Chapter 30
The ringing of the bell saved me from the hands of Mr Sam,for the past few days,he decided to join hands with Lucas and my mum to make my life a living hell just because I never showed up to study with Lucas, everytime he walked into class,I was always the first person he would call to answer a question and trust me,I answered every question correctly because I have been studying on my own.
He was dictating a note on Nigerian Federalism for us when Jace walked into our class."Good morning,Sir"He greeted Mr Sam.
"Morning,is it time?"
"Yes Sir,it's time for sports"He replied as he looked at all of us before leaving to announce to the rest of the school.
A smile made a way to my face,not because I saw my handsome boyfriend,I just needed a break from all these academic activities,Mr Sam left shortly,my classmates ran out immediately,leaving me all alone,I brought out my tracksuit from my bag and moved to the changing room.
I walked back to my class to make sure all my things were in order,I didn't want to be a victim of theft,it was usually sport time that people's items are stolen.
"It seems someone is excited for sports today"A masculine voice spoke from the door.

"Oh,hey babe"I smiled at him.
"I'm not actually excited,I just want to enjoy my last days"I added.
"I see,I hope you aren't participating because your legs need rest"
"I might"
"You won't"
He walked slowly towards me,I stood there looking at him and muttered to myself"This guy is actually my boyfriend,I hope this isn't a dream because it won't be funny"
"It's not a dream,I'm yours"He gave me a reassuring smile as his hands snaked around my waist.
"How did you hear that?"I questioned because I muttered to myself in a very tiny voice.
"I have sharp ears"
"You look really pretty today"
"And this new hairstyle of yours,I'm looooooving it!!"He touched my hair as spoke in a feminine high pitched tone which made me giggle before I could reply.
"Don't ever speak in that tone again"I said amidst my laugh.
"You don't like it"He pouted and gave me the puppy dog eyes.
"Will you stop being so cute?"I hit him softly on his chest before we burst into hearty laughter because of our facial expression.
"Okay,let's go downstairs,you know this isn't the first time we are late for sports"He stated as he paved way for me to leave first.
We got downstairs,he left to meet our sports master to discuss whatever thing related to it,I was left with some of my classmates who were in Blue house,I looked around for Kim since she was the head girl and also a senior in Blue house but she wasn't anywhere to be found neither was my brother.
Those two must be somewhere commiting iniquity
I can bet on that.
"Okay,blue house,line up quickly!"I ordered.
They formed a bee line immediately they heard my voice,I wasn't the kind of senior you could disobey,I'm not harsh neither am I a tyrant,I'm just a cool senior that hardly gets angry but when I do,it's not a sight to watch,so that was the reason,they obeyed without hesitation.
I looked around to make sure every junior in blue house was in the line,my eyes managed to fish out two female students who were busy sitting down and discussing whatever.
They were not my classmates

Why does this class specialize in making their seniors angry and frustrated.
"Hey,both of you!"They turned slowly to look at me like I was interrupting their discussion.
"Why aren't you in the line?!Didn't you hear my order?!"
"We don't want to participate"The light skinned girl blurted out.
Ehn?!!!
"And who asked you if you want to participate or not,it's an order not a request"I snapped back at them.
"I'm talking and both of you are still sitting down,my friend,will you stand up fast!"I glared at them very deadly.
"Senior,we don't want to participate na,is it by force?"The other one finally spoke out as they stood up.
"Better just shut that your stupid mouth,you don't want to participate because of what?!Asthma?!Broken bone?!"
"If there's anybody who shouldn't participate in anything that will be me,I'm here stressing my legs and my voice because of you and you are opening your mouth to talk yen yen yen"I yelled at both of them.
"Nobody sent you message to enter relationship that broke your legs and heart"One mumbled to the other.
"Abi o,she is saying it as if it's our fault"The other girl replied her in a whisper.

