758 Noble District
Following behind the young master from the hollow Thunder Family as he made his way through the busy streets, Xuan Hao could not help feeling admiring the people standing in the way of the carriage who always somehow managed to jump out of the way just in time before the demon beast in front of the carriage hit them.
Given his current cultivation base, it was easy for Xuan Hao to see the situation of the carriage that the third young master of the Hollow Thunder Family was inside of.
However even with this in mind, he could not see anything out of place and only saw a young boy in the Foundation Establishment Realm anxiously looking all over the place as if he was about to face a life and death situation.

Seeing the situation of the young boy anxiously pacing around inside the carriage that was moving through the busy streets of the capital, Xuan Hao could not help feeling curious as to just what it was that had caused the system to issue a quest to him...
Keeping an eye on the young master of the Hollow Thunder Family to see if he did anything, Xuan Hao kept following the carriage for close to half an hour before it finally came to a stop in front of a large gate with two guards at the Nascent Soul Realm standing in front of it.
Not a second later, the young boy that had been anxiously pacing around inside the carriage made his way outside before showing off a small token to the guards suspiciously inspecting him as he approached them.
"Hollow Thunder Family!? Hm? I didn't expect to see a young master of the Hollow Thunder Family at the southern gate! Is there perhaps anything I can help w-"
"Don't waste my time and just open the gate, I'm in a hurry!"
"Ah? Ah! Yes, of course young master!"
Hearing the aggressive tone of the young boy, the Nascent Soul Realm Expert narrowed both of his eyes for a short moment after being treated so badly before quickly showing a smile and signalling for the other guard to open the gate.
From an outside perspective, it was very clear that this guard was not the slightest bit pleased with the behaviour of the young master... But in the end, there was nothing he could do about it.
Not only was the Hollow Thunder Family a noble family, but it was also one of the most powerful noble families in the Sky Empire. The patriarch of the Hollow Thunder Family was even rumoured to be close to reaching the Soul Ascension Realm!
With his strength having reached the Seventh Stage of the Nascent Soul Realm, there was no way for him to offend such a terrifying power. All he could do was push down his displeasure after being disrespected by a little boy who only reached the Foundation Establishment Realm and hope that the little boy would not end up finding trouble for him in the future...

Narrowing both of his eyes as he examined the qi gathering formation covering the noble district, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a hint of admiration for the formation master who set up the qi gathering formation.
Although the formation was of worse quality compared to the one he had been given by the system, the formation itself was still something that Xuan Hao had no way to make with his current understanding of formations.
Even if the area covered was smaller and the formation itself looked far less stable, Xuan Hao still understood just how hard it was to construct a qi gathering formation. The only reason he had been able to set up a qi gathering formation in first place, was due to the help of the system!

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Xuan Hao turned his attention back towards the carriage with the young master of the Hollow Thunder Family.
"Let's go! We can't waste any more time here!"
After the gate had opened up, the young master poked his head out of the side window of the carriage before hurrying the person controlling the carriage to start moving.
"Yes, young master!"
Hearing what his young master said, the person only nodded his head respectfully before the carriage soon started moving inside the noble district.
The only difference was that the carriage was moving far slower compared to before.
Obviously, the carriage driver understood that the people inside the noble district were not people that could be easily ignored like the people walking the busy streets outside.

Not even a few seconds had passed since the carriage entered the noble district before the large gate separating the noble district from the rest of the capital slowly began closing.

Not to mention the fact that there wasn't anyone at the Domain Lord Realm guarding the entrance with their domain to prevent anyone in the Domain Lord Realm from entering, there wasn't any other formation outside of the qi gathering formation set up around the noble district.
Because of this, anyone with a cultivation in the Domain Lord Realm would be able to easily enter the noble district without being discovered by the guards who were only in the Nascent Soul Realm!
Feeling that this was rather odd, Xuan Hao soon discovered why this was the case as he saw a large estate located not too far away from the gate.
Not only was the estate surrounded by a large wall that made it hard to look at what was happening inside, but Xuan Hao also discovered that the estate had a dozens of different formations protecting it from anyone entering.
Even Xuan Hao with his current cultivation base would properly not be able to enter it without getting discovered by one of the formations covering the large estate!
The rest of the estates and buildings inside the noble district were the same, as all of them were guarded by their own formations, the larger estates and buildings owned by powerful noble families were covered in far better formations, while the weaker noble families barely had one or two defensive formations protecting their buildings...
From this, it was obvious that the noble families did not cooperate as much as the qi gathering formation covering the noble district had first suggested...

Given that he was inside the noble district of the Sky Empire and that there should be quite a few powerful experts at the Domain Lord Realm present, Xuan Hao didn't dare to carelessly release his divine sense to keep an eye on the young master of the Hollow Thunder Family. Especially considering what he had experienced after he released his divine sense after having entered the capital city...
