[Rose]

I stare at the resignation I set over the desk. My heart is doubtful if the choice was right. But I didn't budge. I wanted to stay, but I knew it wasn't worth it.

I closed the front door after coming back home. I was early. Because I asked my boss if I needed to hand in my resignation a month before. But surprisingly He only told me to work one more week. I guess it was easy to find a replacement, after all.

They can find assistants any time waiting for their turn. My eyes crease as I turn my door nob and the door opened. I always lock it before heading out.

How could ..?

I walked around the apartment calling for David once but got no response. My mind though I would've forgotten. But my heart picked its pace up.

The first drawer of my vanity was creaked open a few inches. I never do that. I make sure to close them all the way in case a cockroach gets in my room through the windows or something. My hand slowly opened the drawer and I saw my bras and panties all in place.

I didn't suspect anything. I was in a hurry, wasn't I? It must've been me. I bite my lip looking at the clock. I was way early than David. Keeping my bag down on the ground I opened my closet and saw my dresses shuffled. I could feel myself getting paranoid minute by minute.

I gulp grabbing a T-Shirt and pants and going in the shower. I checked everything nook and crane. Nothing was out of order. I fell over my bed thinking how anyone could've got in If I surely know I closed it, I fell asleep. I had to find a new apartment soon. I couldn't live alone. But I had to try.

I cleaned my hands after having some food and heading out the bathroom of the club getting ready for my next dance. It only took five minutes until someone asked for a champagne room with only me.

I didn't like being alone with men like him. Most of the time guys were respectful, but it's just sometimes. Bad things happen.

"Sir. I may have to ask you to stop" I said stepping back after the third time he tried to shove his face on my chest and touched me. He stank.

"Can I have my money please?" I said and he smirked taking out the cash.

"I am sorry beautiful. Won't happen again. Come on. don't be a bummer" I shook my head grabbing the stack of cash and just as I was about to get out he pulled my hair lightly and pushed himself over me.

"Hey! Stop it" I yelled pushing him away. I didn't even have the time to think when the room door slammed open and someone barged in.

"I have to ask you to leave sir" I saw him stare at me as I stood there.

"You don't know who I am? I can get you fired" Only then I noticed who had helped me.

Kaden.

"Okay. Now step out" He said but the man did not budge. Soon he tried to punch the hulk in front of him failing badly and was forced out of the room.

I didn't even get to thank him.

Because I was taken to the backroom by the house mom. After many questions and me assuring her that I could continue working, I stepped out to have a drink with Ava.

I spotted Kaden with his hands folded talking to the manager. As soon as the manager I walked over to him. I was intimidated by this man. I felt not worthy of talking to him for some reason.

"Um, Thanks for helping" He snapped his head towards my direction and stared for a second.

"It's my job, Stay safe," He said walking towards the bar leaving me back.

I had never felt so ignored in my life. Seemed like he hated me. I was just thanking him. I sigh walking to Ava who stared at him and rolled her eyes.

"I hate him" She whispered and I rose my brows.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because He stares at you like he is fantasizing about you in his bed but he never talks to you" I almost spilled my drink.

"Don't be ridiculous Ava" I said, "What? I am not kidding Ask Coby, He is the only guy Kaden talks to. He sees it too" I chuckle shaking my head.

"You guys are idiots" I muttered making her stare at me with a disappointed look.

"Oh you'll know soon," She said hopping off the chair and walking towards the back of the room. She stopped looking at me, "You wanna join us?" I rose my brows in question and she put two-finger up to her lips gesturing smoking, I shook my head.

"Try once at least?" I chuckled. "I'm good thanks," I said.

It was the end of the night and It was snowing heavily. I was searching for a uber when Ava stopped me.

"Stop that, you have a ride." I gave her a questioning look.

"Coby is dropping your home" I sigh nodding and walking out to the door.

Expecting Coby to come out I waited for five minutes, my hands getting cold and I was about to walk back in when Kaden opened the door and walked out," I am dropping you"

I heard my heartbeat from inside somehow. "Uh, Why?" I asked.

He walked ahead and stopped looking back.

"He had some things to do, they might take time" I bite my lips as he walked ahead.

"You don't have to drop me, I can call-" I paused as he looked back.

"It's alright Rose, I can drop you" I stare at his back as he unlocked his car and opened the door for me.

I looked down walking over and getting in.

I watched Rose get in the car and Ava smirked.

"That stupid girl. Does she realize how he barged in that room because he was staring at the camera through the whole thing"

I looked at him.

"He was?" she nodded, "Sometimes when she gets new people he looks through the cameras. Regular customers never do such a thing. He was new. Oh god, It's funny. how she finds him scary" I laughed out loud.

"I can't blame her" I whispered taking my car keys and giving her a goodbye.
