464 General Guan's Backer and the Frost Devil Sec
Having found the Iron Sky Kingdom under the faction part of the book, Xuan Hao began slowly reading through the long and in-depth description that was attached to it.
Not to mention the fact that Yi Min was far older than he had first expected. Noticing the fact that the Iron Sky Kingdom had built up by her some 2000 years ago…
Outside of the fact that he now knew that Yi Min was someone over 2000 years old, there was no real list of factions that the Iron Sky Kingdom was hostile towards, but Xuan Hao quickly managed to pick up that it was mention that Yi Min had once destroyed over a dozen branches of a demonic sect.
The sect in question, was called the Frost Devil Sect!
Thinking about it, the members of the Frost Devil Sect should have been working together with General Guan to get revenge on Yi Min for destroying so many of their branches in the past!
Now, the only question that remained was…
Why did General Guan work together with members of a demonic sect to attack Yi Min?
Even after reading through everything mentioned in the book about the Iron Sky Kingdom, Xuan Hao still had no clue why a general from the Sky Empire would do something like that.
"Curious about why General Guan teamed up with them?"
Hearing the voice of Yi Min sitting just across him, Xuan Hao turned away from the book in his hand and looked over towards her, just in time to see her finish up the remaining half of the cookie she had been nibbling on when he had arrived.
"Yes, I'm quite curious why a general of the Sky Empire is working together with someone from a demonic sect!"
Nodding his head as he said this, Xuan Hao gazed over towards Yi Min sitting directly in front of him-
Whoosh~
Who in turn quickly cleaned up after having finished the rest of the cookie from earlier.
"General Guan is loyal to one of the many princes of the Sky Empire currently fighting for a chance to become the next emperor. The specific one he serves under is quite hostile to me after I refused said prince's attempt at recruiting me in the past… Hah… And being a prince, he has enough power to get away with cooperating with a demonic sect. Even if it became public knowledge, I doubt it would even affect him…"
Hearing just how petty the prince General Guan served under was, Xuan Hao understood why Yi Min's expression had slowly begun to look a bit hostile.
After all, she had only refused to join him and had never attacked him or anything along that line, yet he had suddenly gotten one of his subordinates to team up with a group of demonic cultivators to kill her…
"Then what about the Frost Devil Sect? There is no way such a strong demonic sect would be able to run inside the Sky Empire without being discovered…"
Having realized that it was likely not a good idea to continue asking about the prince that General Guan served under, Xuan Hao decided to ask about the Frost Devil Sect.
<br/>"The reason for this is actually quite simple, while demonic sects are normally destroyed the moment they appear inside the Sky Empire, the same can not be said for demonic sect located outside the Sky Empire!"
"The Frost Devil Sect is not located in the Sky Empire?"
"Indeed… Even though I don't know where the main sect is located, I'm sure that it's not anywhere inside the Sky Empire! From what I managed to find out, they should be located somewhere in the enormous frozen wasteland at our borders. Now that I think about it, you're Flying Sword Sect should not be too far away from where it is..."
Listening to what Yi Min said, Xuan Hao could not help showing a slightly confused expression before he tried to remember anything he could about the frozen wasteland that Yi Min had mentioned.
If he was not wrong, the Azure Sky Kingdom should be bordering a frozen wasteland of some sort and was struggling with demonic cultivators coming from there and trying to take over their land from time to time… But he had no idea if it was the frozen wasteland that Yi Min talked about…
The reason for this, was that the frozen wasteland located beside the Azure Sky Kingdom had a far worse environment for cultivation compared to the border region of the Sky Empire where the Flying Sword Sect was located.
Xuan Hao could simply not imagine a demonic sect with more than one Domain Lord setting up a sect in a place like that…
However, after thinking about it, Xuan Hao realized that the reason why they would set up a sect in a place like that, was most likely to avoid being found by the Sky Empire. The moment they were found, the Sky Empire would not hesitate to send an army down to erase them…
All of a sudden, Xuan Hao felt like he began to understand the struggles of a demonic cultivator…
"Is there anything else you want to know?"
Having finished her short explanation about the person behind General Guan and the Frost Devil Sect, Yi Min asked Xuan Hao before picking up a brand-new cookie to begin nibbling on from the table in front of her.
"Yes, I actually wanted to hear if I could get a sword made. You are after all a quite renowned blacksmith, and I don't really have a weapon…"
"I understand, here!"

Before Xuan Hao managed to say anything more, Yi Min waved her hand as a beautiful silver sword appeared and floated directly in front of him.
"Consider it a thank you for your help yesterday… Now, is there anything else you want to ask? If its anything about the Sky Empire, you can just look it up in the book I gave you."
"I also wanted to know where to find a Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb or Metal… Really, just any kind of natural treasure should do fine…"
Putting away the beautiful looking silver sword that Yi Min had given him, Xuan Hao did not inspect it for now, as he decided to ask Yi Min about the main thing, he had been concerned about regarding getting the Qi Gathering Formation made in time.
"A Transcendent Grade Natural Treasure? Hm… Let me guess, it's for a formation core?"
"Yes..."
Smiling a bit wryly when he heard Yi Min ask this, Xuan Hao did not really see any reason to hide what he needed a Transcendent Grade Natural Treasure for.
"I see! I do indeed know the location of a Transcendent Grade Natural Treasure, a quite special spiritual herb so to speak… But I would need something in return for telling you it's location!"
"Really!? What do you need in return…?"
Hearing that she did indeed know where to find a Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb, Xuan Hao excitedly nodded his head. Waiting for her to say what she wanted in return for the information about the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb's location.
"Great! Actually, the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb just so happens to be located in a quite dangerous place inside the frozen wasteland and… I was hoping you could try and look around for the Frost Devil Sect for me and help me find the location of their main sect!"
"This…"
Hearing Yi Min's request, Xuan Hao could not help hesitating. No matter what, he had already understood just how strong the Frost Devil Sect was given the fact that they could send two Domain Lords to attack Yi Min inside the Sky Empire.
Even if he found the location of the main sect, he was very likely going to be discovered and would inevitably end up being chased down by the Domain Lords from the Frost Devil Sect!
"Hah… Fine, but I will not be heading there immediately."
Having thought about it and remembering the movement technique he had just received through the system, Xuan Hao decided to agree with Yi Min's request.
"That's fine! As long as you can find the location of their main sect, I will be more than happy! If not for the fact that so many people wanted to destroy my little kingdom, I would have gone to search for them and get the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb myself…"
Saying the last part with no small amount of regret, Xuan Hao watched Yi Min take out a large map before handing it over to him.
"This is a map of the frozen wasteland; the location of the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb is also noted down on there… Though a little bit of advice, be careful when trying to get the spiritual herb, as there should be a guardian demon beast of some sort around it."
"Thank you, for both the sword and the trust."

"At least don't let it go to waste…"
Muttering this to herself as she stared towards the direction Xuan Hao had left in, Yi Min soon stared back outside the window next.
