741 Greater Teleportation Formation

Lost in thought as he was thinking about how to return back to the ancient sect to look for the greater teleportation formation, Xuan Hao could not help smiling happily as he suddenly saw two shadows appearing in the distance.

"Looks like I don't have to worry about finding a way back to the ancient sect ruins anymore…" Muttering this to himself as he looked towards the two shadows rapidly approaching him, Xuan Hao understood very well that their appearance meant they had managed to find another way inside the cursed land. Outside of the portal he had destroyed.

For this reason alone, Xuan Hao did not feel the slightest bit unhappy over the fact that there was a high chance that he would soon be swarmed by the shadows once again.

Hearing the sound of someone calling out beside him all of a sudden, Xuan Hao turned towards the young boy who had been quietly standing next to him without saying anything after he had finished his explanation of how he got into the ancient sect ruins.

Not expecting for Xuan Hao to pass them so easily before moving in the direction they had come from, the two shadows momentarily froze mid-air for a few seconds before slowly turning around and chasing after Xuan Hao who had already long since disappeared at this point in time.

Having already left the two shadows far behind at this point in time, Xuan Hao could not help letting out a sigh of relief after spotting a familiar looking gate in the distance.

I wonder where this one leads inside the ancient sect ruins. Hopefully somewhere close to where the other gate was located…

Thinking this to himself as he approached the gate, Xuan Hao glanced down towards the young boy who was currently fully focused on trying to recall everything about the area around the greater teleportation formation he had entered the ancient sect ruins through.

Even if he managed to find his way back to where the gate he had destroyed was located, the most important factor in escaping from the ancient sect ruins was still relying on the fact that the young boy would be able to remember the location of the greater teleportation formation.

Entering the gate and passing through the portal without any difficulties a few seconds later, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing both his eyes as his divine sense swept out to scan everything around him to get a better idea of where he was.

Feeling like the world around him was spinning from suddenly getting picked up and moved in front of the pavilion, the young boy tried his best to calm down before beginning to inspect his surroundings for any clue that might help him remembering what direction the room with the greater teleportation was located.

"This way! I remember passing by the tower over there around 10 or so minutes after I left the room I got teleported into, as long as you follow the road over there, we should be able to reach the room where I first appeared after getting teleported into the ancient sect ruins!"

"So, we should find it as long as we follow the road here…"

Hearing what the young boy said as he looked towards the tower before glancing down at the road located beside the massive tower-

Not wasting any time after having determined what direction to move in, Xuan Hao picked up the young boy before using a movement technique different from the Drifting Cloud Step to move along the road that the young boy had told him to follow…

Coming to a stop only a few seconds later in front of a small house, Xuan Hao could not help narrowing both his eyes upon feeling the stability of space around him having reached a level where it was impossible for him to disrupt it.

Entering the room just after Xuan Hao had dealt with the shadowy figure, the young boy could not help exclaiming in surprise upon seeing the pile of dead snakes.

The senior dealt with these scary snakes so easily, I wonder how strong he is… Perhaps he really is someone who has reached the Soul Ascension Realm!

Filled with both fear and awe as he thought about this, the young boy quietly sat down at the ground as he watched Xuan Hao moving around the room while inspecting the different ancient symbols all over the place.
