"I understand… I will be there as quickly as possible…" Having been informed about the unknown person that had suddenly appeared inside the Flying Sword City by Elder Song, Shu Yao put away her communication talisman before glancing towards the blue deer staring at her from the side with a cautious expression on its face.

How could I forget about this… Deer… Elder Xuan left me to take care of!? Should I take the deer with me when going to the Flying Sword Sect to meet this unknown person that is highly likely from the Sky Empire…?

Giving it over to Feng Chen was not possible at the moment, as he had just recently left the Seventh Star Peak to settle some matters that popped up around the borders of the Flying Sword Sect's current territory.

As for leaving the blue deer in the hands of Zu Fei… No matter how desperate Shu Yao was, there was no way she would dare doing something like that. After all, who could say whether or not the blue deer was still around when she returned…

"Looks like I will have to take it with me…" Muttering this to herself as she realized there wasn't really anyone, she could confidently put in charge of looking after the blue deer, Shu Yao understood that she could only take the blue deer with her when going to meet the unknown person that had appeared in the Flying Sword City.

Now that he no longer had the blue deer to look after, Xuan Hao was no longer as restricted, as he slowly began moving closer to the ancient temple while investigating all the houses and smaller temples along the way.

Entering the ancient temple was still not something that he dared to do, as he was still apprehensive when it came to the existence on top of the ancient temple. However, the same could not be said about any of the buildings and smaller temples located around the ancient temple.

Even if he could not complete the main quest through this, he would at the very least be able to get a deeper understanding of the massive city cantered around the ancient temple. Maybe he could even manage to get his hands on some ancient text still left in the smaller temples located around the ancient temple!

With this in mind, Xuan Hao completely ignored the very clear killing intent emitting from the top of the ancient temple, as he rummaged through the different smaller temples located only a short distance away from the ancient temple itself.

Searching through the smaller temples located around the ancient temple, it did not take long for Xuan Hao to find several different ancient texts and scrolls stored in storage rooms attached to the small temples. However-

Becoming certain that the words from the ancient scrolls and texts inside the small temple and the scroll from the secret realm were the same.

"How is the ancient temple related to the secret realm… Or is the ancient temple perhaps just from the same time as the secret realm?" Muttering this to himself as he looked over the scrolls and texts of the small temple without the slightest clue what was written in them, Xuan Hao could not help feeling frustrated over not being able to read these ancient words.

If he could read them, he would have a way to find out about the ancient temple and just what might have happened to it in the past for it to end up in its current situation.

Not only that, but he would also have a chance to learn about other powers similar to the ancient temple and the secret realm that had existed in the past. Maybe even getting a chance to learn what had caused the downfall of all these strong powers that should have at the very least had Soul Ascension Realm Experts, if not stronger, protecting them…

Knowing that the ancient texts and scrolls might prove useful in the future when he had a chance to learn this ancient language, Xuan Hao used his domain to gather all of them before stuffing all of them into an empty interspatial ring.

Gathering up all the texts, scrolls and books he could find still intact.

However, doing this did not come without any risk, as the person on top of the ancient temple was less than happy to see what Xuan Hao was doing…

Not having any chance to react, Xuan Hao who was about to enter the last of the smaller temples suddenly felt everything around him shaking violently before a terrifying sensation enveloped from head to toe.
