Chapter 250 - Back At The Flying Sword Sect

Listing to the group of four as he hovered above the concealment formation covering the tent that they were currently inside of, Xuan Hao did not do anything as he felt himself suddenly becoming confused.

They were here to monitor the Flying Sword Sect to see if a certain person appeared. Even more confusing, that person disappeared 800 years ago and had apparently not showed up since then!

Not only that, but they were looking for this person across the entire Sky Empire at once and seemed to be at odds with them!

Xuan Hao suddenly felt reluctant to move against the group of four people.

Not matter what, for someone to be at odds with the Sky Empire… That would mean they were at least had a similar amount of strength!

Xuan Hao did not really feel like going against a power at the same level as the Sky Empire with his current strength…

The group of four also talked about them being recalled soon due to some infighting. So, with this in mind, Xuan Hao decided to just keep an eye on the group of four before they left.

In the future when he was stronger, he would personally look into who this group of people belonged to and why they were monitoring the Flying Sword Sect.

Maybe the person they were looking for had something to do with the Flying Sword Sect?

Shaking his head as he slowly ascended into the sky, Xuan Hao cast one last look towards the small observation post that was hidden inside of the small forest before making his way back towards the Flying Sword Sect.

After returning, he would come back and keep an eye on them until they left! From what he had heard, they would most likely leave after the lower quality communication talismans could be used again.

Given that the secret realm had already been around for quite a bit by now, Xuan Hao felt that it would at most take a week before that happened.

Leaving behind the small group of four, Xuan Hao soon arrived back in the Flying Sword Sect as he quickly spread out his divine sense and found out that Feng Chen had already left seclusion.

Through his divine sense, Xuan Hao could clearly feel his aura had grown far more stable compared to when he first came over to find him after returning to the Flying Sword Sect with Bai Ning a few days ago.

Other than that, Xuan Hao also picked up all sorts of dubious stories from the disciples of the sect as they talked about the cause for the earlier commotion…

Disappearing from the spot he was standing in, Xuan Hao tried to erase some of the stories he heard as he soon appeared at the place where both Shu Yao and Feng Chen were talking with each other without any of them noticing anything.

"… So, after that, I think we should make a move against the Raging Flame Sect together! What do you think?"

"Hm… It is indeed a good idea, and we would be able to deal with those troublesome people all at once…"

Still lost in their own conversation, Xuan Hao made a fake cough as both of them instantly turned around ready for a fight.

Congratulating him with a happy face, Feng Chen's face soon became a bit troubled as he mentioned the last part.

"Haha, no need to worry about it, I did not join the Flying Sword Sect to acquire a high standing or something along that line… Just being able to train those few disciples of mine and cultivating in peace is more than enough for me."

Shaking his head after hearing what Xuan Hao said, Feng Chen no longer pursued the issue of increasing Xuan Hao's position in the sect.

Xuan Hao was also happy about this. After all, the only positions above a core elder were the sect master and vice sect master! Which would require him to put forth effort to manage the sect!

Compared to how carefree he was as a core elder; Xuan Hao had no plan to accept a 'promotion' from the sect master and have to manage the Flying Sword Sect.

Staying as a carefree Core Elder was the most ideal path for him!

Was the Raging Flame Sect not their enemy… How come Shu Yao looked like she suddenly had a life and death grudge with them…?
