I chug down the glass of whiskey as My eyes stayed over the club as people slowly started moving out, soon I was left there with just the staff and some girls ready to leave.

"You've been drinking, Want me to call a uber for ya?" I shook my head as Ava frowned. "You cool?" I chuckled. "Ya. I'm god. Drive safe" She smiled walking away. I stared at the girls as they laughed in their skimpy dresses. I wanted out. I was frustrated.

I left the club at three in the morning. Driving to another bar. Drowning myself in the glass of whiskey and girls approached me, "hello" I felt a hand over my shoulder and I looked up to a girl smiling down at me. Her body right between my legs. She touched my cheek, I look away.

"I am not interested" She laughed. "Honey, You will die with that much alcohol. Bad day? Come with me" She said but I didn't budge. "Common Coby, I know you probably got a shit ton of stress. But You can't drink like that. Just go and sleep in my room. We are gonna close soon"

It was Veronica

I crashed on the bed pulling myself to lay on my back and put my hands behind my head. My head was heavy. I was spinning. But I wasn't blacked out. I see her staring at me and shaking her head from side to side.

"I am not here to fuck"I said staring at the ceiling. She laughed taking her clothes off right in front of me and heading into the bathroom.

"What's up with you, last time we met you we nicer" I sigh closing my eyes. Lily flashing right before them and I clench my jaw.

Suddenly the bed dipped beside me. I felt hands on my chest but I didn't bother speaking, I was too tired. "Your girl left you or something?" I take her hands off me.

"Shut the fuck up" She chuckled, "Wow, so much for taking care of you when you are drunk," She said getting on top of me, I didn't care. My eyes only looked out the window. AS her naked body leaned in kissing my neck, Down my chest.

Lily..

"Stop," I said and she frowned looking up. "I can't. Just let me sleep" She got off laying beside me. "It was so much fun when we fucked Coby" I closed my eyes and let the sleep consume me.

I heard someone calling my name, And I hummed once before I felt a hand on my shoulder, "Coby, I have to go work. Get up" I opened my eyes to see Veronica. She was in the middle of getting dressed. "What happened," I asked. Not remembering much of last night.

She rolled her eyes and I stare at her going around the room.

"You were too drunk to go back home, So I brought you up here. We didn't have sex if that's what's bothering you" I groan at the painful head that took over my head and I see her setting down a pill and glass of water.

I take it, Still in my sleepy state. "You got a call an hour ago." I sit up. My head in between my hands. And I walked towards the door. "Wow. So much for your ex taking care of you"

"We didn't date Veronica," I said opening the door.

"Ya ya ya. You come here again and expect me to do that again you are wrong"

"Then you could've just left me alone, I didn't ask you to bring me here" She leaned her back on the window and looked at me. Her hands folded.

"You should be careful where you go, especially when you are drunk. " I chuckled. "What? you gonna teach me how I hand myself" She looked out.

"Did you forget you still have people behind you Coby? There were Fredrick's men right behind you last night, Imagine if they saw you?" I stare at her.

I almost forgot I had people behind me, "They might not come at you because the King's have your back but you still under Fredrick's radar" I sigh.

"Thanks" She nodded. "Don't come here after twelve" I stared at the floor before walking out.

I took shower back at my place before leaving for work but I heard my cell phone go off, Myjae clenched.

And I closed my eyes in frustration before picking it up. I guess his men saw me after all.

"What do you want? I thought we were done for good Fred " I said. "Oh no we don't, I need your help. And if you don't do as I say. You might as well be in jail for all the things you have done that I have protected you from"

I sat on the and glanched at her once before turning my head in my cell phone.

She quickly cut some veggies, It was a second later that I got a call from my mate about the race tracks. Somone had reported, and there was possibility the cops would show up tonight or tomorrow. I had to call two of the hosts to call off the events and that we were moving to a new ground soon. I couldn't risk the cops finding out, I had put a lot of my own money in that.

She set the bowl and plate of toasts on the table in front of us. As I hung up and sat in front of her.

"How are you feeling? " I ask as she took my bowl of soup and glance at me once, "I am okay."

"Hey, You- you said You had a place?" I looked at her and nodded. "I do. I can make arrangements. Have it cleaned for you" she stopped me " Um- What's the rent?"

"How much are you willing to give?" she paused for second. "Um-" She gave me a number and I honestly didn't need the money. That place was just sitting there with the bills paid for a while But I knew she might feel uncomfortable if I asked her to not give me anything.

I nodded. "You don't have to give me that much"

"You can give what you find okay, I own it. So, It fine if you give half of what you are paying now" She shook her hands. "Wait? You live there?" He chuckled.

"No, I live five minutes away, in another apartment. I just kept it as a back up" She made an 'oh' face understanding. "When Can I get the keys then? I'll make the initial payment tomorrow"

"You don't have to. At least for the next month. I'll have to clean for you by tomorrow. So you can come in the evening. Is that okay for you?"

"You don't have to send anyone for cleaning. I can do it myself"

"Don't worry about that. You just have to let me know if any lights don't work, I'll have em fixed" she nodded.

"Um- Just give me your info then, I can transfer money" I nodded. " Ya, I'll give it later"
