631 Weird Person from the Sky Empire
Breathing out heavily as he stood at the centre of a massive crater that had formed around him, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly as he looked at the sword in his hands still lightly shaking after having collided with the combined power of the three golden palms.

Feeling that the restriction on the space around him had been lifted, Xuan Hao didn't dare stay behind for even a second longer, as he instantly used the Drifting Cloud Steps to move away from the ancient temple.
The last thing he wanted right now, was to endure such an attack again… Not to mention, he had no idea if the next attack would be even more powerful than the last!
If it really ended up being more powerful… Xuan Hao had no idea if he would be able to defend against it, as the Earth Splitting Sword from the Heaven Splitting Sword Art, was by far the strongest technique that he could use at the moment.
"That was… Far more powerful than I imagined…" Muttering this to himself as he glanced towards the place just next to the ancient temple where he had faced the powerful attack, Xuan Hao smiled a bit wryly.
The destruction brought to everything around the ancient temple was simply terrifying, as other than the canyon being turned into some sort of valley, the buildings and smaller temples that had once been standing intact next to the ancient pagoda… Had all disappeared!
The power from the clash between the three golden palms and the Earth Splitting Sword was simply far too powerful, as almost nothing other than the ancient temple had been able to survive. The little rubble and other things that had managed to survive outside of the ancient temple was scattered in a radius of a hundred miles around the ancient temple!
However, this was not all, as a massive crater a few thousand meters wide and close to a hundred meters deep could be seen just next to the ancient temple.
Even looking at it from a distance, Xuan Hao could not help feeling amazed seeing the destruction that had taken place. Not because the destruction was especially devastating, but because the crater and the environment around the centre of the clash had been created by nothing more than the remnant power of the three golden palms and his sword attack.
Almost all of the power rom the two attacks had cancelled each other out, yet the small amount of power that leaked out into the environment had destroyed everything within a hundred-mile radius!
From this alone, it could easily be seen just how powerful a Peak Domain Lord was and at the same time, it also helped Xuan Hao get a better understanding of his own strength.
"But… What was that space restriction from earlier…? It completely prevented me from using the Drifting Cloud Steps or any other movement techniques…" Observing the destruction that had been created around the ancient temple, Xuan Hao could not help frowning to himself. Remembering how he had suddenly found himself almost locked in place, unable to dodge the three golden palms heading down towards him.
Even if he had managed to come out unscratched, Xuan Hao still felt fearful when remembering how he had been unable to properly use his movement technique.
"Is it perhaps because my understanding of space is far too low at the moment that I was unable to escape? Indeed… Compared to the rest of my cultivation, I have indeed neglected increasing my understanding of spatial manipulation. In the future, he would not be helpless to just wait and try his best to endure the attack and would instead have a way to escape the attack without wasting all his energy defending passively like he had just done.
Although he had indeed gotten out without any serious injuries, it would still take some time for his energy reserves to recover again.

The path in question seemed similar to the one followed by the different religious orders, but at the same time also felt different from them, as the power contained in the golden palms seemed purer. No use thinking about this for now. After increasing my understanding of spatial manipulation and mastering the next level of the Drifting Cloud Steps, I will return and find out what power this ancient temple belonged to in the past…
Shaking his head as he stopped trying to draw conclusion from the limited information, he had been able to gather so far, Xuan Hao glanced one last time towards the ancient temple before leaving.
Although he really wanted to check out the ancient scroll that had enraged the entity on top of the ancient temple enough to launch such a terrifying attack, Xuan Hao did not plan on doing it before he had left the Main Peak and had returned to the safety of the Chaotic Qi Formation.

Given that Shu Yao was already familiar with the people from the Sky Empire, it was not hard for her to determine that the person Elder Song had notified her about was indeed from the Sky Empire.

No matter how weird the person sent by the Sky Empire was, she would still have to talk with him. After all, the only reason why the Sky Empire would send someone to the border region of the Sky Empire specially to visit them, would be something related to the sect alliance!
At this point in time, another person should also have arrived at the Seven Fates Sect, as they had also been invited to take part in the sect alliance arranged by the Sky Empire.
