49. Blossoming Spring Days

Rahul's POV

Nethra was depressed and frustrated with her past life. She pretends outside as strong but she is really weak in heart. Of course! It was a horrible past but I should bring her back. It will take time but now I can just wipe off her tears physically. When will I cure her mental pain?

I gave her fresh juice and made her relax a bit "Are you ok? Nethra. I am sorry for making you to face everything all alone. Will you forgive me? You did nothing wrong Nethra. I will be always with you," I pleaded.

She looked at me without replying.

"Nethra, just think as a bad dream and try to erase everything. I will support you in all means. Come to our home. Don't ignore our family. Everyone is there for you,"

"How can I forget, Rahul? My dreams get messed up. Our family members are good hearted but I feel guilty to face them. My daddy betrayed everyone and still he didn't get changed. I can't come as Manoj's daughter,"

"Then come as my wife. I have no objection," I said immediately without even had a glance at her.

"What?" She opened her eyes widely.

"Why can't we join again?" I said

"Everything is over, Rahul. I shared my past it doesn't mean I want to marry you. I wish to be alone. My child is my world," she said seriously.

"How long you wished to be alone? Definitely, I will give you the time and place for it. You are my world. I will look after you and child very well,"

"Nope! I can't accept it,"

"What is stopping you?" I asked looking into her eyes.

"Lot of thoughts are running in my mind Rahul,"

"Tell me, what is stopping you from me? I want to know that,"

"I had killed Gautham's dad. Then, my health conditions are not good and I was in depression too," she listed.

"Ok Nethra, what will you do if I am in the same situation as you? Will you leave me pointing that I'm a Criminal? or will you leave me if my health condition is poor?" I asked her back.

"No, I won't Rahul," she replied.

"Then, how can you expect me to leave you? Please, Nethra, Come with me. Take your own time," I said

"Ok" she replied in half mind.

"Thanks," I smiled

"Did you forget that I hate hearing compliments from the dearest ones?" she said with smile in her lips.

Thank God! She smiled. How beautiful she is! Always have this smile with you Nethra. I will never allow your sorrows drain you again.

"I am happy after a long, Nethra," I said and held her hand.

Meanwhile, I got a call. It was Rithick.

"Rahul! Is everything okay? How is Nethra?"

"Yup! She is fine. I will take her to home today," I said sarcastically looking at her.

"Happy to hear it, Rahul" he said happily.

" How about you and Neethu?"

"She is killing me with her innocence. Kindly save me Rahul." I heard Neethu's voice there. Nethra gave a

Confused look.

I smiled.

"Rahul, today I called mom after a week. Hopefully, mom suspected our presence here but she didn't talk anything about that. The college management had informed, I guessed so. I don't know how will I convince mom," he said worriedly.

"Don't worry Rithick, I will be there for you. Take Neethu to home. Hopefully, there will be no problem again from Shantra,"

"Ok Rahul. Bye. Take care," he hanged the call.

Nethra with a confused look she asked, "Rahul, I have a new friend named Neethu. She is so caring towards me. She loves me like her own sister. I have contacted her number many times when I was not well but her mobile was switched off. Really, I miss her Rahul," I smiled without replying. She paused for a while, "Between! I was surprised when a talk about a girl with Rithick. Did Rithick has any girl friend?" She asked me surprisingly.

"Yup! He has a friend named Neethu," I said.

"Good to hear," she smiled surprisingly.

She speaks her heart out after years. I was really happy. She had faced worst in her past in alone and I will be together with her forever. I will bring her back.

Neethu's POV

We were in the resort these many days. The days which I have spend with Rithick were the most beautiful moments in my life. He looked at me lovingly and caringly. I was so blessed to have him in my life.

Today, I heard Rithick's converse with his mom. Why was he hiding his presence with his mom? Why can't he tell the truth? Of course, he can't tell. How can he tell that he was staying with me? If she came to know the truth from others. She will be broken and also she will lose the trust that she had with Rithick. I need to talk to Rithick about this.

