757 Hidden Sect and... System Malfunction...?

Different from the rest of the people present, he very clearly understood that Xuan Hao was not someone in the Seventh Stage of the Domain Lord Realm but someone even stronger than that!

As the visits from the main sect decreased, the branch sect slowly transformed from a branch sect into an independent sect that operated on its own.
According to what his master had told him back then, the last visit from the main sect that had hidden away had happened when his master was still young elite of the sect who was working hard to become the sect master.
"If I'm not wrong, master said that the person who came to visit from the main sect back then was covered in blood all over and only stayed for a few seconds before leaving again…"
Muttering this to himself, the old man let out a sigh as he thought about his master. Seeing one of the old men in the Peak of the Nascent Soul Realm having collapsed drunk on the ground after having allowed the alcohol to take effect, the old man could not help flaring up at the shameful display.

At the same time that the old man at the Sixth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm felt troubled with the behaviour of the old people in his group, Xuan Hao was once again standing in front of the gate leading inside the capital city as he wondered where to go first.
On one side, he really wanted to find out more about the imperial palace and what kind of power that the imperial family might be hiding… But on the other side, he also felt curious about the noble families that only existed inside the capital city yet had a terrifying influence across the Sky Empire that almost rivalled that of the three big religious organisations!

Hearing a loud voice yelling out all of a sudden interrupting his train of thought, Xuan Hao could not help showing a shocked expression on his face as he suddenly saw a large carriage charging through the busy streets of the capital city. Almost hitting close to a dozen people within the span of only a few second!
If not for the fact that pretty much everyone here had reached the Foundation Establishment Realm, it was obvious that they would not have had enough time to jump out of the way as the carriage was far faster than the ones used by mortals… And that is not mentioning the demon beast in front pulling the carriage forward.