I walked slowly towards them to fill the gap,I gripped her arm tightly and looked at her straight in the eyes,"What did you just say?!"I yelled at her,my voice attracted almost everybody.
"I sa..id.....th..th..at"
"Oh so you can't talk now abi"I glared at her as I squeezed her arm more tightly.
I landed a slap on her face before she could reply or complain,she touched her face in disbelief,"Go down on your knees fast!!"I ordered them,they both flinched at the tone of my voice.
"I don't blame both of you or even your entire set, it's because SS3 boys are giving you face na,that's why you are having mind abi,let me just tell you now,let this be the first and last time,you disrespect me or any senior before we leave this school,rubbish!!!"I eyed them and walked away,ignoring the murmurs of junior students and the calling of my name by my classmates.
I managed to climb the stairs,it seems my legs had to cooperate with me because I was angry,my mood and day has already been ruined,well Mr Sam was the first to spoil my day,I thought sports will help but I guessed wrong,I made my way to the female toilet.
I turned on the tap to wash my face,I wasn't in my right state of mind
If murder wasn't illegal,I probably would have killed alot of people,starting with that Devil,Lucas, he's the reason why those two maggots had the guts to say that rubbish

I continued mentally cursing Lucas and the entire SS2 set until I decided to raise my head and look towards the door,the person I saw there frightened me.
"Tobi?Oh my God,you scared me"I touched my racing heart.
"Hey,babydoll"He greeted me but not in the usual way.
"What are you doing here?This is the female bathroom or have you forgotten to read?"
He smiled at me,"I know where I'm and I can also read,I'm not dumb"He took a step away from the door.
"Okay?....so what are you doing here?"
"Isn't it obvious,I came here to see you"
It has been awhile since we spoke,I have been ignoring him ever since I told him I was interested in a relationship,"See me why?"I questioned.
"You ask too many questions,just too many"He replied me,he used his left leg to close the door.
This is weird and creepy,Michelle open your mouth and scream right now
You are overthinking this,Tobi wouldn't do such a dirty thing,maybe he wants us to talk in privacy.

"So...I heard about your breakup with Lucas and how you landed in coma for weeks and..."He spoke after a while.
"And yes,your new relationship with Jace Kamsiyochukwu Walker"His face took a form of frown when he said that.
"Yeah..."I managed to say.
"The last time we spoke,you said you weren't ready for a relationship,for weeks,you made me believe that we were in a relationship,you made me believe that you actually liked me,I fell in love with you, Michelle and what did you do in return?!"He walked around me in a 360° turn.
"You used me so you could distract yourself from Jace,then you jumped into a relationship with Lucas!!"I flinched because he was obviously angry.
"I said I wasn't ready for a relationship with you,how is that a crime?!"I argued as I looked at him.
"You should have told me that before acting like my girlfriend for weeks"
"You clearly misunderstood everything,I never acted like your girlfriend,you were the one who was already clinging to me like you were my handbag"I snapped back at him.
"Shut up!You know for a minute,I wanted to have my revenge on you and I had the support of your ex-friend, Ifeyinwa but then when I got to know about the rival between Jace and Lucas,I decided not to do anything but to sit back and watch the drama unfold and just as the Lord will have it,Lucas succeeded in having my revenge but that wasn't enough for you to sit your stupid ass down and hide in your shell,you jumped into another relationship with Jace"He scoffed when he pronounced "Jace".
"I'm not surprised,I don't expect to see good people every now and then"I eyed him.
"You think I'm a bad person,the bad person here,it's you,you did a terrible thing to me!"
"Even though Lucas had revenge,that isn't enough for me,I want to have mine too"He looked at me lustfully.
"You know we never got to be intimate,I never got the chance to taste this pink lips of yours"
His hands trailed down my body,I looked at him in disgust,I flung his hands off me,"How dare you touch me?!You,disgusting,good for nothing,perverted animal"I slapped him across the face.
He let out a laugh,a very wicked laugh,before I could blink my eyes,he was already behind me,he bent my arm to my back,I struggled to let loose,"Let go off me right now"I ordered him as I struggled even though my hand was hurting.
"Or what?!Incase you are not aware,the whole school is downstairs, nobody will come and save you,babydoll,not even your Prince Charming,now keep quiet!"
"Help!!!!!"I screamed on top of my voice because my life depended on it.
Kick him in the balls
Yeah,that would be a great idea if I could kick my legs!!!
"Help!!!!"I screamed louder.
He covered my mouth with my hands,I bit it instantly,"I said keep quiet"
"You are not the boss of me,help!!"
An handkerchief was used to cover my nose,I became very weak to scream or struggle,he let go off me and I fell to the ground and blacked out.

