835 The Two Domain Lords

Descending towards the island where the two Domain Lords fighting with each other were located, Xuan Hao could not help wondering what had caused them to start fighting.

The Sky Empire did not allow Domain Lords to kill each other because losing a Domain Lord would end up weakening the overall strength of the Sky Empire. Not lacking behind the Domain Lord filled with killing intent, the Domain Lord that had been identified as someone called Lord Windfall, gathered his power together into a similarly powerful attack before charging forward to meet his opponent.

As the two clashed with each other at the centre of the small island, the impact of their fully powered attack was more than enough to sink part of the island, while also sending out a powerful shockwave that swept over the part of the island that had yet to sink into the water. Killing any cultivators and demonic beasts unfortunate enough to still be present on the small island.

The ships moving around on the lake not too far away from the small island were also affected by the shockwave, but due to the shockwave having weakened after travelling quite a distance from its origin, the cultivators present on these ships ended up surviving. At most one of the ships would roll over, causing everyone on board to get thrown into the water.

Realizing that his opponent was risking his life to use a forbidden technique to kill him, Lord Windfall could not help showing a panicked expression on his face, as he yelled loudly towards the other Domain Lord. Also known as Elder Green Wing. In a last-ditch effort to get the other party to stop what he was doing.

The main difference between the two methods being the fact that one was archived through a forbidden technique that burned through one's source of life and future potential, while the other was using the power stored inside a talisman to increase one's strength for a short moment.
