Chapter 20 - The Raging Flame Sect

Back to the day before the servant quarters competition, Xuan Hao returned to his peak and checked up on Qing Yi, not forgetting to answer her questions regarding the Autumn Wind Sword.

"Master, can I go out tonight? I plan to meet up with a friend and get something to eat." Qing Yi lowered down her sword as she asked Xuan Hao, she had already planned to meet with Zeng Shihan again.

"Sure, no need to ask me about what you do in your own free time." Xuan Hao himself did not really mind it as he soon exited the training court and made it back to his room.

Inside his room, Xuan Hao quickly looked through a few books located on a shelf besides his bed.

The book he was looking for was one related to herbs, he had decided that he would set out and find the Infernal Heart Grass, so Qing Yi could awaken her divine physique.

Without it, Qing Yi would never be able to unleash her true potential. The longer he delayed finding the Infernal Heart Grass, the longer it would take for Qing Yi to breakthrough into the Foundation Establishment Realm. This would in the end delay him completing the main quest of the system even more!

Xuan Hao already knew where the Infernal Heart Grass would grow, the only bad thing was that it was located in the south region of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom. The territory of The Raging Flame Sect!

The Flying Sword Sect and the Raging Flame Sect went way back and had always been at odds with one another, but what truly caused them to become enemies was something that happened 500 years ago.

Back then, the Flying Sword Sect was weaker than it was now and only had 3 experts at the Nascent Soul Realm, while the Raging Flame Sect had a total of 7 Nascent Soul experts!

The Raging Flame Sect back then had found out that the Flying Sword Sect had unearthed a spirit stone mine at the border of their territory and brutally killed all the Flying Sword Sect disciples present before seizing the spirit stone mine.

This had caused an outrage in the entire Heavenly Sky Kingdom at the time, but in the end, the Raging Flame Sect was stronger than the Flying Sword Sect at the time and managed to hold onto the spirit stone mine to this day.

Now, the Flying Sword Sect had 5 Nascent Soul experts while the Raging Flame Sect had 8.

Even though the Raging Flame Sect was still stronger, the difference had narrowed down quite a bit and the Flying Sword Sect was starting to demand the spirit stone mine back, while the Raging Flame Sect kept refusing.

This in turn caused tension on their bordering territories to build up with passing time, as more and more skirmishes between the disciples of the Flying Sword Sect and Raging Flame Sect took place.

For him, a Nascent Soul Core Elder of the Flying Sword Sect to enter the territory of the Raging Flame Sect at such a time… The Raging Flame Sect would most likely see it as an outright declaration of war!

But Xuan Hao still decided to take the risk and sneak into the territory of the Raging Flame Sect!

"Hah… I hope nothing goes wrong…" Xuan Hao sighed slightly to himself as he walked to the entrance of the sect before jumping on top of his sword and flying into the distance.

Flight was normally something that only people at the King Realm was capable of.

The reason why Xuan Hao was able to use his sword for flight was due to him comprehending True Sword Intent, it allowed him to more easily control his sword and also manifest sword intent itself to strengthen it.

Another use was to use the sword intent to engulf the sword and control it to float. With this, Xuan Hao could just jump on top of his sword and make it float in the direction he wanted to go.

This was also another reason why sword cultivators who comprehended True Sword Intent were so feared, if the other party were not a King Realm cultivator, the sword cultivator could simply jump on top of his sword and fly away if he were at a disadvantage.

Xuan Hao continued flying for another 2 hours before he finally came to the border between the Raging Flame Sect and the Flying Sword Sect.

The border itself was just besides the spirit stone mine that the Raging Flame Sect had stolen from the Flying Sword Sect 500 years ago and by now the Raging Flame Sect had set up defensive structure all around it.

Xuan Hao couldn't help but feel annoyed when he looked down and saw the spirit stones slowly being transported out of the mine and onto carriages to be shipped back to the Raging Flame Sect.

"Nothing to do about it for now… In the future I will be sure to help the Flying Sword Sect deal with the Raging Flame Sect and make them pay back the spirit stones they loaned… With interest of course…"

Chuckling slightly, Xuan Hao flashed an evil smile before he disappeared deeper into the territory of the Raging Flame Sect.

Dealing with the spirit stone mine would have to wait until he was strong enough, for now he only needed to find the Infernal heart Grass for Qing Yi.

The place where it could be found was the Burning Mountain Range.

The Burning Mountain Range was famous in the Southern Region of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom. Mainly because of the strong demon beasts and also because it stretched through several kingdoms, there was even rumours that in the deepest part of the Burning Mountain Range, demon beasts in the King Realm could be found!

Luckily, the part of the Burning Mountain Range that passed through the Heavenly Sky Kingdom did not have anything at the level of a King Realm demon beast. The strongest demon beast found there was at the Nascent Soul realm, so although not as dangerous Xuan Hao still had to be careful when he entered.