I opened my eyes slowly,my vision wasn't clear yet but I was surrounded by half of the class, Lucas, Olivia,Jace and my brother were all over my face.
"She's awake"
"Thank God"
Incase you don't know,this isn't the first time,I'm passing out,it seems to be my hobby now
"Move back everyone,give her some air"Olivia gestured to everyone with her hands.
I managed to get up as I touched my head,I looked around for Tobi but he was nowhere to be found,I looked back at them,"How did I get here?Who saved me?"I inquired,they were all quiet.
"Lucas did"Olivia replied my question nervously.
Oh wow great
"How come?"
"Actually,it was Olivia..."
"I was on my way to the toilet when I heard a girl scream,I walked quickly in fear,when I found out it was you,I ran to get help because I knew I couldn't tackle Tobi alone"She explained to me as I looked at her like I couldn't comprehend the words that came out of her mouth.
So she decided to get help from Lucas
Yeah because Jace and Mason will snub her.
"When we got back,we saw you on the floor and Tobi,he was half naked,well he was only on his white singlet and he was caressing your body,so I told Olivia to get the principal and few other teachers while I deal with him"He sounded like a superhero.
"He's in the principal's office now,they called his mum,he's going to get suspended or even expelled"Olivia added.
Jace and Mason were quiet the whole time,they didn't utter a word,I stood up from my seat and staggered,a hand touched my shoulder gently to pull me back,I didn't bother turning back to check who it was because I knew who,I removed it from my shoulders,he wasn't around when I needed him the most instead it just had to be one of my enemies who saved me,I walked out of the class ignoring everybody who had pitiful looks on their faces.
I needed space from everybody and everything,I don't even know who I should be scared of,it seems almost everybody wants to play this revenge game and I always have to be the victim,I can't wait to write all my external exams so I won't have to see their faces again,I will meet new people and start a new history. I looked at the blue sky,it was so beautiful,I thought about everything and anything,what if they never came,Tobi would have taken advantage of me.
"You know you shouldn't be alone"A voice said from behind.
"Dozie,go away"
"Are you okay?"He asked me,I didn't bother replying that question.
"Miche..."
"Michelle..."
"Just answer me"
I turned back in anger and pain to look at him,"Do I look like I'm okay?!I'm not okay at all,I don't deserve all these drama,ever since I lost my elder brother,I have been exposed to dangers,not even Nero can protect me from them,just go away, please"I woke angrily at him.
"But..."
I cut him short,"Just because you saved me doesn't give you the right to talk to me or think I will have a soft spot for you and Olivia and then we can be friends again"
"You are welcome"He replied with hurt in his eyes before walking away.
"Wait..."My words managed to put a halt to his movement.
I walked towards him,"I'm sorry,I didn't mean to....I meant Thank you for saving me...."My face admiring the tiled floor and avoiding his face.
"I know what I did in the past was wrong and I'm not asking for forgiveness but I'm not that horrible you know...I actually care about you....anyways nevermind...are you going to come over to my place so we can study"He said in a casual way like I never spoke rudely to him few minutes ago.
I stared at him,"That's the only way I can forgive you"He smirked.
Look at who is speaking of forgiveness I don't blame you
"Sure...it's for my own good...so yeah,I will come over"
"It's strictly academic work, nothing more"He assured me before walking away.
I watched his retreating figure until it disappeared,I facepalmed myself in frustration and confusion,I don't know why fate made him save me and not Jace,I don't even know why I'm angry at my brother and my boyfriend,the ringing of the bell distracted me,I checked the time,it was time for Civic Education class,I walked to my classroom,I didn't want to be late.
