Reagan's POV Part 2
“Hey mom, took you long enough to call me.”
“What? You didn’t answer my 50 missed calls, you child. Now get back here, we have a lot to talk about little one.”
I smile sheepishly, knowing it all too well I’d be damned. I have always been a tough guy but one call from my mom and it’s over.
“Yes, I know you miss me so much mom, don’t worry I’ll get there as soon as possible, Bye!” And with that, before mom could reply, I hung up and called my friend, Zen Alaric Malcolm, Aunt Hira, and Uncle Wave’s son.
“Wazzup, bro.” He greeted me as soon as I called.
“Prepare my car, I’ll get back now,” I ordered.
“Oh, why are you ordering me like I’m one of your staff? Ask your father’s staff, asshole.” As always, Zen has a temper worse than mine, which is understandable as he’s been through hell recently.

“Come on, dude. I’ll pay you back next time…” I said, hoping he’ll give in.
I could almost see the evil grin forming on his face as he asked, “When can I have your yacht for a week, dude?”
I sighed, really, I know he’ll be after my yacht. Zen is really predictable. Closing my eyes, I gulped, not having any choice. “Sure sure, as long as you return it to me in good condition.” My beloved yacht has always been precious, but I could buy another one anytime anyway.
“Then I’ll be there in ten minutes.” Leave it to Zen for being so dependable. He may have anger issues and a bad temper, but that boy has saved me a few times so I guess it’s a win-win situation.
“Alright.”
I ended the call and watched as the clock struck each minute. I drove the yacht to the shore and waited for Zen. He was true to his words as he arrived exacly in ten minutes.
As he drove me home, I gave him my yacht’s keys, “NO intense parties, and please clean before returning it to me.”

He saluted me, his grin so wide I’m afraid it’ll stretch his face. “Got it, bro. Thanks a bunch!”
I stared at my house for far too long before coming out and holding my suitcase. I waited for my mom to scream at me the moment I stepped in but the house was awfully quiet.
I instantly went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water when I heard the loud chopping of meat as my mom in her usual apron was holding a butcher’s knife.
I gulped, feeling a bit nervous and when mom turned around to face me, smiled warmly at me and said sarcastically, “Welcome back kiddo.”
“Honey! Reagan’s home!” Mom shouted and dad stepped down the stairs, “Welcome back, my child. How was your trip?” HE asked happily, and mom gave him a glare and he instantly shut up.
“Scold him, Phoenix. Your child has gone too far!” Mom yelled, her hands crossed in front of her. “You know how we are business partners and Aurora’s parents are our close friends yet what did you do to their child? My goodness, Reagan, don't you know anything except make some trouble?”
Dad came in and gave her a side hug, kissing her cheek, “Calm down, honey. I’ll deal with him.”
Mom let Dad talk to me as we went upstairs to my room. Once I put my suitcase, Dad sat by the chair and faced me as if I were still a child.
“So you said to us and to her parents you'll take her on a vacation? But then Felix told us the truth…I want to know what’s real and why did you do it.” He asked calmly. My dad, Phoenix Hill has always been a kind and calm man, except he’s mad. I know that right now, he’s trying hard to control himself and I respect him for that.
I cleared my throat, “Dad, I know it's my fault. Felix is telling the truth…and I did it because I like her.”
Dad nodded, thinking for a minute before responding, “Son, you know how much Aurora likes you since you two were a child. Every one of us knows it yet you two are so naive.”
Dad nodded, thinking for a minute before responding, “Son, you know how much Aurora likes you since you two were a child. Every one of us knows it yet you two are so naive.”
I bit the insides of my cheek. Of course, I know it. I know that fact. But then…I couldn't help but think about it. “Yes, but not romantically dad. She likes me like a girl like a pop idol.”
Dad chuckled at that, “I see, I’m sorry but I can’t save you on this one. Your mom is right, you need to learn and get punished.” He said, now deciding.
“But dad-”
Dad shushed my mouth, “You’ll stay here in our house, grounded and your yacht is confiscated, alright? Now, where are the keys?”
I blinked, looking down.
Dad’s eyes narrowed and looked at me shaking his head. “Son, don’t tell me you lost it?”
I smiled at him sheepishly, “Zen borrowed my yacht, dad…”
Dad snapped his eyes at me, “What?”
I rubbed the back of my head, “I kind of…owe him so I let him.”
Dad's face palmed himself, looking like he didn’t have any choice but to give up. “Alright. Just stay here in our house as your punishment.”

I kind of obeyed my parents for a while. I promise, I really did everything I could to stay busy like keep my body in shape as this is one of the things Aurora loves for me… and watch movies, read books, and keep my mind off from running to Aurora…but then I kind of failed in the end.
I couldn’t keep myself from doing something being the asshole I am. I dressed up and went to the first person I could think of going to right now.
Driving to Dasha’s place, Aurora’s cousin, I kind of surprised her as she gasped as she saw me standing by the door.
I plastered my usual boyish grin and greeted, “Dingdong, Hi Dasha.”
She raised her eyebrow, looked at me up and down, and asked sassily, “What are you doing here? I thought you’re with…her on your yacht doing god knows what.”
I glanced around and put my hand on her lips, “Shhh, I came here to ask you about something.”
She removed my hand and rolled her eyes at me, “This is the first time I had a long conversation with you, and turns out you just need something from me? Cool.”
She removed my hand and rolled her eyes at me, “This is the first time I had a long conversation with you, and turns out you just need something from me? Cool.”
Realy, Dasha has always been this sarcastic and sassy, just like her mom, Aunt Sasha. I held her hand and tried to give off my charm, “Awe c’mon. We’re friends.”
She removed my hand and said disgustingly, “Ew, you’re not my type.”
“You’re not either.” I retorted, wanting to add “because my type is your cousin but then decided not to say it.
She drew a heavy breath as if talking to me is so muscle straining and finally said, “Fine, enter.”
I released a relieved sigh and looked around. They have always had a beautiful house, of course, since her mother is a fashion designer there is no way the house would look cheap. I’ve been to many houses but their house is one of the most glamorous houses. No kidding.
“Ah, finally, it has been a while since I got here. Where’re your parents?” I said calmly, wanting to ease the air around a bit before asking a favor to her.
She shrugged, “Dad is working while mom left to attend a fashion show in Paris.” She answered bluntly.
I nodded, looking at her, and noticed something, she seemed a bit off. She has always been jolly and bubbly…but now, she doesn't look like herself. She has always looked like she had her life together with her hair put in a bun and clean makeup and fresh scent but now… she’s in her baggy jeans and sweatshirt and the dark bags under her eyes weren’t flattering her. It’s a bit suspicious.
“Cool. You look a little pale and depressed. Are you okay?” I asked, making sure it was the proper tie to ask a favor from her.
“I’m alright. You want a drink?” SHe offered, diverting the topic and I just shook my head.
“I mean, honestly, I came here to ask you a favor…I mean.I want to ask you if-”
Just then, my phone rang and I saw my mother's name in the dialler. I wanted to ignore it and talk to Dasha first but then mom kept calling again until I finally gave up and answered it.

For sure she’ll just scold me for not obeying my punishment but whatever.
I turned to Dasha, “Wait a minute, I’ll just answer it for now.” She nodded and let me walk away and answer my phone.
“Sorry for violating my punishment, I’ll get back home as soon as I can mom, let me just take a moment- “
“Is Aurora with you?” She asked, now awfully quiet. I could sense the panic in her tone as she said those.
I stopped and answered, “No, why mom?” Why would she ask me that? Knowing it damn well I have made a wrong move to Aurora? I may be an asshole but I’m not that dumb to give her her space for now…