"Rithick, why didn't you talk to mom properly? Sorry for interrupting in your personal," he gazed at me blankly.

"Neethu, why did you separate us? There are no personal/secrets between us except..." he stopped at once.

"What? Did you hide anything from me?" I asked and he diverted the topic, "Get ready Neethu. We can go to home today,"

"Rithick, don't mistake me. I can't come along with you. I will go to my native today," I said with a bit serious in my voice. He looked at me shockingly.

"Why Neethu? Did I do anything which you don't like? Why can't you come with me?"

"Firstly, convince your mom. Tell her about why we returned from Malaysia in between. You are the only son to your parents. You should be always truthful to them, Rithick. If I come along with you it will not look to be good. So, please understand me Rithick," I said.

He held my hand and moved closed to me. I can feel his breath and unknown fear in his eyes. Why is he behaving insane?

"Rithick, what happened to you? Leave me," I said looking into his eyes.

"How can you leave me alone?" He asked with same seriousness.

"I can Rithick," he loosened the hug.  "Rithick, understand the situation and think about your parents. I am not that much bad person to snatch their son? Don't think about me alone. You have family too," I said seriously.

"You are my family too Neethu. How can you talk this much matured? Really my parents are so lucky to get a daughter in law like you. You care for them more than a daughter. Nowadays, woman's first condition before marriage is to snatch their son from parents in the name of living separately but you are too different from them. I am so happy to get you. Come with me and I will convince my parents," he said cupping my face.

"Nope! I can't come,"

"Why Neethu? Are you hiding anything from me? Your lips are delivering something which your eyes are hiding," he guessed out correctly.

He was facing lot of issues because of me. I really felt pity for him. He is staying outside with me leaving his family. He can't leave me back to college also due to issues. How long he will run for me? He should be happy with his family. After his mom's call, I felt bad. How much she worried about him? His health conditions was also not improved much. How can I forget everything? I am selfish.

"Neethu, tell me?" He shook me.

"I...I need to see...My parents," I stammered.

"Ok Neethu, I will take you to your parents now," he said and I accepted.

"I will come back within a week to take you" he said that brought smile in my lips. I kissed him in his chin immediately and he hugged me.

"Neethu, don't forget to call me. Eat correctly. Don't worry about anything," he said with concern that brought tears in my eyes.

I packed everything and it was the worst moment in my life. I can't leave Rithick but at the same time I can't see Rithick in this situation. He should be happy always. We packed everything and came to Bengaluru airport.

Neethu's POV

We reached Bengaluru airport. Memories flashes my mind often, I remembered the first meet with Rithick in the same airport. At that time, I never thought that I would meet Rithick again in my life. Now, he became my best out of best. Unknown smile occupied my lips. I looked at him. He didn't look at me and at the same time he remained silent.

"Rithick, why are you silent? Did my dumb Rithick is back?" I said sarcastically remembering my golden days where I guessed him as dumb mistakenly.

He smiled at me.

"Talk to me Rithick. Don't worry for anything"

"I didn't expect this gap between us Neethu. I am the most happiest person if you are with me and I can face anything. This is the first time you are going far away from me in distance. Why can't you ask your parents to come here?"

"Rithick, when we stay apart the love between us will increase and we will understand about each other much better. We can feel the strength of our love. Just in a week or next week, I will return back to you Rithick. Don't worry please," I said and he looked at me innocently.

"Yes! you are right but I feel like my world is empty. I can't leave you for two weeks. Within a week I will be back to take you," he promised me. We get into the flight.

I held his hand tightly and laid my head in his shoulder. He kissed in my head. I got up immediately, "Rithick! Are you crazy? This is public,"

He winked. His expression makes me laugh. He kissed me again. One and half hours flew away quickly. We reached Trivandrum airport and from there we reached the home town, Nagercoil. Rithick dropped me safely in my home. I said my hardest bye to him. He looked at me for a while and came close to me. I hugged him and placed a kiss. Hardly, he returned back to his home.

My home

I opened the front gate of my home.

It was a surprise presence to my mom.

