Nathalie is Jealous

Chapter 39

Third Person POV

They all look at Nathalie when she arrives.

"Kenneth! You are here." She runs toward Kenneth and hugs him.

"Don't do it again huh! Mom felt sorry. I'm sorry baby!" Nathalie said while hugging Kenneth.

"Don't cry, Mom. I'm okay!" Kenneth answered smiling.

Then Marie and Sandro reported to Lance.

"All is clear Boss," Sandro said in a serious tone.

Nathalie stands up when he sees Marie.

"Marie, you are here!" Nathalie said smiling.

And Marie doesn't know what to do or answer. She just smiles at her.

"Yeah, but they are going home now. They have many works to do at the office." Lance answered on behalf of Marie.

"Goodbye, Ma'am Nathalie." She said awkwardly and leave with Sandro.

Nathalie nodded and smile at her. And there comes Kevin running towards Lance.

"Uncle Lance!"He shouted happily and hug him.

Lance feels an unexplainable warmth in his heart when Kevin hug him.

"Hello, little kid." Lance greets him and messes up his hair.

Lance was surprised when an unexpected guest arrives.

"Lance!" Katrina is crying and hugs him in surprise.

He is caught off guard and didn't notice her at all. He wanted to pull her away from him but Katrina is crying.

She should be supposed to fly to the other countries? What is she doing in here? Lance asked himself.

"Okay, calm down. What happened?" Lance asked then pull her away from him at last!

But Nathalie's face turns sour when she sees Katrina hugging her only Love! But what else she can do? She is is his Fiancee! She's murmuring to herself.

"Kevin, Kenneth. Let's go to your room to take a bath." She said seriously without smiling.

Then they walked out of the room without looking at Lance with her angry facial expression.

Lance could sense that she was jealous and angry. He felt that he fucked up! But he needs to talk to Katrina.

"It's confidential Lance. I can't talk about it here. But my Dad is already dead!" She said then cry.

Lance was shocked upon hearing what she said. And the silent Anton was also wondering what happened to the both of them that her father was killed.

"What? Who killed him? And why are you here? You're supposed to leave the country." Lance asked her consecutive questions.

"Is it okay to talk about it in here?" Katrina asked. " Since the assassination happen. She can't trust anyone else other than Lance.

She looks at Anton.

Lance took a deep breath.

"Don't worry, he's my right-hand man. My trusted man to be exact. Just say what happened.

She looks around and closes the door.

She could not risk any more. Maybe there's a spy everywhere. That fake bitch is a demon!

"The Snake Queen assassinated us at the plane." She said crying.

Lance is very angry when he heard about it. That Snake should not be trusted at all! She will face his wrath soon...

"But where is my private pilot?" Lance asked but he was hoping that he is not dead.

Henry has a family waiting for him. He just asked a favor from him to be the pilot for Katrina and her Dad.

"I don't know! When we went onto the plane. My fake Doppelganger is already inside, together with her men. We didn't see any pilot at all!" Katrina answered.

Lance immediately dialed Henry's number. And he felt relieved to hear it ringing.

"Yes, Lance what can I do for you?" He asked politely.

Lance feels at ease when he knows that Henry is still alive.

"Where are you? You're supposed to be the pilot of Katrina and her father." Lance asked.

"Oh! I thought the flight was canceled. Someone called me that it is canceled and sent me tickets to Europe for a family vacation. He said that you postpone the flight until next week. I'm sorry Lance. My family and I are already here in Europe. I didn't know!" He explained feeling guilty.

"It's okay Henry. Just enjoy your vacation." Then he ended the call.

"It's good to know that he is safe. But the Dragon Snake Queen is a traitor! Bring her alive in front of me. I will personally kill her!" Lance shouted angrily.

Oh, He forgot that Black Hawk is mourning his wife's death.

"I'm sorry Anton. I will call Sandro for this mission." He apologized.

Katrina smile. She's hoping that the Bitch will be killed this time.

Anton sighed. He should do his mission. He is glad that Lance becomes soft and understanding but for him, it's not good as he is becoming soft and easily forgiven. He needs to be tough and strong as their Leader and King. He should not show any weakness!

"It's okay Boss. This is my responsibility as your right-hand man. No need to say sorry. Remember, don't be too soft. I think you forgot how to be ruthless." Then he stands up and walked out the door.

Lance was surprised at how Anton reminded him. He must admit that he's becoming soft these past few days. He valued life now more than anything else. But he is still in his right mind to do his responsibility as their Leader. It's just that, he suddenly has a weakness now! And that is Nathalie and the twins.

