The two roommates were astounded. Ariel asked cautiously, "Are you quarreling?"

Hazel put on a poker face. Quarreling? It's impossible to quarrel with Joshua.

Summer hurriedly shifted the topic, "Hazel, two days ago, your parents called and said they want to come and see you. Did you call them back? We can find a place to accommodate them if they visit."
