705 Thousand Wind Mountains

Passing over the kingdom with the Domain Lord Realm Expert inside of it, Xuan Hao did manage to see what was taking place between the Domain Lord Realm Expert and his subordinates through his divine sense.

However, Xuan Hao did not go down to stop the Domain Lord Realm Expert from using his communication talisman to inform his friends and peers about what he had just been through.

In the first place, Xuan Hao already understood that it was inevitable that his appearance would end up shocking the different powers of the core region of the Sky Empire, whether it happened earlier or later did not matter much to him.

The only thing that worried him a bit, was that some of those different powers might decide to go and investigate the Star Shattering Sect while he was not there to protect it.

Although the main sect was protected by the Chaotic Qi Formation and both Feng Chen and Shu Yao were there to keep the different branches outside safe, Xuan Hao could still not help worrying about something happening while he was gone.

At the very least, Shu Yao and Feng Chen should be able to deal with most of the people that might show up during his time in the capital of the Sky Empire. As for the stronger experts that might show up... The winged lion demon beast should be able to deal with them.

All things considered; the winged lion demon beast was still a powerful demon beast that had reached the later stages of the Domain Lord Realm. The number of people that would be able to fight equally with it inside the Sky Empire was limited. Let alone people who actually had a chance to beat it!

Continuing past the unknown kingdom with the Domain Lord Realm Expert in it, Xuan Hao soon reached the first special location that he planned to visit on his way to the capital city of the Sky Empire.

The place in question was called the Thousand Wind Mountains.

As the name implied, the Thousand Wind Mountains was a large mountain range stretching on for thousands of miles with no end in sight.

Although the Thousand Wind Mountains was a dangerous place that could even be dangerous to Domain Lord Realm Experts in some places, it did not have any powerful demon beast living inside of it.

The reason for this, was the terrifying wind that swept through the place. Not only was the wind dangerous even to Domain Lord Realm Experts in some cases, but it also made it impossible for demon beasts to live in the Thousand Wind Mountains.

The few demon beasts that did live there however, were mostly hidden away in small caves they had dug into the sides of the mountains where they would hide from the terrifying wind outside.

For this reason, the Thousand Wind Mountain ended up becoming a hotspot for special spiritual herbs related to the dao of wind, which could now grow in abundance under the protection of the terrifying wind that constantly swept through the Thousand Wind Mountains.

However, the fact that the Thousand Wind Mountains could produce a lot of high quality spiritual herbs was not an unknown fact... For this reason alone, many Nascent Soul Realm Experts and even Domain Lord Realm Experts ended up visiting the Thousand Wind Mountain every year. Each of them hoping to get their hands on the spiritual herbs growing on the mountains.

Of course, given how deadly the winds inside the Thousand Wind Mountains were, the number of people who ended up dying there every year was staggering and from what Yi Min had told him, there was even a Third Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert who ended up dying in the deeper parts of the Thousand Wind Mountains just a few years ago!

Even if the Thousand Wind Mountains did not have any dangerous demon beasts inside of it, it was obvious that it was still an extremely dangerous place!

Reaching the first mountain, Xuan Hao could not help feeling amazed as he felt the terrifying winds circling around the mountain up close. Even if the wind could not harm him, he could clearly tell that it was more than powerful enough to kill someone at the Core Formation Realm. Even someone who reached the Nascent Soul Realm would have some difficulty defending against the wind there without getting injured... And this was only the outer parts of the Thousand Wind Mountains!

If the outer part was already this dangerous, Xuan Hao could easily imagine just how dangerous the core of the Thousand Wind Mountains would be. After all, a Domain Lord Realm Expert had died in there!

"Hm? The power of this wind is rather erratic... Looks like it should grow weaker in another few minutes... Hm... It should take a few hours after that before it regains its past strength. This should be how those weaker cultivators below the Nascent Soul Realm are able to explore the Thousand Wind Mountains!"

Examining the wind surrounding the mountain in front of him more closely, Xuan Hao did not take long to understand the pattern in which the wind would grow stronger and weaker over different periods of time.

"With this in mind... As long as a Core Formation Realm Expert can enter at the weakest moment, he should be able to explore some of the mountains in the outer region of the Thousand Wind Mountains.

Of course, he could also be wrong and there was a different reason why so many Nascent Soul Realm and Core Formation Realm Experts died inside the Thousand Wind Mountains that he still did not know about.

All things considered, it was still a dangerous location that had caused the death of several Domain Lord Realm Experts over the years. Even if it was one of the more explored dangerous places inside the core region of the Sky Empire, it was far from being fully explored and understood. Especially the deeper parts that was dangerous to Domain Lord Realm Experts...

Well, I should check out the outer regions first to get a deeper understanding of this place before heading to the more dangerous core of the Thousand Wind Mountains. At least I will save quite a bit of time by passing through the Thousand Wind Mountains compared to going around it...

As this thought passed through his head, Xuan Hao glanced over the large mountain in front of him along with the countless other mountains that made up the Thousand Wind Mountains before finally stepping forward to enter the Thousand Wind Mountains.

"Indeed, if we are any slower, we might lose our chance to get our hands on the Windbloom Flower!"

At the same time Xuan Hao made his way inside the Thousand Wind Mountains. Not too far away from where he had entered, a large group of people belonging to different powers were all rushing towards a large mountain where the wind had similarly weakened.

The people here were almost exclusively made up of cultivators in the Core Formation Realm. Only a handful of people had reached the earlier stages of the Nascent Soul realm.

The reason why all of these people from different powers had suddenly gathered together and were about to risk their life, was for a chance to get their hands on single spiritual herb, the Windbloom Flower.

The Windbloom Flower was a spiritual herb that was unique to the Thousand Wind Mountains and the reason why so many people had gathered together and were willing to risk their lives to get their hands on the Windbloom Flower had something to do with this-

"As long as I can get my hands on the Windbloom Flower, I will be able to enter the deeper parts of the Thousand Wind Mountains and harvest the precious spiritual herbs in there without having to worry about anything other than the core area!"

"Hah! Keep dreaming! How can someone in the Third Stage of the Core Formation Realm get their hand of a precious spiritual herb like the Windbloom Flower!?"

"Hmph! You are one to talk? You are also in the Third Stage of the Core Formation Realm!"

Indeed, the Windbloom Flower could protect one against the dangerous wind that was ever-present inside the Thousand Wind Mountains!

All of the people here understood just how much it would mean to get their hands on this flower. After all, if not for the fact that news about it had only recently come out and had only spread among the few nearby cities, they were all certain that a Domain Lord Realm Expert would have long since come over to take the Windbloom Flower for themselves!

Even if it could not negate the most powerful wind in the deepest part of the Thousand Wind Mountains, it would still make it far easier to explore!
