789 Day of the Sect Alliance Meeting

"That was easier than I expected…" Making his way back towards the Star Shattering Sect, Feng Chen could not help muttering this to himself as he turned to look back towards the group of experts from the Sky Empire that had been so polite to him.

To be honest, when he chased after the demonic cultivator and got closer to the border of the Frozen Wasteland where the people from the Sky Empire were busy doing their best to prevent the demonic cultivators from passing through, Feng Chen had felt a bit nervous about encountering the Domain Lord Realm Experts from the Sky Empire. Not knowing how they would react to an unknown Domain Lord Realm Expert suddenly appearing out of nowhere...

But… In the end they were far more polite and respectful than he had expected. Even more surprising was the fact that they had met Xuan Hao on their way to the border of the Frozen Wasteland and learnt about the Star Shattering Sect from him.

The main reason why they were not too surprised when I first appeared should be because of what Xuan Hao said to them… How wonderful, it looks like Elder Xuan already managed to establish some friendly relationships with the people from the Sky Empire!

Shaking his head as he thought about this, Feng Chen secretly smiled to himself as he sped up in the direction of the Star Shattering Sect.

Now that the matter of the demonic cultivators had been solved, he could return to the sect and allow Elder Song to send out some of the disciple to help clean up the demonic cultivators that had made their way into the Azure Sky Kingdom.

If the demonic cultivators present in the Azure Sky Kingdom were not enough, he could always start sending them into the kingdom located beside the Azure Sky Kingdom.

Considering how many demonic cultivators were present from what little he had observed while chasing after the demonic cultivator just now, the people from the Sky Empire should be more than happy with a little help in cleaning up those demonic cultivators.

After Feng Chen returned to the Star Shattering Sect and informed Elder Song about what had happened , it did not take long before Elder Song took the lead in gathering disciples to fight with the demonic cultivators.

The main attraction for these disciples being the different rewards such as precious artifacts and spiritual herbs they would be able to obtain after killing the demonic cultivators.

Of course, this was outside the precious things that the demonic cultivators were already carrying on them!

As for the elders who were supposed to protect them and help deal with the more powerful demonic cultivators that had made, they way through the experts from the Sky Empire… Elder Song had already dealt with this matter a short time after Feng Chen had left the sect.

During this exercise, Elder Song also took the opportunity to allow some of the branch disciples to join in on fighting the demonic cultivators.

The only difference between them and the disciples from the main sect, was that they would not be able to gain any treasures or spiritual herbs from killing the demonic cultivators… Instead, they got a chance to enter the Core Sect if they performed well!

For these branch disciples, a large part of them were composed of those who had failed to enter the Star Shattering Sect in the past and were forced to instead move to one of the branch sects hoping that they would be able to enter the Star Shattering Sect in the future.

For this reason alone, the few branch sects that had just recently been established went crazy with excitement. Soon enough, the branch disciples formed all sorts of tournaments on their own without the help of anyone. Wanting to determine who would be able to get the chance to join the Star Shattering Sect.

Seeing as this happened, Elder Song who had originally only wanted to invite a few of the branch disciples as an afterthought could not help feeling surprised before contacting the elders of the different branch sects to help out the disciples in handling these sudden tournaments that sprouted up everywhere inside the branch sects of the Star Shattering Sect.

To make sure everything went smoothly for these branch disciples, Elder Song even went out of his way to send a few spiritual herbs and artifacts that could be used as rewards during these tournaments by the branch disciples.

At least this way, the branch disciples who were weaker would also join in and get a chance to win something if they gave it their all.

In the end, this matter would last for a little over a week before a winner from the different branch sects could be chosen.

However, considering just how many demonic cultivators were present in the kingdom adjacent to the Azure Sky Kingdom, Elder Song was not the slightest bit worried about the demonic cultivators getting killed off before these tournaments ended and the branch disciples could get a chance to participate in cleaning up the demonic cultivator.

The main reason for this, was that even if the elders from the Star Shattering Sect he had sent over gave it their all in cleaning them up, it would still at least take two month. Maybe even three months for them to clean up all of the demonic cultivators!

Even if someone like Feng Chen in the Domain Lord Realm and the experts from the Sky Empire helped out, it would still at least take a month… With this in mind, there was more than enough time for the branch disciples to hold a week long tournament!

At the same time that the branch disciples were getting ready for their tournaments and the disciples of the Star Shattering Sect were getting ready to fight with the demonic cultivators, Xuan Hao slowly opened his eyes as he looked out at the sun hanging high in the sky above the capital city of the Sky Empire through the window next to him.

"It's time…" Muttering this to himself as he turned to look at the crowd of people compromising of the different representatives from different independent sect that had gathered in front of the entrance to the inn, Xuan Hao casually inspected everyone there before finding Xu Bao and the rest of the Domain Lords standing in the front of the group talking to each other about something.

Swish~

"-And I really think we should-

"Good morning, everyone."

"Ah!?"

Appearing in front of the Domain Lords before saying this before they had enough time to register his presence, Elder Scarlet flame who had been talking unintentionally let out a surprised sound as he turned to look towards Xuan Hao who had suddenly appeared out of nowhere with a shocked expression on his face.

"Haha! Looks at you! To think a Domain Lord would get scared so easily! Haha, this is a first!"

"Shut it you little brat! At least I'm not the same height as an eight-year-old!"

"Wah- YOU!"

"Senior! It's great to see you." As Elder Scarlet flame had was almost about to start fighting with a small old man in the Domain Lord Realm who was no taller than a kid, Xu Bao had already walked over forcefully knocked of them to the ground with his domain before smiling as he said this without looking towards the two people that had been smashed into the ground by his domain.

"Ah, the feeling is mutual. Are we perhaps going to leave for the meeting immediately? From what I know, there should still be a few hours before we are supposed to be there."

Deciding that it would be best not to pry into what had just happened to the two Domain Lords that had been transformed into human pancakes under the pressure of Xu Bao's domain, Xuan Hao just asked about the meeting.

"Oh, that? I guess I forgot to tell you yesterday, but we are planning to get to the meeting some time before it starts. The main reason for this is due to many of the sects, as you already know, are not too friendly to us independent sects.

Even if we have senior around to help us out, I'm almost one hundred percent certain that they would try to block our way inside the meeting or prevent us from even reaching the meeting in the first place. After all, most of the more powerful sects are supported by kingdoms with experts in the later stages of the Domain Lord Realm…"

"I see… That is understandable…"

Nodding his head as he heard what Xu Bao said, Xuan Hao felt that it was reasonable for them to go early and not end up getting stopped midway by a group of random Domain Lords who wanted to prevent them from joining the meeting.

Although he was more than strong enough to chase away anyone who would show up to try and stop them, he didn't want to show off his true strength and wanted to keep the illusion of him being in the Seventh Stage of the Domain Lord Realm for the meeting.