"Akka! How are you? Happy to see you after a long," my sister hugged me and got the luggage in my hand.

"I am good Geethu. How about you & parents? You have gained normal weight and looking very beautiful,Geethu"

"We all are fine akka. You are same as usual akka. So cute," she said and we entered into the home.

"Akka! Why did you switched off your mobile. Our parents were worried about you. How was the Malaysia your?" She asked. I saw my mom. My mom hugged me and cried.

"Mom! Don't cry," I cried by seeing my mom's tearful eyes.

"Why didn't you contact us Neethu? For about a week, your mobile is in switched off," mom asked worriedly.

"I lost my mobile, mom. I brought a new Mobile. I tried a lot to contact you due to signal problem, the line is not reachable. I am sorry," I convinced my mom.

"Where is dad? How is he?" I asked.

"Dad is fine and he went to nearby shop as it was holiday today," my sister told.

We together had the lunch. I talked with them for sometime and entered into my room. I laid in the bed and his memories occupied me. I closed my eyes and it takes me to somewhere. I miss him badly. I took the mobile and headset from my bag and tuned on my favorite melody song.

Rahul's POV

Finally, I convinced Nethra. I took her and baby to home. I never expected that this would happen in my life again. My love for her remains the same. She loves me too but didn't show it off. I didn't worry about it. Sometimes, she was very much depressed and felt lonely. She had some unknown fear too. I should take care of her and bring her to normal.

I am sure that my family members will support me and they will be very much happier to see her again.

We reached home.

"How are you, Nethra?" Mom asked and took baby in one hand.

"I am fine aunty. How about you? Sorry for my mistakes," she pleaded.

"You didn't do any mistakes. Don't worry about anything Nethra," they welcomed her whole heartedly.

Riya was at home and she was very happy to see Nethra that can be clearly visible in her eyes. We arranged a room for Nethra but she ignored it. She said that she will stay together with Riya.

I called Rithick in phone. He said that he dropped Neethu in her home and he will return back to home shortly.

"Where is Rithick?" Mom asked me.

"Mom, he will come now. I was with Nethra in mercy home leaving Rithick," I said.

"You forget Rithick anna at the moment you see your queen right?" Riya Kidding me. I smiled at her.

Rithick reached home at evening.

"Rithick! How about you?" I hugged him and very happy to see my loving brother back. He hugged me back and we both shared our converse. I was busy with a work and I went out.

Rithick's POV

As per Neethu's wish, I dropped her in her home. I miss her a lot. The journey was too lengthy and boring without her. Within a week, I will bring her back.

I reached home. I felt happy to see everyone. Rahul, my brother. I miss him badly. I have noticed Nethra's presence too. I felt very much happy for him. My dad was in home and we talked to each other as usual. Everyone inquired me about my health and cared for me except my mom. She didn't even had a glance at me.

"Mom, look at me! How are you?" I asked her but she didn't reply. She stepped towards kitchen and I followed her.

"Please, Talk to me mom. I am sorry. Due to net issue, I couldn't call you," she didn't reply again.

My mom was preparing food. Hopefully, she prepared for me because she knew that her lovable son was in hunger.

She gave me a coffee and my favorite paneer sandwich. I ignored it.

"You can't ignore your favourites. Have the food" she said.

I had the food and my mom was in the kitchen. She knew that I won't eat if she was angry at me.

"Mom!" I called.

She ignored.

"Please,mom. How can be this much rude to your only one cute son?" I said to make my mom smile or look at me but she didn't.

"Only son okay! But who is cute here?" I heard Riya's voice and Everyone laughed except mom. Rahul was also not there for my support. He went out. How will I console my mom?

"Anna! What did you buy for your only one cute sister?" Riya asked me. Mom looked at me seriously.

I was caught red handed. Where is Rahul? We both together can solve any kind of problem but I don't know what Rahul had said to them? My mom was very much serious this time. I could guess that she suspected my presence here. What to do now?

"Rithick, Who is Neethu?" Nethra asked shocking me. Mom starred at me.
