Chapter 1278 Leaving for the Mystic Realm

Setting off for the borders of the sect to pick up Su Wuhan, Xuan Hao didn't waste much time as he directly used the Dao of Space to appear in front of the other party before grabbing him and returning to the sect before the person in question had time to react to what was happening.

By the time Su Wuhan came to again and began to observe his surroundings, he realized that he was in a completely different place with all of his cultivation being sealed without him even noticing.

Recognizing Xuan Hao as the terrifying existence who had essentially forced him to become an unwilling servant of Elder Dust Fairy, Su Wuhan felt himself relaxing ever so slightly. Understanding that the other party shouldn't have taken him away to kill him, as he had done quite well in helping Elder Dust Fairy over the past few months and was still in the process of completing several tasks on her behalf.

Leaving him all alone to stare blankly around the empty room without knowing what to do.

Even if a part of him wanted to leave the room and explore where he was, his cultivation base had been sealed and he feared that leaving the room without allowance could result in the terrifying figure who had brought him to the room in the first place killing him.

The only difference from the first time around was the fact that he now also carried a little girl along with him as they headed towards a place that Su Wuhan would be forced to call home for the foreseeable future.

Arriving at the entrance to the mystic realm of the Mirage Sect together with Mui and Su Wuhan, Xuan Hao used the power inside the robe he had gotten from the elder of the Mirage Sect back during his first visit to mystic realm and created a passage through the protective formation for them to pass through. Avoiding the maximum cultivation limit placed on the formation guarding the entrance of the mystic realm all together.

"This is… A mystic Realm?" Only now realizing what kind of place they had entered, Su Wuhan who had remained quiet so far, could not help showing a surprised expression on his face as he looked around the underground space, they now found themselves inside.

However, before he could get a chance to marvel over the fact that he had managed to enter a mystic realm, Xuan Hao used his dao domain to seal him away in a corner next to the entrance of the mystic realm. Making full use of his not so recently comprehended Dao of Formations to do this.

Although he had taken Su Wuhan to the mystic realm for the purpose of him hiding away while the people from the Blue Sea Empire swept through the place. Killing any demonic cultivators they spotted along the way. There was no way he would allow him to just roam around inside the mystic realm on his own.

Not to mention the fact that there should be things inside the mystic realm that could allow him to rapidly improve his strength and possibly break free from the seal he had placed on him, there were also several things that could kill him if he carelessly wandered around the place.

Even with his current strength in the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, being comparable to the Middle Stage of the Dao Seed Realm, he didn't feel confident in his own safety inside the mystic realm of the Mirage Sect, let alone someone who had only just recently broken through to the True Demon Realm…

"Master, are we going to leave that person here?" Deciding that it would properly be best for him to remain silent, Su Wuhan helplessly nodded his head when faced with the questioning look of the little girl.

In a sense, he felt happy knowing that the Star Shattering Sect at least valued him enough to find a place to hide him away and keep him alive instead of just discarding him when the people from the Blue Sea Empire appeared.

Although he understood that his current position in the Star Shattering Sect still wasn't really anything more than a useful demonic cultivator, he at least felt like he saw some hope in turning his own situation around if he continued working hard for that Elder Dust Fairy who was watching over him and putting him to work.

At least, when compared to what awaited him back in the Frozen Wasteland or the demonic sect that had been behind him becoming a demonic cultivator in the first place, Su Wuhan felt that it was far better for him to stay inside the Star Shattering Sect.

Outside of that, there was also the option of trying to run away after the seal placed on his soul disappeared or he found some way to remove it, but he had a feeling that doing something like that would result in the demonic sect that had been secretly nurturing him coming after him.

Thinking about his current situation as he had nothing better to do while being stuck inside the vast empty underground space of the mystic realm, Su Wuhan realized that staying with the Star Shattering Sect might be his only way of staying alive, as the Star Shattering Sect itself should be what kept the demonic sect that had been secretly nurturing him from going after him for the past few months.

After all, they should have noticed that the person they had sent to get him had been killed.

The only reason they hadn't sought him out after that, should be because they felt cautious about the Star Shattering Sect that was the most likely suspect in the disappearance of their True Demon Realm cultivator.
