738 Ancestor of the Feather Kingdom

Passing through the thin black veil that seemed to cover the mouth of the long dead mountain sized creature, Xuan Hao spread out both his divine sense and domain to their limit to be ready for a fight at any moment.

Given how old the body parts were, it was a bit weird for them to still be intact after such a long period of time. However after a quick scan with his divine sense, Xuan Hao discovered that most of the body parts belonged to cultivators who had at most reached the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm, while the weakest had not even reached the Core Formation Realm!
From this alone, it was obvious that the body parts all over the place and the trail leading further inside the body of the mountain sized creature were new. Maybe they even belonged to cultivators in a similar situation as the Core Formation Realm cultivator that had ended up inside the mountain sized dead body!
Thinking about this, Xuan Hao could not help thinking about the roar he had heard just a few seconds ago. Although he could not tell the strength of the creature just from the roar alone, it was obvious that it had something to do with the body parts all over the ground. Perhaps it was even responsible for making the trail of body parts to lure in people like the Core Formation Realm Expert who had moved along the trail to go further inside the body towards the origin of the roar…
Maybe the Core Formation Realm Expert already reached the core of the dead body and is about to get eaten by the creature formed by the Dao of Corruption inside!

After the Star Shattering Sect started rapidly expanding over the past few weeks, the Feather Kingdom was inevitably one of the first to meet with the Star Shattering Sect as it tried expanding the territory under its control.
Normally, this would not have been a problem, as a kingdom at the size of the Feather Kingdom would have no way to resist against a terrifying sect like the Star Shattering Sect that had multiple experts in the Domain Lord Realm… But something that completely changed the situation happened- The ancestor of the Feather Kingdom broke through to the Domain Lord Realm!

Frowning as both her eyes narrowed with killing intent, Shu Yao did not feel the slightest bit of pity towards the ancestor of the Feather Kingdom in front of her.
Even before they had attacked the Feather Kingdom, Elder Song had already proposed several different ways to solve the matter without having to go to war. From the Feather Kingdom becoming a subordinate power to them getting a few years to leave and take what they wanted with them to start a new kingdom somewhere else, Elder Song had tried all sorts of different options before it was decided that they would go to war with the Feather Kingdom for their territory.
