Accidental encounter
She went to a corner to stretch and Reagan did the same. After five minutes, the two of them now sat by the edge of the deck.
“I think we’re fully prepared now,” he then went first and looked back at her to offer his hand, “come on.”
Accepting his hand, he jumped into the water with a splash and pulled Aurora with him to the water.
Aurora wasn’t prepared for their land so the harsh water came in contact with her skin and she winced, the sudden cold temperature made her tremble, and closed her eyes shut.
Quickly recovering from the shock, she swam up. Good thing she was wearing the life vests cause if not, she would have been deeper now in the water.
“Reagan!” Aurora yelled, wiping away the water from her face as she could hear the fits of laughter coming from Reagan.
Reagan swam closer to her, “What? Wasn’t that awesome?”
She scoffed, a bit irritated at his antics, that was really childish of him, “No need to pull me with you in the water.”
Reagan noticed her expression and queried his eyebrows, “What? You know how to swim right?”
“Yes duh, but you pulled me with you childishly, I wasn't able to prepare myself! What if I didn’t know how to swim?” She ranted on and on and Reagan grabbed her hand, the water, “Alright, I was just messing with you, I’m sorry.”
“Now we’re in the water, don’t you think we need to enjoy this?” He asked, and she just nodded, swimming away from him.

Their snorkeling adventure began as she swam deeper and followed a school of clownfish who was passing by.
There were also some corals and sea turtles on the seafloor and Aurora dared to go further. She managed to touch an unknown fish and can’t help but smile at the feeling.
The scene was just relaxing and calming as she discovered some more fishes hiding by the rocks. Reagan was clutching the waterproof camera he had, pointing it at Aurora. He took some selfies and the view and Aurora as she swam away.
They stayed swimming and venturing for a few more minutes. They were so caught up with a time that they forgot to go back to the yacht and eat some snacks.
Aurora tried to swim away more, confident that she would be able to swim up on time when she felt something strange. It felt like something bit her, she looked down on her right leg and saw a transparent colored jellyfish near her feet. She’s not sure which species it was but she tried to swim away. It didn’t take long for the pain to appear. She grimaced, her whole body in intense pain and her right leg numb.
She looked for help, for Reagan anywhere who seemed to disappear, and cursed as she was not able to move her body.
She fell deeper into the ocean and she could sense movement from near her and it was Reagan. Reagan looked at her with panic and she pointed at her legs. He seemed to understand instantly and grabbed her hand and pulled her up.
As they reached the surface, Reagan quickly got her up on the deck and pulled her to fully get to the sunbed. He made her sit on the sunbed and she rested there, coughing up some water that managed to get in her mouth.
Reagan disappeared from her sight for a few minutes and returned with a first aid kit.
He then sat beside her and carefully placed her right leg, which had now a bruise. The insides were purple and the sides got red marks and she hissed in pain, feeling like she wanted to scratch it from the itchiness and intense burning sensation from the wound. It felt like her leg was on fire and at the same time got electrocuted.
Reagan sighed, shaking his head at the sight, “I’m sorry,” he breathed out. He grabbed some cotton and betadine to clean the wound first. Aurora hissed in pain but tried to be patient, now feeling sick and wanting to throw up.
“I’m sorry, just endure the pain for now…I’ll have the yacht dock to some city and have you get checked in the hospital, ” he then applied for some strange white medicine and wrapped it with a clean cloth.

As the pain finally subsided a bit, she managed to calm down and mumbled, “Thank you.”
Reagan nodded, smiling sadly, “I apologize, I didn’t think of the possibility that this would happen to you. I once also experienced that and I can feel the intense pain…” he trailed off.
Aurora nodded and tried to stand up but failed, feeling her leg was totally numb now.
“Oh, I numbed down the pain so you won’t be able to use your legs for now.” He said and leaned down to her, “I’ll carry you to then. Where do you want to go?”
The cold wind brushed past her as they were still outside and by the deck.
“Take me to the bathroom. I want to take a bath.” She said and Reagan hesitantly looked at her wound.
“But your wound…the medicine has to be dried up all night.”
She sighed, “I won’t get it wet.”
He silently nodded, now carefully placing his hands on her waist and legs before standing up and making his way to the bathroom. He walked slowly so she wouldn't have to feel the pain.
Once they reached the bathroom door, he placed her down in the bathtub and turned on the faucet to fill it. He placed the soap and shampoo beside her so it would be easy for her to grab and also placed the towel beside her.
“I’ll grab some clothes for you. Just tell me when you’re done, I’ll wait outside.” He instructed before leaving.