"What happened to him? He should respect you as their Leader!" Katrina said disgustedly. She didn't like the way black hawk acted in front of Lance.

"It's okay, He is just depressed," Lance answered seriously.

Then texted on his phone.

While outside, Nathalie is looking from afar. Her Dad went out but Lance and Katrina are still inside that room!

What business are they talking about? She asked herself angrily. She didn't know why she was acting like that! She felt angry and something inside of her that is about to explode.

She's jealous?

But they are one hour inside that room! Her Dad went out and the two of them is still inside. What are they doing?

Nathalie could not stop herself from overthinking.

She stormed to the kitchen where the twins are eating their snacks. She cut two pieces of cake and pour two glasses of juice. She cannot wait anymore! She wants to go inside and see with her own eyes. What are the two doing in there? Meeting? He can't fool me!

Her mind is chaotic from overthinking and her body is shaking from anger.

"Mom, can you relax for a little bit?" Kenneth asked furrowing his brows.

He can see what his mother is feeling right now but he is still a kid to mingle at the adult's affair.

"What? Just eat your snacks, Kenneth." Then she walked away with the tray of food in her hands.

She's hesitating if she will knock or not! Why knock? It's our home! Then she opens the door widely. And her blood boils when she sees Katrina's hand on Lance.

"Thank you so much, Lance. I'm very sad about my Dad's death. I want justice for him." Katrina said crying.

"Don't worry. Black Hawk is looking for her right now and any moment she will be captured." Lance assured her.

Then they suddenly heard a sound at their back.

"Here's your snack. Care to eat? Or both of you are still busy talking about business!" Nathalie said without smiling.

Lance removes his hand from Katrina and smiles at Nathalie awkwardly.

"Oh, we are done with our business meeting. Thank you for the food." He said hesitantly.

He can see the fire of anger inside Nathalie's eyes.

"Thank you, Nathalie. I will never forget your kindness." Katrina smiled at her sweetly. She's innocent about what is happening around her.

She didn't notice that Nathalie is dying because of jealousy! She is smiling innocently.

"My pleasure," Nathalie answered gritting her teeth but still smiling.

"Oh, Katrina will have her dinner in here. Sandro will pick her up at 8 pm. He got some work to finish." Lance said smiling nervously.

Good! Her day will be ruined for sure. Nathalie murmured into herself.

"Sure, Katrina would you like to relax and take a bath? I can offer you our guest room." Nathalie said kindly but her smile will surely kill you.

"Oh, thank you! You're an angel that God gives me." Katrina stands up and shakes her hand.

And Nathalie is just faking her smile. But Katrina didn't even notice it all!

"You're welcome. Come on, I will bring you to your room upstairs." She answered forcing a smile.

"Sure, I'm dying to take a bath!" Katrina said excitedly.

Nathalie catches Lance looking at her. And she wasn't able to control herself and rolled his eyes at him. Smiling dangerously!

Lance felt nervous about the way Nathalie look at him. It's the first time that he's afraid of a woman. She looks creepy!

AT THE KITCHEN

"Lance, Do you know how to cook right? Then cook for our dinner!" Nathalie said angrily.

"Love, Are you angry with me?" Lance asked her while hugging her back.

But Nathalie pushes him away.

"Don't touch me with that filthy hands of yours!" She said with anger in her voice.

Lance looked at his hand and suddenly remembered that Katrina touched him. He lowers his guard at that time because Katrina's father just died and he doesn't want her to feel uncomfortable with him.

But he's happy the way that his Love is jealous! He needs to coax her.

"I'm sorry Love. It's just that her father just died not a long time ago. And that's all I can say to you as of now." Lance explain.

Nathalie's anger subsides a little. But she's still angry!

"Yeah, Then touching and hugging is included right?" She asked raising her brows.

"Oh, that! Please Love. I'm sorry!" Lance hug her again. He gently kisses her neck while caressing one of her breasts.

Katrina is about to give in when she saw the twins coming in! She pushes Lance immediately away from her.

And Lance was frustrated but he saw the twins are coming toward him happily.

"Uncle Lance! You're cooking for dinner?" Kevin happily asked him.

"Yes, baby," Lance answered smiling.

"Nice apron. Pink suits you!" Kenneth said while holding back his laughter.

Then it's too late for Lance to notice that Nathalie give him a pink apron!

The twins laugh as well as Nathalie. And the kitchen was filled with laughter...

It's the happiest moment for Lance!
