Chapter 59: Revealing The Piece of The Heart
My lips were quivering, and I couldn’t comprehend what I should do. The dripping blood from the knife suffocated me as if it was yelling at me I murdered that man. Breathing while my blood drenched hands shook violently.
Arius ran hurriedly over me with his worried face and glanced back at the dead body of Dante. He held my trembling hands and threw the knife away, filling me in his arms tight. My body left the last strength, and I scattered in his embrace. Tears were rolling down my cheeks, yet a word wasn’t daring to break out from me.
He cupped my face and made me look at him. His lips were moving, they were saying something to me, his eyes were roaming all over me. Droplets of tears were sipping from his eyes, and he buried me again in his neck.
I let go of everything that was holding me and wrapped my hands around his neck. The steady heart beats of his were the only thing keeping me alive. He made both of us stand up, and his hand pulled me closer to him. Within a blink of an eye, our legs lifted in the air. The dead body of Dante was lying on the floor unmoving, totally keeping quiet in the thundering atmosphere.
“Look at me.” Arius’s voice pulled me out of my trance and I headed up at him. His concerned face relaxed, as if he found the destination he was searching for a long time.
A rope pulled us into a chopper and he dragged me over his lap, embracing me tight in his powerful arms. He was kissing my head and hairs repetitively, trying to cool down his heightened senses.
“You ok?” I nodded at him, trying my best to suppress the sobs. I lifted my trembling blooded hands to show him. His eyes darkened with worry.
“I took…. hi–s life, I don’t kno—w what.. Happ–ened.”
“He said…. he wan-ted to har—m you…” He held my shivering figure. My hand stabbed his neck instantly, and he said those grave words from him.
“Shuuu, Calm down. Nothing happened. You are safe, my Snowflake.” He was struggling to console me, but my mind had lost control after that incident.
He held my cheeks in his large hands and united our broken pieces of lips. His forced kiss brought the peace in my life, his searching tongue introduced to sooth my soul.
“It’s totally Ok.” He broke the kiss and caressed my hair. The tenderness in his eyes melted my heart, which was filled with panic and sinking morals. He wrapped my hands around his torso and made me lay over his chest listening to the sweet melody which had the power to fade away the noisy world.
He took a gigantic machine gun having an enormous barrel from beside it and aimed down at the section of the warehouse Dante kept at me, and within a sec, it blasted. A few helicopters were flying in the sky and their firing was scaring the sky.
I looked down. Everything was crumbling. That place was engulfed in fire. The rising smoke was flaring in the sky as if it showed Arius’s victory. The gun firing was accompanying the music of terror, and here I was staring at the view clinging over my love with a calmed demeanor. What’s wrong with me? I just murdered a man, and my love still murdering a bunch of them down there, yet our hearts were beating in a calmed sonorous tone. I realized he didn’t forget to tent me at all; he made like him.
Chopper landed on the terrace of the mansion. Alex and her father were waiting for us with their bright smiles.
“Have you enjoyed it?” His father asked, unbuttoning the button of his coat.
“Yes, call the doctor immediately.” Arius dashed inside our room, holding me in his arms. With no delay, he held both of us under the cold streaming shower. No one spoke for a few minutes. He just held me underwater, soaking me with his warmth in that cold shower.
“I am sorry, Snowflake. This won't happen again. I looked up at him. The hurt was poking in his chest. He held my chin, observing the red marks on my cheeks and the bruises around the corner of the lip. I leaned down and kissed his chest a few times until his tensed body relaxed a bit.
“I know. This won’t happen again. I killed him with my hands.” He ended the shower and peeled my drenched clothing slowly, afraid to use too much force. I unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his muscular chest, and dropped it over the wet floor.
He dried my naked body and clothed me in simple pajamas. His eyes were filled with questions, yet his mouth wasn’t daring to speak anything. The doctor was waiting outside our bedroom, along with the remaining family members. Their concerned eyes were locked on me.
“I have a lot of questions for you, Arius.” I squeezed his hand in mine. He nodded and pulled me closer to him again.
“I know, but first checkup.” He picked me up and softly placed over our bed. Doctor entered as he nodded at him. Alex rushed and sat beside me. Doctor did his usual check up and announced nothing was wrong with me, just needed some rest and food packed with nutrition but drew some blood for further checking.
After confirming, I am alright me and Arius found some time for each other.
I was seated on his lap, gazing outside the window. My head rested over my love and my hands were wrapped around me.
“I missed you so much, Love.” His voice trembled for a second before he concealed it.
“I know. You must be terrified.” He planted a kiss on my forehead, hearing my words, but didn’t correct me.
“Dante, tell me, I am Aria.” The pin drop silence resonated in our room. His silence was screaming. Whatever he said was true. His caressing hand froze for a minute a second over my hair, but he continued again.
“You won’t believe what I say. It’s better to remain in the past. It will not change our tied soul or your love for me.” His serene tone calmed my agitated heart, the burn which was blazing from quiet time was extinguished by him. I dragged my lip over his naked chest and took control of his mouth, invading the way I like.
