Chapter 82

<Third Person>

Jase is inside the house of Kiers. He was the one who had control all over the CCTV camera in the place. He knows what’s happening to the couple.

And, now, today. When Jase saw Shielyn packing her things, he abruptly went to his friend's house.

“Where are you going?” He asked Shielyn when he saw her with her luggage.

Shielyn stops walking and looks at him.

“That’s how easy for you to leave Kier after all the things he did for you? Why are you hurting Kier, huh?” Jase scolded her.

Shielyn wiped her tears.

"Why are you here? Besides, it's not easy for me to leave him. I have to do this for both of us. We are getting sick, and it would be better if we rested. Things are not going well. I will leave him, for him and me,” explained Shielyn; she doesn't owe him any explanation. And what does he care?

Jase sighed and laughed, "for him or yourself?!" He couldn't stop being sarcastic.

Shielyn couldn't speak immediately, “for both of us! Don't you want me to divorce him? Oh, now that I'm leaving him, you should be happy."

“That was before! I warned you to leave the fuck, Kier! But when Kier falls in love with you, when he is in trouble, and when he is hurt, you leave him! I warned you before, but you didn't do it! Now you're going to leave him?!"

"You don't know what's going on! You have no idea what he did to me! Maybe you know, too, eh? You know our marriage is fake! Maybe, you are also one of his allies. You're his friend, so that you may know anything!" Shielyn's angry answer.

"You are fucking selfish! I don't know what Kier likes about you! You are always hurting and giving him headaches. He only made one mistake; you're going to leave him?! Come on, think! Don't think only of yourself! You're not the only one who's hurting the two of you! What do you think of Kier? Huh?! You are slowly crushing him! You don't know what he feels because you only think about yourself! Have you ever thought about the good things he did for you?!”

Why is this man interfering with us? That was the question in Shielyn's mind. She didn't know why Jase had appeared and would blame her for all that had happened. Jase is friends with her fake husband, so the friend will be on Kier’s side, “mistake?! What is about son outside? Isn't that a mistake?! He lied to me twice!” She emphasized.

"Oh, c'mon," Jase grinned, "Kier is doing everything for you! But you can't appreciate it! I don't think you understood him! Do you know your parents stole the company?! And Kier made way for those who adopted you not to go to jail! When he discovered you were adopted, he asked me to find your real family. He found out that your mother has been struggling since the loss of your birth father, so what Kier did was secretly help your real family! He gave her a big and comfortable house and educated your brothers!” Jase's jaw tightened, "and you're the one who wants to leave her?!"

"He should be the one to leave you because of you; his company is collapsing! He has a problem with the company and is not taking care of it! When he needs you, you leave him there. Then you will go with your friend? Shielyn?!”

"Why are you making me look like it's my fault?!" Shielyn couldn't stop herself from shouting at him, "it hurts for me too!" She started crying, "no matter what you say to me, my decisio is finall. We are not married anymore. You're only saying those things because it wasn't you who he cheated on; you weren't the one who made him look like a fool for five years!" She took her luggage.

“Don't leave Kier!” He threatened her when she stepped out of the house, "when you leave him, I will make sure you’ll suffer when you come back."

"I'm not coming back," was the last word Shielyn said before leaving the house and getting into the taxi waiting outside the home.

Sean will leave the country with her, along with his son Kaxheus. She will join his friend to start a new life. She does not belong in this place. She belongs to another country.

She can't heal the place where she was crushed.

It's not wrong to be selfish.

"Sorry, Kier," he whispered and looked at the house for one last time. She will miss home; she will forget everything. It's heavy on her to leave and leave everyone. But she needs herself. They can't start two if one of them isn't whole and if they haven't both healed. They will only hurt each other more if they insist.

On the other side.

Jase just sat down because he couldn't stop her from leaving.

“I’m sorry; I did my best to stop her. I tried to help you, but she’s determined to leave you,” he whispered.

Jase is angry with the girl. Kier did so many beautiful things for that girl. But the only thing it will repay is the crushing of his friend.

KIER enters his house when he finds out that Jase is at his home. He was angry and clenched his fist tightly.

His cousin is in the morgue.

"Kier, calm down!" Nate stopped him.

"Jase! Fuck you! I'll fucking kill you!” Kier shouted as he entered the house when he saw his friend bent over while sitting on the sofa, and he welcomed Jase with a punch.

"Fuck you for what you did to my cousin!" Kier shouted angrily and punched his friend again.

"Motherfucker! Kier, calm down!” Nate stopped and hugged Kier to prevent him from punching Jase.

Jase wiped the side of his lips; he didn't even hit back.

"Fuck you! My cousin died because of you! Layla kill herself because of you! You are the cause of her death! I will never fucking forgive you!” Kier yelled furiously at his friend, and he even pointed at him.

Jase grinned at him, "it's not my fault she's weak-minded. Don't you want me to be close to her? I followed your orders. It's not because she committed suicide that I was the reason. I didn't do anything to her; I didn't kill her. Maybe she has other problems for him to think about taking back her own life?” Jase answered calmly.

Why is it always Jase's fault?

Kier's head got hot at his friend's answer, "fuck you!" he was about to attack him when Nate stopped him, still hugging him.

"Before you kill me with your hands, go after your fake wife. She just left, didn't you see her? She went with her friend. I don't know where she is going," he was still calm.

Kier frowned, "what the fuck do you mean?!" He asked nervously. He broke free from Nate's hug and ran into his and her wife's room. He was depressed when he saw that his wife's clothes were no longer in his closet. Kier left the room crying.

"Lad," Nate called him when he saw him crying.

“What did you say to my wife?!” Kier shouted angrily at Jase, who was just calm in front of him.

“I tried to stop her,” Jase answered him.

Kier is about to run to find his wife, but Jase stops him.

"Don't chase her; she's already gone. It's been an hour since she left."

Kier sat weakly on the tiles while crying. He can no longer explain the pain he feels. Two influential women in his life left him. His wife, whom he loved very much, left him. The only cousin he was close to quitting him. Why is life treating him like this?

“She told me he would not leave me. She promised me!” Kier cried to his friends. That's why every step he took this morning was heavy. His wife is going to leave him. But Kier trusts his wife; belief what she tells him that she will not leave him. He's funny and like a child when he cries. he can't handle the pain anymore.

He hurried home to see his wife; he needed his wife because Layla's death hurt him.

“My condolence to Layla, my brother. Condolence to your heart, my brother.”

Kier just cried, and Jase couldn't help but hug him.

Jase cried as he hugged his brother. The very first time, Jase hugged his brother.

"Brother, I'm here. Even if they all leave you, I will not leave you," he cried.

Kier stopped and looked up, "what did you say?"

“I’m your long lost brother,” with us while crying.

Confusion is written on Kier's handsome face.

Jase took something from his wallet and showed an old picture. Kier, remember that picture.

“You’re my brother? Kier ask.

Jase nodded in answer and hugged his brother. Kier hugs him too.

They both cry in each other's arms.

Jase is so protective of Kier because he is his brother. He found out all that on his own; he was taking the time to say everything here. He had known about that for a long time.

Nate was looking at the two friends who were crying. He couldn't stop himself from crying.
