The Finale
“I’ll go and cook breakfast for you, '' He said, now finally standing up as he tried to grab his clothes but Aurora stopped him.
“No stay, it’s still early and it's only the two of us here.” She said, still fresh from her early morning action.
Reagan cursed under his breath, not able to resist her tempting offer. “You’re right, let’s seize this moment more.” And with that, Reagan smirked, now going back to bed as Aurora chuckled.
That was what happened last time in Aurora’s household, in her room.
“Babe, we’re here.” Said Reagan to Aurora as he stopped by a very beautiful hall. The very famous church in Rome was surrounded by beautiful pink flowers, matching the wedding theme for the place. Aurora looked as if the place was filled with beautiful cars around and more guests were coming, just like them.
Reagan noticed her hesitation, “How are you feeling?”
“Nervous.” She replied honestly, her heart beating so fast.
“Want to ditch this place?” Reagan offered and as tempting as it may be, Aurora shook her head not wanting to miss the very special moment of her best friend, Felix, with his bride, Vivienne. This is their day, and they are one of the important guests, they should definitely appear and not ruin their day.

“Then there is no use stalling my dear, let’s go now.” Reagan got out of the car and went to the passenger seat to open her door. Aurora slowly opened the door, careful not to step on her pink off-shoulder dress that reached the floor. She smiled and felt the camera flash as Reagan escorted her to the church. Since it’s a famous celebrity getting married, of course, the paparazzi will come, and security was placed everywhere to tighten the safety of everyone.
They have been officially in a relationship and announced it to the public just recently, and the media is going crazy for the revelation. Of course, since Reagan was the famous bachelor, a playboy who kept on changing women every week in the past… everyone was curious about who managed to get his heart to settle for a year and counting.
There were bitter fans of Reagan while some were happy, thinking they suit each other. Nevertheless, Aurora doesn’t care about their opinion. It’s not their life anyway.
Aurora spotted the groom inside the church as he talked to some of the guests, as days passed by.
Felix noticed someone staring at her and he quickly looked in their direction, waving at them as he approached.
“Looks like the groom is busy today,” Reagan commented, giving Felix a bro hug. “Your hands are a cold man.” He teased and Felix just lightly hit him in the shoulders.
Reagan and Felix talked it out just recently too and they have been on good terms now as Felix chose Reagan to be her best man. Felix glanced at Aurora and smiled, “You look lovely, best friend.”
She did a little twirl for Felix and smirked, “Of course I do, Felix. I’m happy you are finally getting settled. It felt like it was just yesterday when we were playing around as kids.” She said and Felix chuckled.
“Ah, that was a good memory,” he said, smiling at the thought. He stayed for a bit until he was called by some other guests so he left them alone. Aurora looked around, seeing her cousins, friends Zariyah, Zen, and their older sister who was away for some time, Zinnia was able to attend. Of course, the adults were here including her parents, Zariyah’s parents Aunt Hira and Uncle Wave, Felix’s parents, Reagan’s parents, Aunt Emma and Uncle Dax, Aunt Hannah and Uncle Leroy, and Aunt Ember and Luke. Everyone was here on this special day, in their best suits and gowns, and smiling at this special event.
Aurora’s parents smiled at her, her mom kissing her cheek and giggling happily. “Are you alright mom?” She asked, she seemed to be too happy..
Her dad chuckled nervously, seemingly hiding something, “Oh, your mom is totally fine. SHe’s just very happy, sweetheart.”
Aurora just nodded. The wedding organizer called everyone and asked them to line up outside as the wedding is going to start. Reagan left to stand by the line while Aurora stayed with her parents since she’s not the maid of honor for Vivienne and she respects that.

The song began and they finally started to march to the church. Aurora took pictures as her twin siblings, Isaac and Isaiah, were part of the ring bearers. They look adorable in their little suits and bowties.
The event went on as planned and in peace until the bride came in. Everyone paused, standing up and looking at the bride. Vivienne looked so gorgeous in her lovely wedding gown, her smile so bright and she’s glowing.
Vivienne glanced at Aurora and smiled at her, Aurora winking at her and mouthing, “You look beautiful.”
