
I look for Klyd to play with him.
Kier's mom looks like she's going crazy.
Kier and his mother talked for a while.
“I thought you were going to put your mother in jail?! We already talked, didn't we?!” I said to Kier when he came inside.
His mother has also left.
“Wife, can you give me enough time,” he begged.
I didn't listen to what he said.
"How many times do we have to fight because of your manipulator, mother?! Look, Kier, have you ever wondered that she is the reason why our son died?! Also, she has no respect for our marriage!" I shouted at him.
Kier sighed and felt his senses.
"If you can't put your mother in jail, I will!"
“Wife, she’s my mother. I can’t bear to see her inside that damn jail!”
“Wow! Wow, ah! The truth came out! You don’t have plans to send your mom to jail! Kier, My goodness!” I feel stressed when I mention his name, “it’s okay to you that our son died, and it’s not okay to send you inside the jail!”
I pointed my fingers at him because of my anger, “I know you are an asshole! If you don’t want to do it, you must tell me! Not that you need to lie! You’re lying to me!” I shouted at him while looking sharply
Klyd cried when I shouted
“Get Klyd out of here,” Kier commands the nanny
He waited for the two to leave before he spoke.
“I don’t want to send my mom inside the jail as the reason; if I did that, she would fucking ruin our marriage! She will tell you stories that are not true. You don’t know my mom. She won’t stop until we don’t separate!” Kier shouted frustrated.
Is he mad? Okay, be angry. Let’s get together.
