Chapter 65
Third Person POV
Lance is so angry and frustrated looking at Nathalie, dragged by the Snake Queen.
He's useless and can't do anything about their horrible situation.
The twins' safety is his main priority and letting Nathalie out of his sight is the biggest torture of all!
They are surrounded and only waiting for their death.
He will not die in vain! He will protect the twins at all costs.
"Dad, I have some bombs in here but I think it will never be enough to kill all of them," Kenneth said.
Lance took a deep breath. They are still innocent but already witness this cruel world of him!
He can't die!
He will abolish the Mafia World. He knows that it's hard to happen because of his dying situation but he will never surrender.
He will fulfill what he promised to Nathalie.
He must survive!
"Give it to me, it will be useful later. Just hold my hand kids. Kenneth, look for your brother." He reminds him.
"Don't worry Daddy, I will take care of Kevin. But- grandpa is dead!" Kenneth shouted angrily and the Snake Queen's men click their guns aiming to kill them!
"It's time to die Golden Tiger! Hahaha." The leader laughed.
"Daddy!" Kevin shouted and hug Lance's back.
Kenneth is covering and protecting him.
"Don't worry baby, Daddy is here," Lance answered while touching his hair gently.
His other hand is holding a gun ready to kill if someone will come forward to them.
"Sofia, Hide behind my back!" The Devil King said.
"I'm okay Philip but I'm worried about our daughter." She cries.
"Don't worry, as long as I'm alive. They will pay the price! We will get back our daughter." He answered coldly.
He will surely kill the Snake Queen!
He can't die knowing he has a daughter! And his cute innocent grandchildren will not die. He will protect them!
"Men, ready to fire!" the Leader shouted and all their guns pointed at Lance and the Devil King!
But before they can fire their guns all of them were drop dead!
The Leader was surprised by what happened.
"What? Who kill my men?!" He shouted angrily.
All of them are dying without knowing what weapon killed them.
Lance looks around and is always alert if an enemy will attack.
But who could it be? He asked himself.
He only knows one person who kills without using a gun. And it's his cousin!
Darneshia!
She is highly skilled in using poison and her only weapon is her thousands of poisonous needles.
"How come the King is trapped?" Darneshia suddenly appeared out of nowhere laughing.
"I know it's you!" Lance answered happily.
They are saved! But it's not the right time to be happy. Anton died and he needs to save Nathalie!
"Who is she?" Philip asked.
"She's my cousin, It's a surprise that she's here," Lance answered.
"Your boy send me a message to save all of you. Where's Kenneth?" She asked.
"Hello, Tita Darneshia!" Kenneth answered.
"Oh, so cute. And they are twins!" Amazed.
"But before we talk, let's get out in here first. I can hear a ticking bomb." She suggested.
"Come on Kevin, I will carry you." Lance carries Kevin and Kenneth is following at the back.
"We need to hurry guys! Let's run, I can feel the bomb is going to explode! Come on Kenneth, I will carry you!" She offered but Kenneth don't want to be carried.
"No thanks, Tita Darneshia. I can run faster!" And he runs ahead of them.
"That's cool." She's Amazed again.
"Let's go, Sofia, We need to save our daughter," Philip said and hold her wife's hand while running.
They finally went out the gate and the bomb started to explode one by one.
"Damn Snake Queen! She ruined my Hideout!" Philip shouted angrily.
"I'm happy about it Philip! Please stop being a Mafia and we will start a new life." Sofia said sincerely.
"You're right, I've been blinded by rage and revenge these past years that I neglected you. Now, that my daughter is in danger. I think it's my karma." He's blaming himself.
"I didn't expect to hear it from you, Devil King." Lance chime in.
"I didn't expect it either! It's time to save my daughter Golden Tiger." Philip answered seriously.
Lance is very worried and if he could fly to where Nathalie is. He will do that and rescue her.
But the Traitor Snake Queen didn't contact him yet!
"Don't leave me! I'm still here!" Andrew is shouting.
He's running for his life trying to avoid the bomb that explodes from different places.
"It's Uncle Andrew!" Kenneth shouted.