Vivienne continued walking together with her parents to her side until they reached the priest and Felix escorted her from thereon. Everyone sat in their seats as the song ended and finally the priest started his vocal prayer for the couple.
The wedding took a bit longer, with Felix smiling so wide as if he won the lottery and Reagan glancing at Aurora, giving her seductive looks. Aurora widened her eyes, giving her boyfriend some instructions that says, “Behave!” And Reagan just smirked.
Finally, it was kissed the bride part and Felix lifted the wedding veil on Vivienne. Everyone was looking forward to it.
“You may now kiss the bride.” The priest said and Felix leaned in, capturing Vivienne’s lips. Everyone cheered, some whistling and yelling in happiness and Felix carried Vivienne bridal style to the car, finally escaping the car.
“Go to the restaurant and afterparty, Felix, don’t ditch on your own wedding!” Aurora heard Reagan yelling at Felix and Felix just stuck his tongue out at him.
Reagan then walked towards Aurora, whispering in her ears, “Let’s ditch the after-party. I want to show you something.”
Aurora’s eyebrows creased, “But you need to give a speech to Felix.”
He shrugged, “Oh, don’t think about them, come on, I have a surprise for you.”
Aurora just shook her head at his indecisiveness and decided to quietly follow him to his car. Well, there is no use arguing with him.
Reagan drove towards the busy streets of Rome and they were stuck in traffic. Aurora rolled her eyes, running out of patience, “Can you just tell me what is this surprise? You know how I hate surprises.’
Reagan just had this small smile on his face, “Secret, babe, I promise you will love it.” He then pointed at the billboard advertisement and said to wait.
Just then, the billboard advertisement stopped and a picture of hers showed up. Aurora gasped, glancing at Reagan who was grinning with a proud look and Aurora continued to look at the billboard. Reagan decided to get down to be able to see better and she followed him, standing by the driveway. There were a few words of her name, not until the four words appeared.
“Will you marry me?”
Those were the words there. Aurora gasped, blinking at the signs and turning to Reagan to see if he was really serious, but Reagan was already on his knees, holding a box with a beautiful diamond ring inside.
She felt a tear escape from her eyes, “Are you…really sure?”
Reagan nodded, his eyes determined, “Yes babe” He answered. “I love you Aurora Makarov, I know it’s so quick since we just recently became a couple but I knew since then that you are the woman I want to carry my kids with. You are beautiful, strong, and fierce, and I love you for who you are. Aurora Makarov, will you marry me?”
Aurora couldn’t help but sob in front of Reagan, there in the busy streets of Rome, Reagan is proposing to her. She didn’t even expect this! “Will you kidnap me again in a yacht?”
Reagan chuckled at that. “C’mon babe, stop teasing me like that.”
Aurora just laughed mist her tears yet Reagan looked at her hopefully, “C’mon, my knees are going to strain if I keep on kneeling here…”
Aurora just giggled at his reaction and nodded, “Yes, babe. Definitely yes!”
Reagan sighed in relief, finally standing up and putting the ring on her finger. He quickly embraced her, saying his thanks and silently praying. “I couldn’t sleep for days, you know.”
People were cheering, clapping, and yelling in happiness for them and Aurora’s cheeks reddened, a bit embarrassed to notice that they were being surrounded by a crowd. She didn’t know that people were watching them.
She then remembered, “But my mom and-”
“Don’t worry about that babe, I already asked for your parent's advice first and they agreed.” Oh, so that’s why her mother was giggling earlier.
“You didn’t have to do this, Just keep me hidden, Reagan.” She said, but Reagan just carried her bridal style and drove towards a five-star hotel.
“You proposed to Felix and Vivienne’s wedding and now driving me to a hotel? BAbe, you do know it’s not us that are getting married, right?” She commented, but Reagan just shrugged.
“It’s me and you tonight, babe. Don’t think about others.” He said as he got his reservation key and was in the elevator, still carrying her bridal style. “The moment you think about them, I’ll punish you.”
Aurora just scoffed at him, playfully rolling her eyes but loving it inside. Really, Reagan is so extra in this. He’s the more affectionate one…
But regardless, she’s finally in the hands of the man she loves and who cares for her like nobody else. Everything is already perfect, and she couldn't ask for more.
The end.
