Chapter 22 Protect Her!

Yadav's PoV

How the hell am I going to get her out of this suite without getting caught in the eyes of the media? As Adish said, the media didn't get any hot news on me for almost a month now. They would surely be waiting for something.

To top it all off, I just disappeared in the function hall all of a sudden. They will connect everything and will write all rubbish. I don’t care what they write about me. But her!? I should get her out safely. Her identity should not be revealed.

I really want to kill her for her stupidity. She is the epitome of stupidity! I turn to see her. She was sitting on the couch sniffing and caressing her cheek. The burning rage in me gets even higher if that was even possible.

She didn’t ask me anything. She didn’t get angry at me for hitting her. First of all, this is the first time she has seen me. She may be a fangirl, but still hugging an unknown man is something she should never do. Why do I feel this way? I don't know. I want her to be a girl of high moral values. Why? Again, I don’t know.

How can she react this way when a man hits her? Shouldn't she be fierce? How the hell would she protect herself?

"Hey, Look at me, Try being a fierce girl, idiot. Is this how you react when a stranger hits you?"

She looked up at me with her beautiful eyes. How I wish to just get lost in her eyes.

"You are not a stranger." She said.

"How dare you hug me? Is this what you do when you see a man?" I want to strangle her and I am trying hard to control my anger on that poor girl.

"Shut up, Yash. Don't you dare cross the line and touch my dignity. What do you even know of me that you talk like this to me? You are mine and I don't hug strangers!" she said with a little anger. I like it when she speaks up. I liked it when she said I'm hers’. But this is no good to her.

"I have never seen you before. If you are a fangirl just get a picture and get the hell out." I tried avoiding her.

"Pch, Stop it, Yash. I know you are that blue cap Stranger. We have met many times before.I will tell you again, I love you. And I know you feel the same about me as I feel about you."

She is insane. I should get angry now. But I feel satisfied. Weird! What the hell is she doing to me?

"Idiot, Stop talking like a nut case. I'm not who you think I am."

"Oh really, Then why did you hold my hand and say the very same dialog you say to me every time we meet? Why did you slap me? Do you behave this way with girls you don’t know?" She had that challenging look on her face. She just asked me the same damn thing I asked her. I don't want her to know that I was the one that helped her. But God, How did I miss that? She continued talking.

"I told you not to raise your hands on me again. Didn't I? It really hurts. It’s true that I love you but don't you ever raise your hands on a girl. I came to meet you and you hit me? This is not how love works, Yash!" She started with anger and ended like a whine. Do I like it? Of course yes.

I love how she calls me. She thinks I'm in love with her? She is an Idiot. She remembers everything that happened in the pub. I covered my face only when her friend came. So, she saw me!

"God, Idiot! How did you get in?" I cannot handle her. She is so cute. She still didn’t know the seriousness of the situation.

"um... A reporter named Ramkumar asked me to stay here to meet you. Why aren't other reporters here yet?" She asked me, looking out the door.

What the hell? She came in through a reporter? I truly want to strangle her to death for her stupidity. I controlled myself because her cheek is already swollen and I regret doing that to her. But I still feel she deserves it.

"Is he your friend?" I asked her.

"Nope, I just met him! He is my office mate's friend's senior." She said, shrugging her shoulders as if it was nothing.

Why can't I slap her again? Idiot.

"Are you a mental retard? How old are you? Don't you know not to trust strangers? Can't you be more vigilant? Idiot, there will be press outside now. You are following my every move through this media, right? You know what will they write if we go out together? They will click pictures of you and will write that you are my new fling. They will say that you slept with me. They will write that I fucked you. I wanted to stay away from you, idiot. I didn't want to make any trouble for you. Look at you now. Your parents will be very proud of you if your photo comes in papers and tv with this news!"

I shouted at her. She stood there dumbstruck. Shock was clearly evident in her face. I almost feel sorry for her.

"Aiyayo, What shall we do now, Yash?" She asked me, getting her common sense back.

"What is your name?" I finally asked her.

"Sorry, My name is Akshitha. Nice meeting you." she forwarded her hand for a handshake. Seriously?

"Are you for real? What am I talking about and what are you doing?" I yelled.

"You should know your future wife's name right!? And besides, I know you will take care of me. Why should I get tense?" she said, jerking her shoulders. I love her confidence in me and I hate myself for letting her in. This urge to protect her is scaring the shit out of me.

I just ignored her and went into the room to call Shiva. But then, something struck me. Her name is Akshitha. Akshu? So, she was really at my home on that day. I thought my eyes played a trick on me. I disconnected the call and went out.

"Hey loosu! Do you know my mom and dad?" I asked her for which she shook her head in a no.

"Pch, Do you know someone named Shalini and Aravind?"

"Yes, Are they your parents?" her eyes grew even bigger. I just nodded at her and called my mom.

"Ma, where are you?"

"Home, Yadu. Why?"

"Ma, come to Park Sheraton ASAP. My suite number is 309. Bring dad too if possible."

"Yadu is everything fine?"

"Wait a minute, I have a guest for you." I gave the phone to that idiot.

"Tell her what you did and ask her to come to your rescue." I told her. She grabbed the phone from me with a wide smile. Is she not intimidated by me or this situation?

"Hi aunty, Akshu here."

"....."

"I came to see Yash, aunty. Why didn’t you tell me that he is your son?".

"...."

"I'm not going to talk to uncle anymore. I knew he looked so familiar, Yash has many traits from uncle."

"..."

"I don’t know, aunty. Your son is very angry. We are in his suite."

"..."

"Ok aunty, We will..." I snatched the phone back. She is ridiculous.

"Ma, This idiot has somehow got into my suite without my knowledge. There are press outside. We cannot go out together. Come soon and take her with you."

"Ok Yadu, I'm coming with dad. She is a good girl, Yadu. Don't get angry with her."

I disconnected the call and turned to her.

"I'm talking about your damn reputation and here you are fighting with my mom for not letting you know that I'm her son?" I couldn't even believe that she actually had that conversation at this moment.

"Pch, Come here, Yash. Sit down. Why are you getting worked up? I know you will protect me. You came to my rescue even when we didn't know each other. Why should I feel now? I'm actually very happy. Never in my wild dreams have I ever thought that I will meet you in person. But see, now you belong to me."

"God, stop blabbering like this. I don’t love you. I'm not that kinda guy. I don't want to be the reason for your misery. That is why I am now trying to save you. Besides, you are well known to my mom and dad. They won’t be happy if the media writes about you in a wrong way. And to top it all, you are not my type."

"Oh really? Then why did you save me in the park and pub? The first time you helped me, may be a coincidence. But why did you yell at me? Why did you show you are concerned about my safety? Why did you hit me when you saw me in the pub? Why did you hit me now? This is how you care for every passer-by girl? And ofcourse I am not that type of a girl who you spend a night with. I am for your life-time!" She said. The truth in her words made me more angry. I went near her and looked her in the eye.

"Look at me, I don't love you. I don't know you. You are just a stranger. Don't you dare invade my privacy." I spoke to her in warning.

"Ok ok, I agree. You don't know me. I'm a stranger to you. But just keep this in mind, Yash. You belong to me and I know it in my heart." she spoke with conviction. I really love how confident she sounds.

I just threw her a look and went into the room and locked myself in. I really don’t know how to handle her. She speaks to me like it's usual. She is very insensitive yet bold to convey her feelings. I now have a big question, Whom does she love? The guy who rescued her or Yadav Rishid?
