781 Use of the Necklace

Using the opportunity when the guard captain was forced back by the blood red crystal exploding in front of him, the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert dashed back towards the ruins of the restaurant that directly below him.

Not to mention the fact that the formation might be closely watched by the ancestor of the imperial family at the moment, the crack in the guardian formation was created through an extremely unstable spatial channel that connected to a location far away from the capital city itself.

Only someone in the Soul Ascension Realm would be able to pass through the unstable spatial channel without any issues, a Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert like himself would risk his life by going through such an unstable spatial channel, something he would never dream of doing unless his life was on the line!

"Hm!? This is- What happened to the formation stabilizing the spatial channel and the crack in the guardian formation!?"

However after reaching the small underground space where the crack in the guardian formation had been hidden away, the face of the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert went pale as he discovered that the formation that had not only kept the crack in the guardian formation hidden, but also helped stabilize the chaotic spatial channel had disappeared!

Looking into the chaotic mess in front of him that was the deadly spatial channel leading out of the capital city, the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert understood that his plan of escaping through the spatial channel was gone.

The only chance of him staying alive at this point in time was if the guards of the capital city set him free and allowed him to live. Not something he expected would happen considering how much destruction he had caused in the capital city and the fact that he was related to the matter of the demonic cultivator sneaking inside the capital city.

Considering that one of the cardinals from one of the powerful religions had almost died to the demonic cultivator that had entered the capital city. Even if the guards somehow allowed him to leave with his life, the Followers of the Fire God and their cardinal was sure to come after him…

"Looks like I can only take the chance and hope the goddess of fortune is on my side…" Muttering this to himself as he looked toward the chaotic spatial channel leading out of the capital city that seemed to grow more and more unstable with each passing second, the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert pushed down his fear as he entered the spatial channel with a determined look on his face.

Either he died in the spatial channel or made it out alive, there was no way he would let others be the one to decide his fate for him!

As the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert disappeared inside the spatial channel, the guard captain and a few other Domain Lords appeared inside the underground space where the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert had been standing only a second ago.

"Looks like he escaped… But at least we managed to find the crack in the guardian formation that the demonic cultivator used to sneak inside."

"Indeed… But from the looks of it, that person dismantled the formation and took away anything precious before leaving. Even the spatial channel has been messed up to prevent us from following. To think this guy planned out everything so well as to not leave a single clue behind as to who he was or what power he was from… Truly a master!"

"Yeah, he knows what he is doing… Let's hope we don't encounter someone like that again in the future…"

Inspecting their surroundings, the group of Domain Lords together with the guard captain could not help feeling shocked as they talked amongst themselves.

In their eyes, everything from the lack of a formation to conceal the crack in the guardian formation to the already chaotic spatial channel was all something that had been planned out by the Sixth Stage Domain Lord Realm Expert for his escape from the capital.

The fact that he had not only escaped, but also dismantled the formation and taken everything with him before preventing them from following after him was worthy of praise. Even if he was their enemy!

"Let's go back and report this  so the crack in the guardian formation can get fixed as quickly as possible… Two people should remain behind to guard this place in case something happens."

Seeing that they wouldn't be able to catch the person that had caused trouble, one of the older experts present spoke up as he soon turned to leave together with most of the other Domain Lords, two powerful Domain Lords who had reached the Sixth Stage and Fifth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm staying behind.

The matter that took place today was sure to cause waves in the already turbulent capital that had yet to calm down after the matter with the demonic cultivator that had only taken place a few days earlier.

Not caring about what happened after he had dismantled the formation used to hide the crack in the guardian formation and had gotten his hands on the natural treasure that was acting as the core of said formation, Xuan Hao curiously inspected the Transcendent Grade Natural Treasure in the shape of a necklace in a small deserted part of the capital with no people around to disturb him.

Inspecting the small necklace shaped natural treasure for the next few minutes, Xuan Hao soon discovered the use of the natural treasure as he injected a part of his qi into it.

The moment he injected his qi into the necklace, Xuan Hao felt a faint and almost untraceable energy gushing out from the small necklace before it covered him and hid his presence to a degree where even someone in the Domain Lord Realm would find it hard to find him unless the other party was standing right next to him!

"A natural treasure for concealment… Not unexpected considering what it was originally used for, but still a bit disappointing…" Shaking his head as he found out the use of the natural treasure, Xuan Hao could not help feeling a bit disappointed as he looked at the small necklace.

Even though he had already expected for the use of the natural treasure be something related to concealment, he was still disappointed when he found out that the only use of the natural treasure was to conceal his presence.

Although the concealment ability of the small necklace might even be strong enough to hide him from someone in the Soul Ascension Realm, Xuan Hao would have been far more happy with an offensive type natural treasure he could have used for fighting or an auxiliary one he could have used to improve his strength…

Just as he was about to put away the necklace, Xuan Hao discovered that other than hiding his presence and concealing him, the necklace also had another use-
