469 Extorting Fang Shi~
I almost let that old man get away again! I really can't let my guard down around someone like that or I would never be able to stop him from running away!
Thinking this to himself as he had just barely managed to stop Fang Shi with his domain before the other party escaped back into the city, Xuan Hao could not help but curse at the thought of the old man running away like he did yesterday.
Even his future second disciple was not important enough for the old man to stay behind for too long, as he tried running away the moment, he saw that she was safe!

Before Fang Shi even had time to react to his words, Xuan Hao directly used his domains to isolate the area around them. Making sure no one would be able to hear them talking and at the same time making sure that the old alchemist couldn't just run away.
"So… According to our bet, if you won, you would be able to take in my disciple, Qing Yi, as your own… On the other hand, if I won, I would be able to take in your disciple! Is the reason you ran away last time perhaps because you wanted talk it over with your disciple? Hearing Fang Shi mention the thing he originally wanted out of him, Xuan Hao quickly agreed as both his eyes shone for a brief moment.
Saying that he would be fine as long as he could bring out something of equivalent value to their bet, Xuan Hao was essential asking him to show how much he valued his first and currently only disciple!
Given the old man's status, he was sure to have quite a few treasures on him. Not to mention the fact that he might even have some of the natural treasures that he required for the Qi Gathering Formation!
No matter what, the old man would not be able to get away without paying a sufficient price for daring to try and steal away his disciple!
Understanding what Xuan Hao meant, Fang Shi could not help letting out a sigh as he looked over towards the happily smiling Xuan Hao standing in front of him.

Letting out a sigh as he began to regret his bet yesterday even more, Fang Shi could only agree to the other party as he asked this with a reluctant look on his face.

Hearing the long list of rare and precious materials being listed by the other party, Fang Shi suddenly felt his vision go dark for a short moment.
The sheer amount of precious resources Xuan Hao asked for was more than enough to bankrupt a normal Domain Lord! Even someone like Fang Shi, who was far richer than a normal Domain Lord due to his profession, would not easily be able to gather the thing Xuan Hao asked for!

The Seven Petal Sky Flower filled with a dense amount of pure wind qi, while a heavy earthen qi enveloped the Spiritual Dark Metal Ore!
Even though Xuan Hao had already expected Fang Shi to be rich given the fact that he was an old Peak Artisan Realm Alchemist who had been around for hundreds of years, he did not expect the old man to casually pull out two mystic grade natural treasures!
Not to mention that the two mystic grade natural treasures were just what he needed, a wind and metal related mystic grade natural treasure. Now he just needed to go and get the Transcendent Grade Spiritual Herb Yi Min had given him the coordinates to and he could officially begin to set up the qi gathering formation at one of the Shattered Star Peaks.

Watching the old man run away the moment he handed over the last treasure and the domain around them disappeared, Xuan Hao suddenly felt like he should have asked for more. Given how easily the old man handed out those treasurers just a moment ago, he should have a lot more-

As Xuan Hao was just about to pull the escaping Fang Shi back with his domain and ask him for a few more things, his disciple suddenly arrived beside him with a relieved expression.

When extorti- talking with Fang Shi earlier, he not only made sure nobody could listen in, but he also made sure nobody could see what they were doing, as he did not really plan for others to see him what was happening…
So… In the eyes of his disciple and the others looking at him and Fang Shi, it had looked like both of them had disappeared into thin air like the leader of the attackers had just a few moments ago.
This in turn, had caused Qing Yi to grow worried. Not knowing where her master had suddenly disappeared to. Only relaxing upon seeing that her master had reappeared again.
"I just had to talk about something private with Fang Shi. So, I isolated the area around us. Don't worry so much about it."

Seeing that she understood that nothing had happened, Xuan Hao smiled as he ruffled her hair, causing a small blush from her as both of them soon made their way back towards the area beside the gate where the other elders from the Flying Sword Sect were waiting with a few newly acquired demon beast mounts for them to use on their way back.
The only bad thing was the fact that the demon beasts were not flying demon beast. Meaning their way back to the Flying Sword Sect, would most likely take a few weeks longer than expected…
Why was there no flying demon beast available in such a large kingdom like the Iron Sky Kingdom?
Well… It just so happened that most of the demon beasts had been killed by someone over the past few days, their bodies completely drained of blood…
For this reason. Only some of the weaker land demon beasts were still alive, though if they had been any slower, there might not even be a single land demon beast left as well!
Thinking about this, Xuan Hao could not help recalling the tentacle cocoons that had sucked out the blood of its victims to grow strong.
With this in mind, Xuan Hao had a feeling that the recent disappearance of demon beasts inside the capital of the Iron Sky Kingdom most likely had something to do with a demonic cultivator.

Shaking his head as he ordered the rest to move out after seeing that everyone had mounted up on a demon beast, Xuan Hao decided not to get involved in any more of the Iron Sky Kingdom's problems!
At least Yi Min should be more than capable of dealing with something like that by herself, or she would not have been able to rule the Iron Sky Kingdom for such a long period of time!
