706 Hidden Scheme
Entering the Thousand Wind Mountains, Xuan Hao did not take long to spot the massive group of people that were all rushing towards a mountain located at the edges of the outer region of the Thousand Wind Mountains.
"Windbloom Flower...? How interesting..."
Listening in on the conversations talking place between the different people who were all from different powers, Xuan Hao did not take long to understand why all of them were rushing deeper inside the Thousand Wind Mountains.
Given how precious the Windbloom Flower was, it was understandable why these Core Formation Realm and early stage Nascent Soul Realm Experts were all risking their lives to get their hands on it.
"But... Unfortunately for them, I'm here and I'm also quite interested in this Windbloom Flower!"

Not intending to let something like the Windbloom Flower just get into someone else's hands when it could be useful for exploring the core of the Thousand Wind Mountains, Xuan Hao narrowed his eyes before flying in the direction of the mountain that the large group of cultivators were moving towards.

Reaching the mountain with the Windbloom Flower before any of the Core Formation Realm and Nascent Soul Realm Experts could even get close, Xuan Hao curiously began looking through the entire mountain with his divine sense.
Even if the wind had weakened, it was still more than strong enough to kill someone in the Core Formation Realm if they were even the slightest bit careless.

From a distance, a small flower with pure white petals could barely be seen gently moving as the terrifying wind covering the mountain was slowly absorbed by it.

Moving up the mountain, Xuan Hao carefully looked over the small flower.
Outside of its small size and the fact that it was slowly absorbing the terrifying wind that was ever-present inside the Thousand Wind Mountains, the Windbloom Flower just looked an ordinary white flower.
How can such a small flower help resist the wind in this place...
"Hm?"
About to pick up the Windbloom Flower, Xuan Hao suddenly stopped himself as he rapidly moved away from the small flower with a serious expression on his face. Even if it was just for an instant, he clearly felt a terrifying intent lingering on the Windbloom Flower that he was just about to pick up and take away.
"Looks like this Windbloom Flower is more special than I first thought. Maybe I should allow one of those people to pick it and see what happens..." Although the intent that was there should just be a remnant intent left behind on the Windbloom Flower by some expert above the Domain Lord Realm in the past and he should be able to erase it before anything could happen, Xuan Hao still felt both cautious and curious about why such a powerful expert would attach their intent to a Windbloom Flower instead of just taking it away.
Even if he had no idea why yet, it was obvious that the expert who had left behind the intent on the flower instead of taking it away had some kind of plan for it. Maybe the fact that no Domain Lord Realm Experts had shown up also had something to do with this!

Understanding that he might have accidentally messed up the carefully thought out plan of some powerful expert above the Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao quickly did his best to hide himself as he waited for the group of Core Formation Realm and the few Nascent Soul Realm Experts among them to approach.
If he was lucky, the expert hiding behind the scenes had not managed to discover him as he should be focused on the group of people rushing over…

Not daring to stay around on the mountain with the Windbloom Flower on top of it as the expert in question would likely be paying attention to the place when the group of Core Formation Realm and the few Nascent Soul Realm Experts showed, Xuan Hao moved to one of the mountains not too far away where he could keep an eye on the situation and see what would be happening after someone got their hands of the Windbloom Flower.
Given that the expert hidden somewhere nearby should be waiting for that to happen, Xuan Hao was more than happy to sit on the side and wait to find out what this expert was planning.
At least when considering the effects of the Windbloom Flower, it was obvious that whatever this expert was planning had something to do with the deeper parts of the Thousand Wind Mountains!
With this in mind, Xuan Hao focused his attention on the few Nascent Soul Realm Experts that were present.
As long as nothing unexpected happened, one of them should get their hands on the Windbloom Flower on top of the mountain!

Getting closer and closer to the mountain where the Windbloom Flower was located, three of the First Stage Nascent Soul Realm Experts worked together as they launched a combined attack against the old ancestor from the Wind Sword Family.

Cursing loudly as he was forced to stop and defend against the combined attack of the three First Stage Nascent Soul Realm Experts, the old ancestor from the Wind Sword Family was filled with killing intent.

Not caring about the reaction of the old ancestor, the three First Stage Nascent Soul Realm Experts all charged towards the mountain with the Windbloom Flower on it after having knocked the old ancestor back.
All of them understood very well that there would be no way for them to get their hands of the Windbloom Flower with a powerful old expert like the ancestor of the Wind Sword Family around.
Even if they had a chance to fight him by combining their forces, this would likely not help if the old ancestor got his hands on the Windbloom Flower first and decided to use it to escape into the deeper regions of the Thousand Wind Mountains.

Not long after, the different Nascent Soul Realm Experts all began fighting with each other to prevent anyone from getting to the Windbloom Flower first, as the other party was likely to just escape into the deeper regions of the Thousand Wind Mountains after getting his or her hands on it.

Of course, with the Nascent Soul Realm Experts all busy fighting with each other, the Core Formation Realm Experts were all brimming with excitement as they charged towards the mountain with the flower. All of them understood that they would have a chance to get their hands on the Windbloom Flower, as long as the Nascent Soul Realm Experts continued fighting with each other!
