Chapter 1306 Center of Attention

Following the sound of battle together with a few of the Nascent Soul Realm demon beasts that had also come to see what was happening, Mui arrived at the edge of a large clearing in the forest where two massive demon beasts could be seen fighting with each other.

One being a massive turtle the size of a small mountain, while the other was a giant tiger only slightly smaller in size.

Just from their size alone, Mui was sure that these two demon beasts shouldn't be in the Half Step Domain Lord Realm but were instead true Domain Lord Realm demon beasts. After all, only powerful demon beasts like that would be able to grow to such massive sizes.

At least for now, she hadn't encountered or heard about any demon beast that could grow to the size of a small mountain before it reached the Domain Lord Realm. If there really was such a demon beast out there, it would pretty much be impossible to kill below the Domain Lord Realm due to its massive size.

"Guess I shouldn't get involved in the fight, as it would only result in having to use one of master's talismans…" Muttering this to herself as she confirmed the strength of the two demon beasts and satisfied her curiosity, Mui began to retreat back to avoid getting drawn into the battle between the two Domain Lord Realm demon beasts.

Although a part of her did want to test her current strength against a demon beast in the Domain Lord Realm, she also understood that her current strength was still far away from contending against a demon beast like that. Even with the help of her metal balls, she wouldn't be able to do much when faced with the domain of these Domain Lord Realm demon beasts.

Especially considering that the demon beasts currently fighting it out in the clearing didn't seem like demon beasts who had just broken through to the Domain Lord Realm, but instead looked more like seasoned Domain Lord Realm demon beasts that had already progressed a fair bit into the Domain Lord Realm.

With her limited exposure to Domain Lord Realm cultivators beyond the first three stages of the realm, Mui could only guess that the two demon beasts fighting with each other should be above the earlier stages of the Domain Lord Realm.

However, as she was about to leave the edge of the clearing with the two powerful demon beasts fighting each other, she realized that a large number of demon beasts ranging from the Core Formation Realm to the Nascent Soul Realm had blocked her way.

More importantly, she also noticed three demon beasts that should either be at the Half Step Domain Lord Realm or already have reached the Domain Lord Realm.

In the few short minutes since the battle between the two Domain Lord Realm demon beasts had begun, a terrifying number of demon beasts had managed to gather to watch the fight play out. Making Mui painfully aware of just how many powerful demon beasts were lurking around inside the new forest that she had entered.

However, as she noticed them, the demon beasts who had remained focused on the fight also noticed her high in the air, causing Mui to feel a shiver run down her spine as the divine sense of countless demon beasts locked on to her. Including the terrifying divine sense of the demon beasts above the Nascent Soul Realm.

In the end, the commotion caused by so many different divine senses sweeping through the battlefield also caused the two demon beasts fighting in the middle of the clearing to stop, as they both turned their attention towards the focus of the hundreds of different divine senses.

Soon staring directly at Mui floating close to the edge of the clearing by using one hand to hold on to a fist sized metal ball that floated in the air through some mysterious force with confused expressions on their faces. Not knowing how to react to the rather funny image of a young girl gently swaying back and forth while holding on to a small metal ball that seemed to defy gravity as it remained motionless in the air without any rhyme or reason.

Even with their Domain Lord Realm cultivation base and intelligence in no way inferior to that of a human, they simply couldn't comprehend what they were seeing. Especially considering that this was also their first encounter with a human.

Feeling that she had suddenly become the center of attention for the thousands of demon beasts all around the clearing, Mui could not help feeling a bit afraid for the first time since she had started training on her own.

Realizing that some of the demon beasts had already started moving below her during her panic and seemed to be about to leap into the air to attack her, Mui didn't waste any time as she directly poured a large portion of her qi into the metal ball she was holding on to, causing it to fly away at a speed no less than that of a Domain Lord Realm cultivator. Dragging her along, as she used her remaining strength to hold on while steering the metal ball in the direction of the safe forest, she had already cleared out for any powerful demon beasts.

However, upon seeing that she was running away, the demon beasts below and around the clearing didn't go back to what they had been doing before, but instead began roaring out loudly before chasing after her.

The reason for this was not because they just didn't like humans like her but was more so because the metal ball that had been injected with a large portion of her qi looked no different from a massive spirit stone to these demon beasts.

And not just any old spirit stone, but one of such high quality that none of the demon beasts below could control themselves as they charged after her. Inherently understanding that if they could eat this "spirit stone", they would be able increase their cultivation realm and strength.

Be it the Core Formation Realm demon beasts or the Domain Lord Realm demon beasts, all of them felt tempted by this "spirit stone".
