Chapter 24

Days passed with my life being awfully boring,my friends acting weird like shit,after my little argument with Jace, he's been avoiding me like a plague, anytime he visited Mason,he acted as if I was invisible,I was kind of hurt but I guess it was for the best,I was already in a relationship and if I continued hanging out with Jace,I will end up doing something I might regret.

Olivia,my bestfriend has been acting quite distant up lately,I don't know why,she and Mason are officially a couple,she only talked to me when she needed something,she paid all her attention to her boyfriend.

Let's not talk about my boyfriend and bestfriend,Lucas,out of everybody in my life acting strange, he's the worst,I don't even understand,after that day,I thought he would call later in the day to apologize or sweet talk me but he didn't. Everytime I started a conversation with him on WhatsApp or any social media platforms,he would always say he was busy but when I update my status,he is always the first to view,it was becoming annoying,when he wasn't busy,he would reply with single words__Fine,cool,okay,yeah,....I talked to him about it,he apologized about his sudden behavior but ended doing the same thing.

This relationship game is stressful and confusing

I wish I could be a mind reader so I can read Lucas and Jace's thoughts. The only person who was alittle bit normal was my one and only sister,Maya.

"I can't believe Archie actually did that to Mehek, she's so evil"Maya's face had look of disgust and hatred.

"Here,I thought Sindoora was Zeeworld's greatest villain but I was totally wrong"

I rolled my eyes"Stop overreacting"

"I used to admire people with coloured eyes but Archie's eyes are just....what word should I use to describe hers"She totally ignored my comment.

"Snake-like?"I suggested. "Yes,you are correct"

"Okay, okay, enough with zeeworld talk,get out,I want to study"I ordered,her presence was distracting me.

"Whatever,I'm out"

"Hey,wait"I called her back. "Where's Nero?"I questioned,as I haven't seen him all day.

"Probably in his room with a girl"

"Huh?"

"I heard a feminine voice so he's probably with a girl"

It must be Olivia.

"Yeah,maybe"

I guess I voiced that loud.

Ding Dong

"Someone's at the door,go check"

"I know,I'm going, alright"She rolled her eyes and walked sluggishly out of my room.

My phone showed a sign that it was fully charged,I unplugged it and saw my wallpaper,it was a picture of my bestfriend,Olivia and I. I smiled,my friendship with her has been nothing but amazing and pure joy.

My little happy moment was interrupted when I heard a feminine voice call my name,"Michelle!!"

I stood up immediately in fright,"Yes..."

"How could you do this to me?"Olivia asked,her eyes were already watery.

What's going on?

"I don't understand"

"So you are actually going to play dum b or you are just feigning innocence"Her tone louder than before.

What's she talking about?!

"Liv,what happened?Talk to me,I don't understand"I touched her arm as I scrunched my brows in confusion,my face wore a look of concern.

She pushed my hands away roughly,"Don't touch me,there's no difference between you and your brother,you both are liars!"Tears were already gushing out from her eyes.

"Excuse me?Can you for Christ's sake tell me what you are talking about?"

"You knew about what he did and you never told me,I thought I was your bestfriend,your darling twin played me,he made me believe he liked me but then he dumped me and went after the only girl he loves, Kimberly!You knew what he did but you never told me,you know what?!You and your despicable brother should stay the hell away from you especially you!"She warned before storming out of my room and out of my house.

Okay,what just happened?!

I froze on the spot still not understanding what just happened,I didn't even know about Mason and Kim and where the hell is that MF I call a brother. I gathered myself before marching angrily to his room, he's going to explain everything to me.

"Mason Oghenero Adigheji!!!!"I yelled on top of my voice as I entered his room.

"What?!What is it!Are you going to also accuse me wrongly like your bestfriend did"

"Excuse me?!"

"Just shut up! You girls have a way of believing what your eyes see without wanting to know what circumstances led to it"

"Why did you play her?"I asked as I pushed him hard on his chest.

"I didn't play her okay!She walked in to see Kim very close to me to see Kim about to kiss me"

"Now she thinks I played her"He facepalmed in frustration. "Argghhhh!!!Girls!"He dragged his iron chair down in anger and it hit the floor,he walked out angrily to probably meet Jace.

So Olivia misunderstood everything and she wrongly accused me

"Why did you try to kiss him?You know he has a girlfriend"I snapped at Kim who stood there looking at nothing in particular.

"But we didn't kiss"She replied coldly before storming off.

I rushed to my room to call Olivia so I can explain everything to her but she already blocked me on every social media platform when I checked and blocked my number too.

Ugh, she's so fast in kicking people out of her life without thinking twice.

I had only one option.....Lucas.

