671 Descend of the Ice God’s Sword

Barely managing to control his now massive domain, Xuan Hao forcefully formed a massive pair of ice hands to grab hold of the large body of the demonic cultivator trying to escape before forcing him to the ground.

Understanding that his life was at risk, the demonic cultivator roared angrily on the ground while trying to free himself from the grasp of the massive pair of ice hands formed by Xuan Hao's domain.

Given just how strong the demonic cultivator was, it did not take more than a few seconds for him to start weakening the massive hands formed by Xuan Hao's domain as several cracks began forming all over them. Showing that they would break apart at any moment and free the demonic cultivator.

However, Xuan Hao already predicted this and by the time the demonic cultivator was just about to break free from the giant ice hands, as a massive sword of ice over a dozen meters in height rapidly started forming above the demonic cultivator.

Erupting with even more strength than before to break free from the ice hands, the demonic cultivator's entire body shone in a bright crimson colour as the cracks on the pair of ice hands holding him in place rapidly began expanding before-

Laughing loudly after freeing himself, the demonic cultivator was just about to escape from Xuan Hao's domain when he suddenly looked up and felt a shiver run down his spine.

Having been too focused on trying to break free from the giant pair of ice hands holding him in place on the ground and due to Xuan Hao doing his best to hide the presence of the sword with his domain, the demonic cultivator didn't notice when the massive sword that was now hanging above him filled with killing intent had formed.

Not giving the demonic cultivator any time to react after breaking free from the restraints of the massive pair of ice hands, the ice sword hanging in the air above the demonic cultivator quickly descend. Carrying the power of the perfectly merged ice and sword domain along with it!

"DAMN YOU!"

Using all his strength to form a crimson barrier to block the descending sword, the demonic cultivator could not help cursing at Xuan Hao as he watched the sword hit his crimson barrier.

Barely lasting for a little over a second against the power of the descending sword of ice, the demonic cultivator could not help screaming out in pain as the sword broke through his crimson barrier and directly pierced through his massive body and reached his soul.

"AAAaaAAhHHhhhHHhh-!"

Although the pain he felt only lasted for a short moment before he was killed by the sword, this short moment felt like an eternity, as the pain from having his soul frozen before being cut into a million pieces by the power of the ice sword was far more terrifying compared to any torture he had ever practiced over his long years as a demonic cultivator.

Following the death of the demonic cultivator, the sword no longer had anything blocking its path and directly pierced into the ground below-

Piercing a few meters into the ground, the surrounding area shook violently as everything within a hundred miles of the impact zone was instantly transformed into a frozen hell with anything inside being frozen to death.

The frozen hell created by his attack was not really anything Xuan Hao cared about clearing up as it was located inside the Frozen Wasteland.

Thinking a bit further about it, the frozen hell created by using his first ever personal technique, Descend of the Ice God's Sword, would serve as a barrier preventing the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wasteland from entering the Azure Sky Kingdom and any of the kingdoms close to the Azure Sky Kingdom that similarly bordered the Frozen Wastelands.

In the end, it looked like Xuan Hao had ended up creating a barrier that would keep the Ascendant Frost Hall safe from the demonic cultivators of the Frozen Wasteland by accident...

On one side, this was really not something Xuan Hao expected to happen... But on the other hand, this would give him a lot more time to explore the Frozen Wasteland and look for the reason why the demonic cultivators became so active all of a sudden.

Of course, exploring the Frozen Wasteland would have to wait until he met with the sect master of the Ascendant Frost Hall and got his hands on their unique cultivation mantra for his sect quest!
