1083 Death of An Earth Immortal

Seeing a few of the Soul Ascension Realm Experts who had begun to appear also start eying him up, Xuan Hao increased his speed as he continued moving around the edge of the battle. Doing his best to avoid any of the Soul Ascension Realm Experts along the way, while also making sure to keep an eye on the situation taking place between the two Earth Immortal Realm cultivators.

Although the battle had not ended, it was obvious that the presence of the Earth Immortal, who should be from the Blue Sea Empire, weakened at a far faster speed compared to his opponent.

Even worse for him, it looked like none of the Soul Ascension Realm Experts present had any intention of jumping in to help. Having judged it to not be worth it to risk their lives to join the battle at this point in time.

After all, when everything was said and done, the two people fighting were still Earth Immortal Realm Experts. Even if their current strength was nowhere near that level at the moment, they had no idea if the person attacking the Earth Immortal Realm Expert from the Blue Sea Empire still had some trump cards left that would allow him to recover his strength…

Even then, Xuan Hao didn't slow down as he followed the river deeper into the inner region. Not daring to stop for a second before he was certain that he was outside the area that would be affected by the upcoming brawl, that was bound to happen when the two Earth Immortal Realm Experts grew weak enough for the surrounding Soul Ascension Realm Experts to build up the courage needed to join the battle.

At that point in time, it wouldn't matter if he wanted to join the battle or not, he would likely still end up being drawn in by someone viewing him as a threat.

For this reason, Xuan Hao could not help feeling his heart drop as he heard a painful scream echo out behind him as the presence belonging to the Earth Immortal Realm Expert from the Blue Sea Empire disappeared without a trace.

Not because it was the first time, he had seen someone in the Earth Immortal Realm die, but because it gave all of the Soul Ascension Realm Experts surrounding the place where the two Earth Immortals had been fighting a good reason to attack.

No longer would they worry about a possible retaliation from the Blue Sea Empire from killing one of their Earth Immortal Realm Experts. Instead, they were now jumping in to avenge the Earth Immortal Realm Expert from the Blue Sea Empire.

Even if the treasure belonging to both Earth Immortals ended up going missing, the Blue Sea Empire might not investigate the matter and just let it go as a form of repayment for avenging their Earth Immortal...

"How dare you kill an honored Earth Immortal of our Blue Sea Empire! I Yung No Mo will personally kill you!"

As expected, one of the Soul Ascension Realm Experts who had been waiting for just this moment jumped forward and tried to announce how he would avenge the now dead Earth Immortal Realm Expert from the Blue Sea Empire.

Not a second after the first Soul Ascension Realm Expert stepped forward and announced that he would take revenge on behalf of the now dead Earth Immortal, it didn't take long before the rest of the Soul Ascension Realm Experts jumped forward as well. All of them trying to outdo each other as they all began moving closer to the exhausted Earth Immortal Realm Expert.

Even if he had managed to leave the place and was continuing to get further away without any of the Soul Ascension Realm Expert stopping him, Xuan Hao could still not help feeling a sense of unease as the last of these greedy Soul Ascension Realm Experts were outside the range of his divine sense.

Only travelling for a little over half an hour with the speed rivaling someone in the Earth Immortal Realm and seeing a city appear in the distance, did he feel himself calm down.

No matter how much the battle between the Soul Ascension Realm Experts ended up escalating, he doubted it would reach all the way to his current location. Not to mention, the city he had spotted in the distance also had the presence of someone in the Earth Immortal Realm watching over it… And for once, he wasn't feeling the slightest bit uneasy about the presence of the Earth Immortal Realm Expert.

At the very least, if the fight between the Soul Ascension Realm Experts did end up reaching all the way here, there would be an Earth Immortal to deal with the matter.

"To think things would end like this… I got my revenge and survived, but in the end, I'm still going to join you…" Muttering this to himself as he continued to stare down blankly at the dead body in front of him, the old man who looked like he was about to fall over at any moment turned to glance at the Soul Ascension Realm Experts fighting all around.

"Hehe, the Blue Sea Empire is just like I remember it. Nothing more than a bunch of greedy vultures watching their senior die. Ready to pick at his corpse for anything of value the next second." Chuckling to himself as he said this, the old man bent down and picked up the interspatial ring on the dead body before putting it on his own finger.

Even with this happening, the surrounding Soul Ascension Realm Experts didn't show any signs of stopping their fighting. None of them caring about what the old man did, as his cultivation had already been destroyed and he would end up dying in another few minutes anyway.

"Hm…? These young ones really think I'm just going to lay here and die? Haaa… Guess they are still inexperienced when it comes to dealing with someone in the Earth Immortal Realm…" Seeing that no one reacted to him picking up the interspatial ring, the old man could not help shaking his head as he muttered this to himself.

"Well, I guess its my duty as a senior to teach them!" Saying this, an evil smile made its way onto the old man's face as he retrieved a small pill from his interspatial ring before popping it into his mouth-

And before any of the Soul Ascension Realm Experts had the time to react, his strength seemingly recovered as he jumped into the air and escaped into the inner region of the Blue Sea Empire. Knowing very well that there would be no way for him to cross the border in his current state.
