905 Gathering of Elders in Front of the Sect Gate



Not aware of the dangerous situation that his disciples had once again found themselves in, Xuan Hao continued exploring the Main Star Peak without the use of his divine. Finding more of the strange tree structures scattered all across the Main Star Peak, each with their own unique offering placed beside them.

However, even after finding more of the strange tree structures, Xuan Hao still did not manage to find any that had been damaged enough for him to try and grasp the interior situation of the strange trees. All he could do was observe the blank outer shell that remained completely immune to any attack he tried to use.

Even when he had tried to attack a practically large crack on the most damaged one among the structures, he still did not manage to do any damage to the strange tree. On the other hand, he ended up getting hit by part of the attack that was reflected by the strange tree.

Although he could block most of the damage from the attack, it had still resulted in him not using his full strength to test out the strange tree structures. After all, his full-strength attack was more than enough to injure himself.

"Should I just leave the Main Star Peak alone for now?" Muttering this to himself as he gazed down towards the decaying pieces of talismans paper located beneath yet another strange tree, Xuan Hao felt that he would be better off leaving the exploration of the Main Star Peak for later. The main reason behind this being the fact that he had still not managed to find anything other than the strange trees… And given how big the Main Star Peak was, Xuan Hao did not really feel like dedicating the next five or ten years to fully searching it for the possibility of encountering a strange tree that had been damaged to a degree that he would be able to break it apart.

On the other hand, it would be far more effective to use this time to increase his strength. Maybe returning after he managed to reach the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm to see if he would be able to find out more about the strange trees was the best option for now…

Turning away from the strange tree with a brand-new kind of offering beneath it, Xuan Hao began making his way back towards the Star Shattering Sect. 

All things considered; he had managed to get a lot out of his trip to the Main Star Peak this time around. Not only did he manage to break through to the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, but he had also managed to comprehend a brand new dao, the Dao of Fire. Allowing his dao domain to grow more stable with the addition of an additional dao.

Outside of this, he had of course also managed to gain a deeper understanding of just how rare the Dao Domain Lord Realm was from the reaction of the remnant soul of the demonic cultivator. If his guess was not wrong, the Dao Domain Lord Realm should not be a realm that existed in the current era.

Instead, it looked more like there was only the Soul Ascension Realm. Of course, outside of this, there still existed the True Demon Realm for demonic cultivators and a similar realm for the followers of the different gods.

The main difference between the two and the Soul Ascension Realm being that Xuan Hao still didn't know how they would surpass their respective realms and ascend to the realm above the Soul Ascension Realm.

Would they have to go through the immortal soul tribulation like those in the Soul Ascension Realm? Or would they have to go through something completely different?

No matter what the answer was, Xuan Hao was certain that it should not be any less dangerous than the immortal soul tribulation. 

After all, if it was easy to accomplish, there would be far more powerful demonic cultivators and followers of the different gods… But at the moment, it seemed like normal cultivators following the path of transcending the immortal soul tribulation was far more common.

Lost in his own thoughts thinking about the three different cultivation paths, Xuan Hao arrived back at the Star Shattering Sect just in time to see a large group of elders gathered at the entrance of the sect. Looking like they were about to leave at any moment. 

The main thing that caught Xuan Hao's attention about these elders was the number of elders. Not to mention Peak Core Formation Realm Elders, just the number of Nascent Soul Realm Elders present exceeded twenty.

If it was just when the Star Shattering Sect had settled down on the Shattered Star Peak, this could be considered all of their Nascent Soul Realm Experts. Even if things had changed from back then, the number of Nascent Soul Realm Experts present still made up over a third and close to half of the total Nascent Soul Realm Experts present in the entire Star Shattering Sect! 

Hm? Isn't that Elder Song and the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race? 

Spotting the familiar figure of Elder Song talking to none other than the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race not too far away from where the large group of elders were gathered, Xuan Hao could not help smiling wryly to himself. Understanding that all of this had something to do with Elder Song.

As for what it was about, Xuan Hao decided to descend down towards the base of the Ninth Star Peak where the main entrance of the sect was located, and the large number of elders had gathered together.

"Hm? Who is- Ah!? G-Grand Elder!?"

"It's Grand Elder Xuan!"

"Why is he here?" 

"Maybe he is also going to join in on the offensive against those major kingdoms?"

"No way, Elder Song would not have gathered so many of us if that was the case…"

Following Xuan Hao's sudden appearance, the elders all focused their attention on him as they began excitedly talking with each other about why he had suddenly shown up.

"Greetings, Elder Song, Grand Elder, it's been some time since we last met. How are you doing in the sect?" Ignoring the elders excitedly looking towards him while chatting with each other, Xuan Hao directly went over to greet Elder Song and the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race.

"Xuan Hao! It's great to see you, Song Jia has been asking about you since she knew you returned to the sect a few weeks ago. How about taking a few hours to teach her together with your disciples before leaving again? I'm sure that would make her happy."

The first to respond to his greeting was not the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race that his question had been directed towards, but instead Elder Song, who happily told him about how Song Jia had been asking about her spending more time together with him and his disciples.

"Sure, I will make some time and also ensure that my disciples take care of her when I'm gone. My newest disciple is also new to the sect and should be more than happy to make a new friend." Considering that Song Jia likely did not have any other friends in the sect outside of his disciples, Xuan Hao agreed with Elder Song's request. In the first place, he would not really lose anything by doing this and it would also be a good way to help Mui get adjusted to the sect through someone other than just his disciples.

"Greetings, Grand Elder Xuan. It's been some time since our last meeting, I have been doing quite well in the sect and so has the rest of the people from my sect, I even feel like reaching the Domain Lord Realm is now within reach!" Not following too far behind, the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race showed a grateful smile as he said this.

Since entering the Star Shattering Sect, the Half Spirit Race had indeed been doing well, a lot of their members experiencing a massive increase in strength, some of their Nascent Soul Realm Experts even breaking through a minor realm or two over the past few years. A speed that had been impossible before they left their small, isolated valley and entered the Star Shattering Sect.

Hm? Looks like the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race is indeed close to reaching the Domain Lord Realm!

Using his divine sense to analyze the current state of the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race following what he said, Xuan Hao could not help showing an approving smile on his lips.

Even if the Grand Elder of the Half Spirit Race had not yet reached the Half Step Domain Lord Realm, Xuan Hao still managed to sense that a pseudo domain had already started forming!
