Teach me how to handle a gun
This past few weeks have been going great, with no problems whatsoever, Sandra has laid low, and for the time being. Alex's warning scared the shit out of her.
Laura was feeling restless, her hormones are not tempering Justice with mercy. She stood from her sitting position on the big bed covered with a red bedspread and began pacing around.
She mistakenly knock down a file that was on the mini drawer beside the bed. She would have kept it back if it didn't have her father's name written in bold letters.
She read the content of the file and her heart shattered into million pieces, she couldn't believe her eyes.
She stomped downstairs with the file, her eyes bloodshot read. When she got to the dining table, she yanked Sandra by her hair "you bitch" she yelled.
Her choice of words surprised everyone sitting at the table, she pushed Sandra causing her to stumble and fall.
"You and that your witch of a mother caused his death, you killed my father." She gave her a deafening slap.
"What are you talking about Laura, stop shouting think of your baby." Sandra tried to calm her down
"Don't act like you care cause I know you don't, how could you? Your whore of a mother killed my father. He was nice to you even though you were not his daughter, he took you in, loved you, and cared for you, he made your mother a partner in his company but you killed him."
"What are you saying Laura, I loved that" Sandra's acting made her even angrier. She slaps her again cutting her lip.
Alex didn't make an effort to stop her, he was watching them like a show.
"You gave him poison, it was a slow poison which was why the autopsy report didn't show it, I thought he was sick." She yelled again which was not good for her baby.
She pulls her by the hair out of the house, Sandra yelps in pain with tears pouring out of her eyes. "Get out of this house, I don't want to see your face, get lost." Alex's bodyguards took her out of the gate and threw her out, the black gates were shut in her face.
"That's enough, you shouldn't stress yourself." The tears she has been holding for a long came pouring like a broken fountain.
"I am tired Alex, I am tired of being used, abused, treated like I am not important and above all, I am tired of being weak." He held her by the waist while she buried her face in his chest.
"Trust me you are not weak, you were able to escape from Mason, and you were able to love me even though I am impossible." He kissed her hair lovingly
"Thank you" he cleaned her tears and she smiled he gave her a light kiss on the lips.
"You planned it didn't you? That file was meant for me to see. When did you investigate my dad?"
"I had that for a long time, I didn't want you to see it but Sandra was too much and I don't like her, we should get you inside and stuff you with some food'' she chuckled
"Finally she is gone, I didn't like her." Kimberly blows out.
She took out her phone and called Mason, she explained her situation and he told her to wait on the main road. "You are going to pay for this Laura, you are going to fucking pay, how dare you humiliate me? You had the guts to send me out of the house but trust me, you are going to pay for it." She dried up her tears and walked away.
"What happened? Why is everything crumbling down? I thought we were in control." Mason asked the moment they got home.
"She found out my mom and I planned and killed her dad," she said it with no remorse "I did that fir my own future, he was going to will everything to that brat. I didn't want his love, I wanted his money so we killed him and took everything but my mom gambled everything away." She explained
"Find a way to fix this, I need Laura, and a day without her is torture." He went to his room
"What do you see in her? She is nothing but a worthless bitch." Sandra muttered to herself.
Meanwhile back in Alex's house. Laura has been bucking him about teaching her how to handle guns.
"It's a no for me, young lady, I don't want you touching a gun, no guns for you.''
"I need to learn how to, I am dating a mafia for fuck sake, you have a lot of enemies."
"I will protect you and quit the swearing, you are with a child I don't want my son cursing'' she laughed instead of being angry at him.
"But what if you are not there?" She asked with a serious face.
"I'll always be there honey plus you've got bodyguards" she frowned
"No I don't and I don't need them, I don't want them following me around."
"It wasn't an offer, they are going to be with you wherever you go unless you don't want to leave this house."
"I'm not a prisoner Alex"
"Who said you are? We've passed that stage and I am doing this for your own safety." He tried to touch her hair but she took a couple of steps back.
"Teach me how to use a gun so I'll be able to protect myself cause I am not letting your lackies follow me around like some child."
"I'm done having this conversation with you" he turn around to leave
"Fuck you Alex " he smiled and muttered
"I would like that but the doctor forbids it as he is still too small." He blew her a kiss and left.
"I am not going to be followed around Alex ever." She muttered to herself and went to the bathroom
