Chapter 351 - Leaving Pure Heart Island!

Having been shocked by the strength of the demon beasts that lurked inside the Pure Heart Lake, both Chu Yang and Qing Yi cautiously glanced over towards the lake as both of them slowly made their way over towards the area that they had first arrived at the Pure Heart Island, where the boats used to go to and from the island were located.

The building that Huang Yongyu had first gone to and bought the map of the Pure Heart Island along with the familiar small boats soon appeared in front of the two.

"What is that huge ship!?" Exclaiming loudly as she pointed towards a large ship several times large than the small boat, they had used to cross the Pure Heart Lake, Qing Yi felt a sense of amazement well up inside her.

The ship was by far the largest one she had ever seen in her life! Though that was because she didn't really live next to a large body of water in the first place'¦ Even then, Qing Yi still felt amazed seeing such a large ship.

"It's likely the one used by the Ghost Howl Sect! We have to be careful'¦" Unlike Qing Yi's amazed expression, Chu Yang instead grew more cautious after seeing the large ship.

From personal experience, he knew very well that there would likely be someone from the Ghost Howl Sect around to guard the ship and he soon managed to spot a few figures dressed in the robes belonging to the Ghost Howl Sect talking to a large bulky middle-aged man with a respectful look on their faces.

The one in charge of defending the large ship?

Coming to this conclusion, Chu Yang turned around to inform Qing Yi about it.

"That is the person who chased after us! Even if I couldn't see him clearly from the top of the hill, there is no way I would mistake him for someone else!"

Listening to what Qing Yi said, Chu Yang suddenly felt like they had found themselves in an extremely troublesome situation.

The person that had chased after them had suddenly appeared in front of them'¦ Did he perhaps understand that they would attempt to reach the small pier at the Pure Heart Lake to escape and wanted to block their path of escape?

Thinking about this, Chu Yang could not help frowning to himself as the person chasing after both of them turned out to be smarter than he had expected!

Now they would have to find a way to sneak past the people from the Ghost Howl Sect, who very likely had some clue about their appearance and at the same time avoid the eyes of the Core Formation Realm Expert'¦

At least Huang Yongyu had already left earlier on, and they didn't have to worry about him getting caught by one of his sect's enemies.

"Should we just try and sneak onto one of the small ships about to leave and reveal our identities if we get discovered by the Ghost Howl Sect?"

As Chu Yang was deep in thought trying to come up with a way for them to get out of their current situation, Qing Yi asked him with a sad look on her face. Clearly not too fond of the idea that they would have to use the influence of their sect to get out safely.

Chu Yang, who had been lost coming up with a way for them to escape their current predicament, was rendered speechless upon hearing Qing Yi's suggestion.

Why did I not think of that?!

Realizing the fact that he had been too caught up with comparing their current situation to back when he had been chased by the Black Rose Sect, Chu Yang could not help smiling wryly.

Compared to back then where he would die if he got caught, the current situation was far less dangerous, as they could always use their background as disciples of the Flying Sword Sect to intimidate the people of the Ghost Howl Sect'¦

Like this, Chu Yang and Qing Yi soon began sneaking their way towards a departing boat. Doing their best to avoid any members of the Ghost Howl Sect along the way.

Moving towards the boat was not really that hard, as they just tried their best to blend in with the surrounding people. Hoping that the few people from the Ghost Howl Sect that saw them would believe that they were just a few wandering cultivators.

At least only the Core Formation Realm Expert would be able to recognise them at first glance!

Having successfully managed to make their way onto the small boat about to depart from the Pure Heart Island, both Chu Yang and Qing Yi collapsed down on a seat in the interior of the boat.

Just as both Qing Yi and Chu Yang were about to relax as they would make their way back towards the Pure Heart City before beginning their journey back towards the Flying Sword Sect, a loud thumb was heard before the door leading into the interior of the small boat was flung open. Followed by two people belonging to the Ghost Howl Sect making their way inside.

"No need to worry, we are just here to check if the people who attacked our sect is present!" One of the two stepped forward and explained. Calming the down the passengers who looked to be a little more on edge after seeing two people from the Ghost Howl Sect suddenly appear.

"So, they are just here to look for the three people who endangered their young master..."

"Three people dared to attack the Ghost Howl Sect's young master? Who was brave enough to do something like that? Don't they know how protective the Ghost Howl Sect is of their young master?!

"Listen here, just a moment ago, someone led an entire horde of blue spiders into the Ghost Howl Sect's expeditionary group heading for the centre of the Pure Heart Lake! It was even said that the one in front even threw the corpse of a royal blue spider towards the young master of the Ghost Howl Sect before running away!"

As the conversation continued among the passengers, Chu Yang and Qing Yi could not help smiling awkwardly at each other as the conversation turned them into someone that was a part of a larger scheme against the Ghost Howl Sect's young master that happened to be present at the scene.

"Chu Yang'¦ Did you really throw the corpse at the young master they are talking about?"

"I think so'¦ I just threw it in a hope that the blue spiders would target them instead of us, I never expected for things to turn out like this!"

Not expecting that he had ended up throwing the blue spider corpse directly at the young master of the Ghost Howl Sect, Chu Yang could not help lament at how unlucky he was.

After all, given what he had done, the young master of the Ghost Howl Sect might completely disregard his background and just outright kill them when he got their hands on them'¦

As Chu Yang and Qing Yi were both trying their best to make themselves blend in with the surrounding passengers onboard the small ship, one of the two people from the Ghost Howl Sect seemed to have discovered something as he slowly began making his way over towards the place where Chu Yang and Qing Yi were sitting.

The member of the Ghost Howl Sect suddenly making his way over towards them. Not only caused Chu Yang and Qing Yi to grow nervous, as the other passengers sitting close to them also began to grow nervous.

Even if they knew that they were not involved with the incident that took place, they still held a certain amount of fear towards a large sect like the Ghost Howl Sect.

After all, for a normal wandering cultivator. Even a small sect would be considered something they couldn't offend.. Let alone a sect like the Ghost Howl Sect that was widely regarded as one of the strongest in the area around the River Sect's territory.
