Chapter 52 - Bai Hua

The Qing family's estate was enormous and even Xuan Hao's pavilion was slightly smaller than it, though it was not as majestic looking as the pavilion.

Xuan Hao was not surprised by this as several hundred people lived in the Qing Family's estate, while only 3 people lived in his pavilion…

As both him and Qing Yang made their way into the Qing family's house, Xuan Hao was immediately greeted with the curious looks of several people. From young and old people, most likely wondering who he was.

"This is Qing Yi's master from the Flying Sword Sect, Elder Xuan!" Seeing the curious looks from the surrounding people, Qing Yang stepped forward and introduced Xuan Hao to them. Earning quite a few gasps of surprise and excitement.

Even though they had heard about Qing Yi getting a master from the Flying Sword Sect, they expected him to be look older and some didn't believe it fully until they could see it with their own eyes.

"Ah, I see greetings elder Xuan!"

"Greetings elder Xuan."

"It's our honour to be able to host you elder Xuan."

All sorts of greetings came the moment they found out that the young man with their family head, was the rumoured master of Qing Yi, a Nascent Soul expert!

Xuan Hao just smiled at the sudden energetic greetings from the Qing family members.

"Do you perhaps know where Qing Yi is?" Turning to look at Qing Yang, Xuan Hao asked as he tried to move a bit away from the over enthusiastic Qing family members.

"Hm… She should have run to her room if I'm not wrong." Thinking about it for a moment, Qing Yang answered.

"I see." Quickly taking his leave, Xuan Hao decided to just spread out his divine sense and lock onto the position of Qing Yi's aura. This was so much easier than actually trying to ask around for where her room was located.

"Master!" Seeing Xuan Hao suddenly appear outside of her room, Qing Yi was slightly shocked as she quickly recovered and remembered how she had just run away earlier.

"I'm here to ask for when the Annual youth competition will begin tomorrow and how long it will last." Stating his reason for coming, Xuan Hao walked into Qing Yi's room and picked a chair to sit down on.

"Normally, the annual youth competition lasts for around 1 week. The first 6 days are just to get people qualified, while the last day is considered the real finals of the competition. Master can just relax here for the next 6 days as I join the competition and reach the finals, with my current strength, it should not be a problem at all…" Thinking over it, Qing Yi answered with a smile on her lips.

Finally, she would be able to show those people who had doubted her how strong she had become under her master's teachings!

"Sure, I will just ask your father for a room to stay in to cultivate then, I won't disturb you any longer." Seeing the burning passion on Qing Yi's face, Xuan Hao decided to just quietly observe.

This was her time to shine, no need for him to get involved in it…

Time passed by and Xuan Hao spent the next 6 days just quietly cultivating inside the Qing family estate, while Qing Yi joined the competition and easily made her way through the qualifiers, shocking both her father and the rest of her family in the process.

The fact that she had broken through to the Foundation Establishment Realm in a short half year spread through the city and shocked everyone, the Bai family included.

"How did that girl from the Qing family manage to reach the Foundation Establishment Realm in such a short time! Did she perhaps manage to enter the Flying Sword Sect?" A elderly man said as he slammed the table in front of him.

"Calm down, even if she managed to join the Flying Sword Sect, so what? Do you think the Flying Sword Sect would dare fight with the Black Rose Sect over simple outer disciple at the Foundation Establishment Realm?

Remember who Bai Fei's master is! A Nascent Soul expert and grand elder of the Black Rose Sect! No matter what, the Black Rose Sect is still only slightly behind the Flying Sword Sect in strength. The Flying Sword Sect would not want to offend them for a mere Foundation Establishment cultivator and her family!" A middle-aged man called out to the elderly man with a smile on his lips.

"Bai Fei reached the Foundation Establishment Realm as well; we can just let him deal with the girl in the finals of the youth competition. Bai Fei's master is there as well, so nothing can go wrong!" Another man spoke up from the side as well, supporting the middle-aged man.

"I still think that going against the Flying Sword Sect is a bad idea… You all should know how protective they are of their disciples…!" The elderly man tried to warn them again.

"Pft, so what, they won't dare to act against the Black Rose Sect!" A younger member of the people present stood up and arrogantly proclaimed.

"Indeed, if they dare do anything, they will have to deal with the Black Rose Sect!"

"Yeah! They won't offend the Black Rose Sect!"

"Haha, the Flying Sword Sect will surely cower! They are already dealing with the Raging Flame Sect, adding the Black Rose Sect to the mix would spell disaster for them!"

The elderly man slowly stood up and walked out of the room, he knew that he could not convince the younger ones anymore.

The elderly man was the former head of the Bai family, Bai Hua, he had personally experienced the strength of the Flying Sword Sect in the past and did not like the idea of the Bai family offending the Flying Sword Sect.

Even if Bai Fei had the protection of his master, who said the Flying Sword Sect would not just come after he left to erase the Bai family?

Other than that, Bai Hua had felt that the reason the Bai Fei's master decided to help him was not out of appreciation of Bai Fei's talent, but something else.
