502 Information about the Soul Ascension Realm!

Appearing behind the grand elder when he was alone, Xuan Hao barely managed to fit inside the room itself. The rooms of the Half Spirit race were simply not designed for someone as tall as himselfâ¦

"Hello again grand eld-"

"Ah! I-it's you again!"

Caught off-guard by Xuan Hao who had suddenly appeared behind him, the grand elder let out a small scream of surprise before turning around to face him with a nervous expression on his face.

"I hoped that you would be able to answer a few questions of mine that have after I visited the ancient record hallâ¦"

"O-of course! Ask anything and I will do my best to answer!"

"Great! First of all, I wanted to know-"

Proceeding to ask the grand elder about the demon beasts and where they had gotten them from, Xuan Hao learned that there was a large underground cave network below their valley that had several different demon beasts living inside of it. According to the grand elder, some of those demon beasts were even stronger than him!

Given the grand elder's cultivation realm, Xuan Hao guessed that those demon beasts should at the very least have reached the Half-Step Domain Lord Realm. Maybe there was even Domain Lord Realm demon beasts!

As for the things that the past elders of the Half Spirit race had taken out from the ancient record hall in the past, they had been placed in the small town's library, while the more important records found were always protected by the grand elder.

"Would you mind me looking through the records?"

"Not at all!"

Shaking his head, the grand elder quickly took out a large stack of ancient worn-down scrolls before handing them over to Xuan Hao without the slightest bit of hesitation.

Something Xuan Hao had not expected at all. After all, these were supposed to be the most important records of the Half Spirit race! Not something that could be handed over to an outsider like him so casual!

But then againâ¦ He was far stronger than the grand elder and the other party knew that as well. Handing over everything he asked for and not get on his bad side, was obviously the safest choice for him and his town.

"Thank you, I will return them after I finish reading through them."

"Wai-"

Taking the ancient scrolls, Xuan Hao directly left the grand elder's place before the other party had any time to say anything.

I should check out the scrolls that the elders from the Half Spirit race deemed valuable enough to take with them in the past before checking out the underground cave network mentioned by the grand elder!

Thinking this to himself as he arrived at a secluded location away from the small town where the grand elder's home was located, Xuan Hao began looking through the ancient records that the grand elder had given to him.

"Looks like the things gathered by the past elders of the Half Spirit race are indeed quite useful!"

<br/>Muttering this to himself in a happy tone as he read through the first ancient scroll, Xuan Hao felt incredibly excited the more he read through the ancient scroll.

The reason for this was simple, as the scroll itself contained a description of the different cultivation realms. From the Qi Condensation Realm, all the way up to the Soul Ascension Realm.

Not only that, but according to a few notes located at the top of the ancient scroll. There was a high chance that the scroll had been written by someone above the Soul Ascension Realm!

At least that was what Xuan Hao guessed after seeing the writer referring to himself as someone who transcended the mortal realm. Referring to the Qi Condensation Realm to the Soul Ascension Realm, as being the mortal realm. The Qi Condensation being the first step, while the Soul Ascension Realm was the last step of the mortal realm.

Skipping through the lower realms for now, Xuan Hao focused on to the part that was about the Domain Lord Realm. The realm that he himself was currently in.

Reading through the description of the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao came to understand that the most important part about the Domain Lord Realm was to comprehend the laws of the world through one's domain. Inevitably, this would cause one's soul to strengthen, as the soul had already merged together with the domain upon entering the Domain Lord Realm. Something Xuan Hao had already experienced every time one of his two domains grew strongerâ¦

"Hm? Thisâ¦"

Feeling that he already understood most of the things written about the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao was suddenly taken aback when he reached the end of the description of the Domain Lord Realm.

"To reach the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm, you will have merge body, soul, and domain into oneâ¦ In case you have comprehended more than one domainâ¦ You will have to merge the domains together into a single domain before attempting to reach the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm. Taking on the first Tribulation to reach the Soul Ascension Realm without doing so, will result in certain deathâ¦!"

Reading it out loud to himself, Xuan Hao could not help frowning as he felt his ice and sword domain.

How in the world would he go about merging the two together?

Xuan Hao honestly had no clue and for now, it was not something to worry about, as he was still far away from reaching the Peak of the Domain Lord Realm...

Shaking his head as he decided not to think about how to merge his two domains for now, Xuan Hao instead focused on the part that mentioned the Soul Ascension Realm...

Even at this point in time, he didn't really know much about the Soul Ascension Realm other than the fact that people at the Soul Ascension Realm were considered the most powerful people on the Ewaria Continent.

In front of a Soul Ascension Realm Expert, a Domain Lord was not worth mentioning at all!

For this reason, Xuan Hao was extremely interested in finding out more about the Soul Ascension Realm!

"I will finally be able to learn about the Soul Ascension Realmâ¦"

Filled with excitement, Xuan Hao began reading through the ancient scroll's description of the Soul Ascension Realm.

The Soul Ascension Realm was the final stage of the mortal realm and was also the realm at which one began the process of transcending the mortal realm.

During the Soul Ascension Realm, one would have to endure six different soul tribulations. Successfully overcoming the soul tribulation would result in the cultivator undergoing the process of Soul Ascension. Soul Ascension would allow the cultivator to momentarily borrow the power of the world to strengthen their soul and comprehend the dao. Allowing them to rapidly increase their strength. Failing to overcome the tribulation would result in death!

In the end, the writer of the ancient scroll described the process of soul ascension after overcoming a soul tribulation as an opportunity even immortals would die for!

Reading this, Xuan Hao could not help looking forward to the time when he reached the Soul Ascension Realm and underwent his first soul ascension. However, at the same time, he also came to understand just how large the difference between people in the Soul Ascension Realm were.

Someone who had undergone one tribulation and someone who had gone through two were on a completely different level. Even if the difference was only a single minor realmâ¦

"I wonder how many tribulations the ancestor and emperor of the Sky Empire made it throughâ¦"

Remembering that the ancestor of the Sky Empire and the emperor who had both reached the Soul Ascension Realm, Xuan Hao could not help wondering just how far they had gone.

Had they only made it through a single tribulation, or had they made it through more than that?

Feeling curious about this, Xuan Hao soon began reading through the ancient scroll once again. Sadly, the later part that detailed what would happen after one passed through the sixth soul tribulation of the Soul Ascension Realm had been worn-down and was completely unreadable.

The only thing Xuan Hao could make out, was a small paragraph with only the words [Seventh Tribulation] still readableâ¦ Something that only ended up making him even more curious about what happened after someone passed the sixth tribulationâ¦

However, no matter how curious Xuan Hao was, there was no way for him to find out. Unless he suddenly mastered the dao of time and reversed time for the ancient scrollâ¦

"Hahâ¦ Looks like I will have to hope for another scroll with more information on the Soul Ascension Realm in hereâ¦ At least the information about the realms below the Soul Ascension Realm is still fully intact"

Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao shook his head before reading through the ancient scroll's description of the Qi Condensation. Deepening his understanding of the different cultivation realms was key when it came to teaching his disciples!
