Chapter 38 - The Shameless One, Future Troubles Of Wang Hu

As Qing Yi was overlooking the boy rolling around screaming in agony on the ground, the surrounding contestants, elders and disciples who came to watch looked at her with a scared expression plastered on their face.

"Number 99 and number 34, go towards stage 1 and get ready to fight!" An elder announced as the boy who beat Wen Lu made his way towards stage number 1.

In front of him was a girl around the age of 17, clearly older than the boy.

The girl had managed to get the third place back at the entrance examination and still did not have a master. This had in turn allowed her to enjoy quite a bit of attention from the older disciples of the sect, as well as some of the elders hoping to take her in as their disciple, she was after all the most talented female disciple among the younger generation.

The spectators looked on weirdly as they wondered how the boy came up with such a cheesy line.

"…" A few black lines appeared on the side of Wang Hu's head as he looked at Xuan Hao and then the boy down at the stage, then he sighed and shook his head a bit before deciding not to argue with Xuan Hao.

"Since you want to fight, then alright… Don't say I didn't warn you!" The girl stepped forward as her clothes fluttered in the wind. Her feet landed softly on the ground, like an otherworldly fairy had descended. The girl was beautiful beyond belief and not as much as a speck of dust managed to come in contact with her as she moved directly in front of the boy.

"My name is Yi Xuan." Yi Xuan came to a stop in front of the boy as she introduced herself.

"Lu Wen!" The boy said his name as he looked at Yi Xuan with a smile on his lips.

"Stage 1, you may begin fighting when ready." The elder in charge of stage 1 said in a slightly annoyed tone as he looked at the two, who looked like they were about to flirt with one another at any moment.

Yi Xuan's eyes shone slightly upon hearing the elder and quickly took a bit more distance from Lu Wen as the sun shone down on her beautiful jade white skin. She almost looked like an immortal goddess in human form as she smiled slightly upon seeing the crowd of people staring at her with eyes full of adoration and awe.