“But it’s important for me. It’s part of me, part of our memories.” Dante’s words felt like he had seen it in front of his eyes. Whatever it is, however painful it is, I wanted to know them. The feeling of incompleteness in the past engulfed me. If it wasn’t Arius who completed me, I would have lost in the emptiness where no sun rises.
“You have seen the painting in the hall, the same you sneak a glance where you pass from the front door.” I nodded, tightening my hold over his waist.
“He is your father, and he named you Aria. The name derived from Arius, my name. Our father used to be best friends. He even promised you to me the moment he found out aunt Laura is pregnant with a girl child.” He chucked.
“Dante Salvotre’s father was lustful to power. Nothing was going wrong with the mafia empire until they were together. He backstabbed uncle Valarious to take his position of second in command but father didn’t believe him, and stood against him.” He took a big pause before he continued.
“Everything was wonderful as a dream. I was gonna see you after five years. You don’t know, how hard is that waiting for me?” I looked into his wet eyes and eagerly kissed me again, pinning me over him.
“You don’t have to now.” His delicate smile bloomed for me, and he nodded. I never thought he had such a deep, unknown connection the moment I saw him in his office.
“We were so close. I used to feed you strawberries, sing your favorite songs for you and a lot more.” He giggled a bit, remembering our old memories. I felt jealous. He knew them, but here I was completely unaware of them.
“Dant and his father betrayed and attacked. That day, the sunset over my soul until I found you again in Miami. I took revenge for killing my mother, brother, aunt and…..” His hold tights, he thought, they killed me too. He had gone through a lot.
“Then, after fifteen years, you entered my life. The day we spend a night with each other in your apartment..”
“The day you kidnapped me.” A laughter rumbled through his chest as I finished the sentence.
“Yaa, the same. I found out you are my Aria, then drought you here.” Everything was resolved in front of my eyes. The unknown knowledge filled my life today.
“Arius-” A knock disturbed our paradise. He turned to look at the door. A maid was standing at the door, holding a tray of food in her hands. I nodded at her, and she left, keeping it over the coffee table beside us as Arius didn’t leave me to get it.
Arius brought a piece of fruit near me, but it's stinking smell jerked me awake. He furrowed his eyebrows as he watched me in surprise, glaring at the cut piece of pineapple.
“You need to eat healthy pizza, not what's happening.” He warned and brought it closer to me again.
“Yuck, Ariusss.” I got up from his lap, it’s disgusting smell was burning my nose and churning my stomach. I stood away from him as he tried to feed me again. An enormous lump of liquid dared to break through me and I ran to the bathroom.
“What’s wrong?” He followed me into the bathroom and held my hair as I vomited. After cleaning myself, I tried to stabilize myself. This happens a few times a week. I need to be aware of what I eat from now on.
“You ok?” he held me closer, worrying while roaming all over.
“Yes, just feeling a little dizzy.” While passing through the door of the bathroom, my gaze landed on a secluded bottle which froze me. Arius turned to me, after demanding the doctor’s presence.
“What’s the date?”
“What??? It’s not important, first sit.” I pulled his arm in desperation.
“Its 23” My breath hitched. How could I forget it?
“Will you speak up?” He shook me a little. His face was pale at my frozen reaction.
“My periods are missed.” He stared at me with an amused face.
“I think I am pregnant.” A beautiful smile formed over his face and he held me up in his arms, twirling around.
“Wow.. WOW… we are pregnant.” I was watching the crazy mafia king smiling madly at me. Tears rolled down my eyes with realization.
“We need to confirm first, Arius.” He cradled me, afraid to squeeze me and put me over the bed.
“We will do it, but I am sure about it already.” He rolled up my stomach and observed it with his tender eyes. I couldn’t move my gaze away from him.
“Welcome.” I laughed as he kissed my stomach and welcomed our child into this world. He spooned me and held me closer.
“Thank you.” He nuzzled his face into my neck, kissing all over the place.
“One done, eleven remaining.” I froze at his words and turned to face him. I was about to scold him but we both startled as the place thundered with gun fires. He jerked up, pulling a gigantic gun from below the bed, and ran towards the window.
I followed him bump folded, but we both relaxed, watching all the guards felt kind of happy. Even his father, Marc, and Nicole were firing in the sky. There was joy, which had no end. His father had a piece of paper in his hand and the doctor was observing their celebration with a pale face. They found out.
We turned around to our bed again and lay in each other’s embrace.
“I want to learn how to use guns and other things.” He agreed instantly.
“Also, let’s take over the entire mafia of the world.” His smile grew longer.
“Glad I tinted you enough to let you forget your divinity and bound you to me for forever.” And he leaned to kiss me.

However you plan your life, and prepare for it if fate had different motives from you, you can’t stop it from happening nor able to reduce the pain but one day, you will realize it brought out the best version of you for greater purpose, and a day will come for you to realize, being with your love is the only thing you know and sacrificing morals and values became the easiest thing to do for love.