It's been three days since my bestfriend wrongly accused me,I went to her house so I could talk with her and ask for forgiveness even though I never did anything wrong,she humiliated me by telling hers maids to throw me out,they told me to leave that she wasn't ready to speak with me. I called Lucas and guess what he said;he wasn't ready for involve himself in girl's problems.

After alittle talk with him,he finally agreed to intercede and reason with Olivia,all I could do was wait,pray and hope she forgives me.

Lucas's POV

"Olivia,can you please stop crying,it's okay"I patted my bestfriend who has been sobbing on my shoulders for the past fifteen minutes.

"Lucas,he.....he...he pla...yed me,he made be..lieve he liked me then he dum...ped me and went after Kim"She cried.

"Aren't I good enough?"She asked as she finally looked me in the eyes,her eyes very red and still watery.

"Ofcourse you are"I cupped her face as I wiped her tears with my other hand.

"I don't think he played you, according to Miche...."

Her face had a scowl on it as I mentioned Michelle's name,"Can you stop saying her name! Ofcourse she would cook up a story to support her brother,I saw them kiss,I did,I'm not blind,I saw them and here she's defending her brother,it makes me sick"She scoffed.

"Okay,he played you right?I know you are heartbroken but please get over him,he isn't worth your tears"I comforted her.

"You don't understand,I can't get over him"

"Wait,why?Did you....oh no!Olivia why?!"

"You slept with him,didn't you?!That's why it's hard to move on for you, Olivia you shouldn't have"

"I'm sorry,I was an idiot"She rested her head on my shoulders and started crying again.

"Olivia"

"Olivia!"

"Come on,look at me"

"Look,people make mistakes...

"But this is the biggest mistake,I have made,I...."

"Ssshhh,it's okay,trust me,you are damn beautiful,you misunderstood everything,I'm sure he loves you,now stop crying,please baby"I petted her.

My words made our eyes lock in a gaze,"Lucas..."

"Can I do something to you?"She asked,her beautiful watery eyes still piercing into mine. "Do what?"

She immediately filled the little space between and brushed her lips against mine,she kissed me softly,I tasted the flavour of her lipgloss and her lips as well,I pushed her away gently so I won't hurt her.

"Olivia,why did you do that?!Look,don't do that again,I don't want to cheat on Michelle"

"Stop trying to act innocent, everyone knows the truth already"

My eyes widened as I looked at her,I probably didn't hear well.

"I know you are cheating on Michelle with your ex,Joan who is your other girlfriend"

"That's no....t true"I stuttered. "Stop lying,I know the truth"She said in a low tone.

"How do you know?"

"While Mason and I were dating,he told me about it,he wanted me to talk to Michelle since she will listen to me"

"Did you tell her?"I quaked,as I held my duvet tightly.

"No,I didn't,I was shocked at first,I was going to tell her but...."

"Thank God,you didn't tell her"I kept my hand on my chest as I heaved a sigh of relief.

Olivia tilted my head upwards to look at her before crawling close to me,I climbed on top of me and sat in a straddling position.

"You know,I missed these lips"She whispered and gave me sexy look.

Stop...I can't handle this

"The last time we kissed...it was..um..yummy...too yummy"She bit her lips in a seductive manner.

"We promised not talk about it again,didn't we?"

"We did but I couldn't stop thinking about it,I used to have a crush on you but when I saw you liked Michelle,I had to back off"She played with the buttons of my shirt.

"I didn't want to be a bad bestfriend to either of you so I chose to consider my second option,Mason"She unbuttoned my shirt slowly.

"But then when you kissed me during our trip,I couldn't stop thinking about it,Lucas,I want to kiss you again"She whispered close to my ears,she smelt so nice,she kissed my necks,I squeezed my duvet to fight the urge.

I don't want to do this,I can't resist this ..

"Can we kiss again?"

I stared at her like she just grew two head,the position she had on me made me have a bulge. She smirked when she felt it,she pulled my face close to hers and smashed her lips against as she digged her fingers into my skin,I didn't push her away,I deepened the kiss as I sucked her tongue,she paused,she pulled my shirt off and then hers,she tossed both to the other side of the bed,I was left shirtless while she was on a purple bra.

I took my eyes off immediately feeling guilty for what I just did and also about to continue,I carried her from the bed,her legs wrapped around my waist,my lips still on hers,I dropped her gently on the bed.

She stared into my eyes and I smiled,I used my nose to tingle her neck before giving her neck kisses,she moaned in response,she caged me with her legs wrapped around my waist,she pulled me back to her mouth, little shivers of pleasure shot through me as I deepened the kiss,my hands on her hips,I pressed my body against hers,her hands on my neck,using her necks to draw circles on my back.

Olivia swapped positions with me as we continued kissing,she hovered on top me,her tongue battled with mine,I let out a moan.

"Lucas"

I heard my name and we both froze.