"Damn kid, He is still alive!" Philip shakes his head.
But he's thankful that Andrew is alive. Although he is not his real father. He will tell him later about this.
Andrew reaches the gate and gets out immediately before the whole hideout exploded.
Anton's body is already safe and is inside the car of Darneshia's men.
"Why are you here? I thought that you die?" Andrew asked angrily while pointing his gun at his own Father.
"You're late Andrew." Philip shakes his head.
"Is she the Evil Queen?" Andrew asked.
Lance is not in the mood. His mind is blank thinking of Nathalie and his Lion Shadow Assassins are all gone!
"We should get going, I need to save Nathalie," Lance said seriously and put the twins inside the car.
Philip and Sofia ride with Darneshia while Andrew joins Lance.
"What do you mean? Where's Nathalie?" He look around but didn't see her.
"The Snake Queen kidnapped her, Uncle Andrew," Kenneth answered.
"I miss Mommy!" Kevin said crying.
"Don't cry baby, I will bring back Mommy," Lance answered while caressing Kevin's hair.
"Don't worry Kevin, we will save your Mom," Andrew said.
"You're my real Uncle now, Uncle Andrew. You are our Mom's brother!" Kenneth told him.
"What? What do you mean?" He asks confused.
"The Evil King our grandfather! He is my mom's real Father!" Kenneth answered.
"You're joking haha. How come? And where's Anton?" He asked.
Kenneth's face turns sad when he asks about his grandfather. His mouth won't open to answer.
"He is dead," Lance answered.
"What? I just can't believe this! But I can pick up the pieces of the puzzle. All of this is the Snake Queen's evil scheme!" He said angrily.
They reach the Golden Tiger Hideout and everyone is exhausted.
Sofia takes care of the twins and Anton's funeral while Philip, Lance, and Andrew are planning how to save Nathalie. Darneshia promise to help too.
"Thank you Darneshia, for saving my family," Lance said sincerely.
"Don't bother, you know that you're my favorite cousin." She answered.
"Still, thank you," Lance said, and his phone rang.
The recipient is unknown but he has a gut feeling that it's the Snake Queen!
"Is it you?" He asks seriously.
"Oh, you miss me so much, Lance? I didn't speak but you already guess that it's me haha." The Snake Queen laughs evilly.
Lance wanted to kill her a million times!
"Yes, that's how eager I am to kill you. Where is Nathalie?" He asks.
"Why you're looking for her? You hurt my feelings. Ouch!" The Snake Queen answered.
Lance is gritting his teeth while trying to control his anger.
"I don't have time for your nonsense joke. What do you want?" Lance ask.
"You! You know that it's always you Lance!" The snake queen answered.
Lance is trying to control his rage and temper. He needs to have a clear mind to plan everything.
"Stop joking and tell me what you want!" He shouted angrily.
"Oops, Calm down babe. Nathalie is still alive haha. I only want you to come in here alone! Or else Nathalie will die! I will text you the place and time. See you soon, babe. Hahaha." The Snake Queen laugh out loud before she ended the call.
Lance hold his phone tightly that he wanted to break it! But he can't as he is waiting for the traitor's text.
"Calm down Lance. Let's think of a way to save your wife." Darneshia said.
Lance takes a deep breath. He needs air to breathe. He felt stuffy and couldn't breathe! Nathalie is his air and life!
"Yeah, I'm trying to calm myself since yesterday but I can't!" Lance confess.
He wants to break down and shout. Then kill everyone around him. But he can't do that. He needs to focus on his mission to save the love of his life.
He will get and bring back his wife tomorrow!
"Wait for me, Nathalie..." He whispered.
On the other hand, The Snake Queen is ready for Lance's attack. Everything is set according to her plan.
And Nathalie is worried for Lance and the twins.
"Are you ready to say goodbye to Lance?" The snake queen asked her.
"Don't you dare kill him!" She shouted angrily.
"Why should I? Of course, I will not kill the one I love. I will get him out of your life! Hahaha!" She answered laughing and leave her.
"Don't die, Lance..." Nathalie whispered.
