Chapter 31 - Bright Sun Divine Physique, Small Sun

Qing Yi and Zhi Ruo both returned to the pavilion only when the sun was about to go down and just after entering the pavilion, Qing Yi discovered that someone was standing in the hallway looking at both of them.

"Master!"

"E-elder Xuan!"

Qing Yi happily called out to Xuan Hao, while Zhi Ruo was a little more nervous and shyly hid behind Qing Yi.

"You should be the servant sent over by the servant quarters, Zhi Ruo?" Seeing how excited Qing Yi was upon seeing him, Xuan Hao smiled slightly as he turned to look at the hidden Zhi Ruo behind Qing Yi.

"Y-yes! Elder Xuan!" Zhi Ruo replied at the top of her voice. Maybe a little too loudly, as she soon hid away behind Qing Yi once again.

"No need to be nervous, you can just get used to living here slowly. Did Qing Yi show you where you can stay?"

"Ah, Yes! She already showed me a room earlier!"

"That's great, I will be borrowing Qing Yi for a moment then." Hearing an affirmative answer, Xuan Hao took his leave together with Qing Yi as Zhi Ruo returned to the room she was assigned to and started unpacking her luggage.

"Did you manage to find the Infernal Heart Grass master?" After they had walked out of the pavilion, Qing Yi couldn't hold herself back from asking anymore.

"Yes, I did, we are going to carry out the awakening of your divine physique at the training court as it would be easier to control in case the fire qi between heaven and earth goes out of control or some other kind of heavenly phenomenon decides to show up.

If that really happens, I should be able to control it. Better not have a heavenly phenomenon appear and broadcast that someone with a divine physique appeared… The amount of trouble and danger that would bring is enormous!" Looking at Qing Yi, Xuan Hao assured her as they made their way to the training court.

"So, what am I going to do? Just eat it?" As they made their way to the centre of the training court, Qing Yi curiously looked up at Xuan Hao and asked him.

"I diluted the Infernal Heart Grass in some water to lower the effects, so all you need to do is drink it." Saying so, Xuan Hao took out the medical concoction he had made earlier.

"Drink it and you will be able to awaken your divine physique!" Xuan Hao stated brightly as he handed the cup with the questionable medical concoction over to Qing Yi.

"…" Qing Yi looked doubtfully at the glass of water with what looked like red grass sadly floating around in it.

If any alchemist saw this medical concoction of her master, they would surely skin him alive…

"Good! Now drink it!"

Still doubtful about how much the water with red grass in it would help her, she decided to trust in her master.

In one big gulp, Qing Yi drained the cup and almost immediately felt the change, as a fiery heat started spreading throughout her entire body.

"Sit down and relax your body, what you are feeling now is the Infernal heart Grass's effect flowing through your entire body. Soon a large heat should gather in your dantian, when that happen, try to spread the heat from the dantian into the rest of your body!"

As she felt the heat spreading through her body, Qing Yi heard her master and quickly did what he told her to and soon the fiery heat that had been spreading through her entire body gathered inside of her dantian.

The heat slowly rose, and Qing Yi started sweating as she tried her hardest to spread the heat gathering inside of her dantian out to the rest of her body.

The process took a long time, and it was only after a little over one hour had passed that Qing Yi finally managed to control the fiery heat in her dantian and guide it to the rest of her body.

By now, she was extremely exhausted and sweating profusely. The heat alone was almost unbearable and if not for Xuan Hao assisting her from time to time, Qing Yi doubted whether she would have been able to do it.

"Hah…"

As the last wisp of heat left her dantian and spread into the rest of her body, a magical transformation took place.

The most obvious thing was her black hair becoming even darker as her brown eyes changed to red.

Other than that, her cultivation directly went from the fourth stage of Qi Condensation to the seventh stage of Qi Condensation. Putting her close to the peak of the Qi Condensation Realm.

Xuan Hao saw this and let out a satisfied smile while looking at Qing Yi with the help of the system.

It seemed that her talent had increased by 1 after the awakening and the dormant status had dissapeared.

Thinking about it, it was probably the effect of the Infernal Heart Grass and not the divine physique itself that had increased her talent after it awakened her divine physique.

Smiling at the thought of it, Xuan Hao focused his attention back on her physique, as it had changed from the dormant state to having small sun written behind it.

Inspecting it further, Xuan Hao found out that small sun was the stage of the divine physique. Meaning that the physique could level up further in the future.

What was needed for that to happen was not written and Xuan Hao himself had no idea how to level up a divine physique as he had never heard about anything like it before.

"M-master, did it work…?" calling out to him, Qing Yi laid down exhaustedly on the ground as she asked.

"Hm? Ah, yes it worked splendidly! Congratulations Qing Yi, you have successfully awakened your divine physique!" Seeing the exhausted look on Qing Yi's face, Xuan Hao threw the idea of levelling up her divine physique to the back of his mind for now, as he focused on her instead.

"Hah… That's great…" With those last words, Qing Yi closed her eyes as she drifted off to sleep.

"…"

Looking down at his sweaty disciple living the life and sleeping under the stars, Xuan Hao bent down and picked her up before making his way back towards the pavilion.

"Well, at least I got her a servant at the right time…" mumbling so to himself, Xuan Hao ended up handing the sweaty and still asleep Qing Yi over to the confused Zhi Ruo.

Looking at Zhi Ruo hurrying back to Qing Yi's room while carrying Qing Yi in her arms, Xuan Hao sighed at the scene.

A cultivation world was indeed awesome, even a frail servant girl had the strength to carry an adult man. Let alone a small girl like Qing Yi…
