644 Status Update~
"Haaa… Still couldn't find out anything about my background…"
Finished going over the changes that had taken place after he had awakened twenty percent of his physique and experimenting with his new abilities over the next few days, Xuan Hao could not help shaking his head in disappointment.
During his experimentation over the last few days, he had also tried finding out more about his background through parts of the information's he had gained after awakening his Divine Void Eyes… But in the end, all of it had been to no avail.
If he really wanted to find out about his background and where he had come from, it looked like he would have to awaken more of his physique… If even that did not work, he would have to search for answers outside the Ewaria Continent!
Even if he had not paid any mind to his background over the years, Xuan Hao still felt worried deep down. After all, the fact remained that before losing his memories and reaching the Flying Sword Sect, he had been fleeing from something terrifying!

Deciding not to think about his background any further for now, Xuan Hao turned his attention towards the system before deciding to pull up his status for the first time in a long time.

Looking over his status, Xuan Hao could not help feeling disappointed when reading discovering that the system still did not show the name of his physique even after he had partial awakened it.
However, there was still a few things that managed to catch his attention. For one, his winged lion pet had the word lazy added in front of it, while his status had changed to the Grand Elder of the Star Shattering Sect.
How come I had no idea I became a grand elder…?
Shaking his head as he didn't really get anything useful from his status other than finding out about the fact that his pet winged lion had grown lazy during the time, he had left it in charge of defending the Flying Sword Sect, Xuan Hao only thought that he would have to put the winged lion to work in the future.
After all, with most of the Flying Sword Sect leaving for the Seventh Star Peak, there was no longer any reason for the winged lion to stay around in the Flying Sword Sect to defend it now that it was being transformed into a branch sect of the Star Shattering Sect.
It was a much better idea to use the winged lion demon beast for something more useful like helping deal with demonic cultivators that showed up from time to time to cause chaos, deal with rampaging demon beasts that came down from the nearby Burning Mountain Range and other similar things.
The winged lion would become especially useful over the next few years as the Star Shattering Sect finished stabilizing their position and would begin looking to expand to get their hands on more resources and have the ability to recruit more disciples.
"Maybe I should inform Elder Song about this and allow him to use the winged lion to intimidate the nearby kingdoms when he begins the process of expanding the sect in the future…" Muttering this to himself as he thought about Elder Song who would most likely end up as one of the key people in charge of the sect's expansion in the future, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly.
Even after the Flying Sword Sect merged together with the Spring Flower Sect and formed the Star Shattering Sect, Elder Song was not able to escape being put in charge of the management of the sect.
The only difference this time around, was that an older female elder from the Spring Flower Sect similar to Elder Song was now there to work together with him on the management… To be honest, Xuan Hao had felt rather odd upon first seeing this female elder from the Spring Flower Sect due to the fact that she seemed like the Spring Flower Sect's Elder Song…
No idea if it was due to them having been in similar positions before the two sect's merged together, but Elder Song and this female elder ended up becoming rather close friends as they were in charge of the Star Shattering Sect's management.
"Now that I think about it… Was Elder Song perhaps the one who secretly promoted me to a Grand Elder of the sect without telling me about it?" Feeling like he guessed the reason for the change in his status, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly knowing that Elder Song was most likely the person behind his change in status.
Given the fact that he was by far the strongest person in the Star Shattering Sect and one of the only Domain Lord Realm Experts, Xuan Hao did not have anything against the change in his status. After all, it would be weird for him to continue having the same status as the elders in the Nascent Soul Realm.
Even if some of them, like Zu Fei, had improved their cultivation over the years, it was still far from the Domain Lord Realm.
Thinking about it, Shu Yao had also become a Grand Elder like him with her cultivation also having reached the Domain Lord Realm…
"Now that I think about it, Feng Chen Shu Yao and Zu Fei were discussing about me becoming a Grand Elder and had plans to increase my status from a normal core elder at some point in time..." Muttering this to himself, Xuan Hao suddenly remembered the fact that the requirements to become a sect elder had changed to the Nascent Soul Realm, with this in mind, many of the sect's elders below the Nascent Soul Realm would end up getting demoted to Outer Sect Elders.

Shaking his head as he thought about all these elders suddenly learning about their new position through friends and disciples instead of the person who demoted them, Xuan Hao turned his attention towards the ancient book he had gotten as a reward for his first disciple reaching the Nascent Soul Realm.

Taking out the book he had put away just after receiving it as he was more focused on his physique partially awakening, Xuan Hao could not help marvelling at the beautiful exterior of the book, the words [Codex of the First Four Mortal Realms] excluding a certain dao charm that indicated the ancient book had been written by a powerful expert.
Given that even Xuan Hao felt like he had momentarily entered a state of enlightenment and both his domains got closer to merging together after just reading the title of the ancient book, it was certain that the person who had written the ancient book should be someone who had reached an unimaginable realm above the Soul Ascension Realm!
"So powerful…" Not able to stop himself from muttering these words to himself after he regained consciousness again and felt that his ice domain and sword domain was one step closer to merging together, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a shiver run down his spine upon thinking about the how powerful the person who had written the Codex of the First Four Mortal Realms was.
At the same time, it also made Xuan Hao fell even more curious about just what was written inside the ancient book.
The first four mortal realms were the Qi Condensation Realm, the Foundation Establishment Realm, the Core Formation Realm, and the Nascent Soul Realm, Xuan Hao already felt like he understood these four realms and didn't have much more to learn… But then again, given the system had given him the ancient book, it should not be something useless!
