Chapter 237 - Leaving Closed Door Meditation

After arriving at the pagoda of enlightenment, both Chu Yang and Bai Ning did not focus a lot as they kept seeing a certain male and female disciple running back and forth just outside while one party was yelling curse words towards the other. Launching a few different techniques towards the person in question every now and then.

It was only when the elder in charge of the pagoda of enlightenment had enough and decided to step in that the two calmed down and left the area, but by this point, Bai Ning was no longer that excited for the visit to the pagoda of enlightenment…

With Chu Yang showing Bai Ning around the Flying Sword Sect, Bai Ning also began to open up more as both of them started getting along more with each other.

Like this, another day passed and soon 2 days had passed since Xuan Hao returned to the Flying Sword Sect together with Bai Ning.

At the start of the next day, Chu Yang had prepared to go out and continue showing Bai Ning around the Flying Sword Sect, as a single day was far from enough time to show him around the entire Flying Sword Sect, and he had already planned to show him around the Flying Sword City when his master came out and gave them permission to leave the sect.

"What are you two doing…?" Leaving the pavilion to meet up with Bai Ning like he did yesterday, Chu Yang did indeed spot him, but he was currently talking with Qing Yi as both of them seemed to not even have noticed that he had shown up in the first place.

"Ah, big sister Qing Yi taught me about alchemy and how useful it is! I never imagined alchemy could be so profound!" Forgetting to even greet Chu Yang, Bai Ning excitedly said this as he soon returned his focus back to a small book that Qing Yi had handed over to him.

"Thanks a lot for the gift! I will be sure to treasure it!"

Not understanding what had happened between the two of them, Chu Yang could only look on in confusion as Bai Ning put away the small book given to him by Qing Yi.

Qing Yi did not say anything either but just smiled triumphantly towards Chu Yang, who in turn just became even more confused.

What had happened with his senior sister today? Did she perhaps eat some sort of weird herb before coming here…?

"Bai Ning… What did Senior Sister give you…?" Watching Bai Ning as he walked over, Chu Yang could not help but ask as he really wanted to find out what Qing Yi had given to him.

"This!"

Taking out the small book that he had just hidden away, Bai Ning happily showed it off to Chu Yang as he smiled happily.

"Encyclopaedia of common blacksmithing materials and where to find them? Why did Senior Sister Qing Yi give this to you?" Not able to understand why Qing Yi had suddenly appeared to answer the questions Bai Ning had about alchemy and even given such a useful book to him, Chu Yang could not help himself as he asked.

"Big Sister Qing said that she heard from Zhi Ruo that I wanted to know about alchemy, so she came to teach me about it, and she even brought a book about blacksmithing after she found out that I was interested in blacksmithing!

Ah, she also said that she wanted to join us today for going around the Flying Sword Sect. I-is that okay?"

"I see… There is no problem if she wants to join us on our trip around the sect." Not knowing why, Chu Yang felt that something was wrong.

Was he not the one in charge of showing Bai Ning around? She was clearly not interested in it beforehand, why did she suddenly want to join them?

Not really finding any reason to refuse her joining them, Chu Yang ended up agreeing.

Maybe he would also have a chance to get to know his senior sister better if they interacted more outside of their practice fights and the times, they met each other inside the pavilion.

Xuan Hao had just arrived a bit earlier as he saw his disciples making plans to head down together and show Bai Ning around.

Seeing this, Xuan Hao did not want to interrupt them as it would also be important for his disciples to spend some time together and get to know each other better.

"Hm, it seems like my two disciples are getting along quite well with Bai Ning… Looks like I will just allow those two to show Bai Ning around while I go and see how the sect master is doing. After that I should also find that Chi Hu, he should have reached the sect by now…" Muttering this to himself as he quietly observed his disciples leaving the small space outside the pavilion as they headed down towards the sect, Xuan Hao soon disappeared as he headed in the direction of the Sect Master Feng Chen's Pavilion.

Almost instantly appearing in front of the Sect Master's pavilion, Xuan Hao could clearly feel the strong aura leaking out from inside as a surprised expression momentarily appeared on his face.

The Sect Master had broken through! And from the aura alone, Xuan Hao could tell that he had not simply broken through and reached the Eighth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm but had instead reached the Ninth Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm!

This was a big surprise to Xuan Hao, but a welcome one.

With Feng Chen's increase in strength, Xuan Hao knew that the status of the Flying Sword Sect inside the Heavenly Sky Kingdom would drastically change after it was revealed!

If his strength was announced as well, Xuan Hao could easily imagine the Flying Sword Sect becoming an untouchable existence inside of the Heavenly Sky Kingdom.

At that point, even the Heavenly Sky Kingdom would not dare to do anything to the Flying Sword Sect.

Other than that, there was also the fact that the Flying Sword Sect would most likely merge together with the Spring Flower Sect.

This alone would be more than enough for the Flying Sword Sect to split from the Heavenly Sky Kingdom and become a neutral sect under the Sky Empire.

The only thing required at that point would likely be for them to join the sect alliance that the Sky Empire was trying to build up in an attempt to weaken the influence of the different churches that had taken root inside the Sky Empire.

No use thinking about that now! I still need to visit the Feng Chen and inform him about the organisation I encountered in the Spring Flower Sect's territory… But it looks like he is currently in the process of stabilizing his cultivation base, so it would not be a good time now, I guess…

Observing the aura surrounding the Sect Master's pavilion more closely, Xuan Hao could feel a few faint waves of instability in the aura as it would momentarily weaken every now and then.

Maybe she would know more about the people who snuck inside their territory…" Mumbling this to himself, Xuan Hao soon disappeared from the Sect Master's pavilion as he made it over in the direction of the most powerful aura outside of his own in the entire Flying Sword Sect.

Making her way over towards the courtyard where Chi Hu and the treasure hunter were confined, Shu Yao suddenly felt the presence of another person appear behind her as she turned around prepared for a fight as several different flowers bloomed around her as the qi between heaven and earth began to grow restless.

"It's just me! Don't attack!" Suddenly seeing several hundred different flowers filled with a terrifying might appear around Shu Yao, Xuan Hao panicked slightly as he felt a certain threat from the flowers around Shu Yao.

There was clearly a hint of a pseudo domain present in them and even he would end up injured if those flowers were all launched at him!

Shu Yao was clearly way stronger than he had expected!

"Elder Xuan!? You have grown stronger than the last time I saw you… Did you perhaps already reach the Domain Lord Realm!?" Making the different flowers around her disappear with a wave of her hand, Shu Yao looked at Xuan Hao with an expression of shock as she asked this.

She had clearly remembered that Xuan Hao had not reached the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm last time they met, but now she had not even sensed him before he had already appeared behind her.

The only person that could do something like this in Shu Yao's mind, was someone who had surpassed her own realm! And given the fact that she could already be considered to be at the Pinnacle of the Nascent Soul Realm, Xuan Hao had to be someone in the Domain Lord Realm!
