Chapter 29 Welcome To Hell
Increasing darkness made me realize it's time to wake up my fragile Snowflake. I tried, but soon realized that she was still mad at me. She was acting stubborn more than she was, which provoked me to thrust inside her, but she started acting like I wasn’t excited around her. I agreed to her demands, even though I knew she would not let her see the beaches of Miami again this soon, at least. She wanted to see the assurance in my eyes and I showed her. That’s it.
She was pushing me from her all the time, but the need to touch her was more curial for me than her comfort as she was getting scarlet as she was under watch of around twenty armed bodyguards. That brat's jubilant sound disturbed me from watching her. Hell, how can he smile so much and all the time? Marcello, my younger brother. He handles arms business here, and he is very good at it, even at his young age. He got confused when my Snowflake greeted him the way I told her to, but within a fraction realized who taught her that.
His bright smile faded as she introduced her as Elena instead of Aria. She was glaring at me when I was explaining to him she didn’t know about her past nor going to find out. He agreed, and we left to sit in the car. As I wanted, I made her sit beside me, but she didn’t oppose me as I was expecting her to because she must be tired of fighting with me and traveling too sucked a lot of energy from her.
She was constantly gazing outside the window with her dimmed eyes, looking at nothing particularly lost in her trails of thoughts. Why couldn’t she be happy? She is going to live with me, able to see, touch, kiss, fuck whenever she wants? I know what kind of powerful effect I hold on her; she wants to be with me, but her speech and behavior also contradict it. Right now, too, she is caressing my hand over her waist with her finger tip unconsciously, but staring out to ignore me. Why was she resisting me after I felt her raw emotions towards me that night when we merged completely after her soul submission towards me? She believes she is part of me, but for me; she is me.
“Where are we?” she questioned, turning her head in my direction with her gorgeous curiosity filled eyes.
“Why do you want to know?” I re-questioned her instead of answering the previous one. She narrowed her eyes at me, grinding her teeth over each other.
“You never need to know that I'm fragile.” I replied by tracing her cheek with my finger. She slapped away my hand, making a face at me.
“I am not fragile at all.” She scoffed, gazing out of the window again. Bastard Marcello was controlling his laughing.
“Where are we? Mr. Accardo?” She asked, leaning forward as Marcello was seated in the front seat. He turned back, surprised, as she called him formally. I didn’t like it as she always calls me that.
“Oh, you can call me Marc. No need to be formal dear.” He responded in his extra soft tone, earning a glare from the mirror.
“Thank you Marc, you can call me El. Can you tell me where we are?” She asked again, allowing her to call her by her nickname, raising my anger.
“Sorry El, you heard what fratellone (elder brother) said earlier.” He refused to grinning at me from the front mirror. She frowned at him, but suddenly she remembered something and she turned to me.
“I have nothing.” She stated in an accusing tone as I brought her without her consent.
“I have already prepared your room with everything you are going to need before drugging your tea.” I announced, holding her chin in my hand and pulled her gently towards me, holding her gaze and I kissed her lips as she leaned in subconsciously. She pushed me immediately with a loud gasp, glancing at Marc with her crimson face who was driving the car, pressing his lip tightly closed to avoid his guffaw. She sat far from me, glancing at me with her dagger gaze.
She again turned to the window as an excuse to avoid me. We already left the city and headed towards our private estate, which I personally designed for security purposes. We aren’t that long from the mansion as trees got denser. Her face was frowning with passing every second as she realized the thickening of trees leaving the pavement back and entered the raw ground.
“Where are you taking me?” She turned with her pale face. Her breathing was ragged, too.
“Home, darling.” I replied, glancing at her relaxing over the back seat.
“You live in the forest??” she questioned, turning towards me, giving me full attention. She started squirming in seat but I was just enjoying her wonderful reactions.
“Yaa.” I answered causally, but her discomfort increased significantly.
“What??” She was surprised, but the car jerked off the road. I got startled and pulled her tightly holding in my arms but the car got stable instantly. Marc burst into laughter, making me fume in anger.
“What the hell, Marc.” I roared at him, hiding her more in my arms.
“Sorry, sorry, I just lost control hearing her response. We don’t technically live in forest El, look ahead.” He apologized, controlling his laugh.
She peeked out from my embrace, still holding me tightly and She relaxed as the car entered the main gate, crossing the forest area into the front garden of the mansion. She sighed loudly and leaned over my chest, watching the front gate in front of us, and she retreated and sat straight again, clearing her throat.
“Why is your home in such a place?” She questioned, glancing back at the forest.
“Your boss likes secluded areas.” He mocked me for hiding the original reason from her.
“Sorry, for a moment I thought-“ she trailed off her sentence in the middle, which didn’t surprise me at all as I play with fear so, I know on which level the human brain can dysfunction when it gets stressed and scared.
I have already reduced the internal security of heavily armed guards, as she can get uncomfortable around them, but all servants and internal guards are still armed, but their guns and knives are hidden. I have ordered it specially because of her, but all external security is heavily armed. She turned to glance at me when guards retreated from their way after seeing a trail of cars but didn’t ask anything. The question in her eyes was evident to me.
I have constructed this mansion simply to evaluate from the outside. It’s divided into four wings for different purposes. Located at the center of dense forest, which is laced with trained wild animals without any permanent road to intrude in. The inner premises were surrounded by a garden, as my mom loved plants very much, so I let them stay there.
“You have the most beautiful garden I have ever seen.” She commented, looking at the garden with her open mouth. This woman is weird. She didn’t notice the massive mansion, which is an excellent example of architecture, but noticed the surrounding garden. Her face bloomed watching the different varieties of plant in the garden arranged in a definite circular pattern which looks like its radiation outside.
She waved outside, urging me to peep outside the window. Nicole was standing there with my over excited sister Alexandera. We adopted her when she was around fifteen years old and I care about her. She was nearly jumping on her place, as she couldn’t even wait for the car to stop. Why she is holding Nicole’s arm may be because of excitement. Good. She left his arm as soon as the car stopped in front of her. Shit, did someone tell her not to call her Aria?
Elena Davis,
Whenever I look at this man who is sitting beside me relaxed over the seat but still manages to radiate power and authority, I feel like I have to untangle the mess of my heart, which is getting more complex than ever around him. While working for him for almost half of a year, I have already realized that he doesn’t enjoy interacting with people as he hardly meets anyone in the office, but the place he lives in shocked me on another level.
It was a massive mansion but still was surrounded by guards. I figured out that he must be loaded, but this was not even close to my mind. It created a mess as I have seen all accounts of the company while handling work for him and his lifestyle showed far more than my imagination watering the seedling of doubt in my heart. He is hiding something from me, the way he just drugged me, as it was so normal to him. I felt some kind of urgency in his eyes while he walked, picking me up in his arms before I sank into darkness.
He is also not telling me in which city we were and now he lives in a mansion surrounded by dense forest which doesn’t even have pavements for car tracing the correct way. One thing was weird about his security. Why did he need this much heavy security? Is his life in danger again? I turned to look at him and relaxed, watching his calm demeanor. He shouldn’t be this calm if something was wrong.
I turned to appreciate this mansion, as it had an old-fashioned deep brown sloping roof highlighting out from the rest of the cream structure. What I loved the most is, they didn’t have any kind of gate or compound wall for protection, just a mansion surrounded by a beautiful garden stretched up to the perimeter of the forest. Deep green, brown border of the forest was visibly different from the luscious green grass of the garden tracing the radial outward pattern flowers. Making it similar to sunflower making mansion at center and garden as seed pattern.
