EPILOGUE

MIRELLA

TWO YEARS LATER...

"So?" Noah asks excitedly and stands up when I come out of the bathroom. Swallowing, I walk towards him and look up.

"What's he saying?" he asks hopefully, cupping my face in his hands.

"You're going to be a father..." I breathe softly and hold out the test that I've hidden behind my back.

We're finally having a baby... We really wanted to have a baby right away, but then we thought it might be better to wait until after the wedding, which is finally the case. We got married almost six months ago and now the time has finally come.

"Really?" he asks, taking the test from me. He looks at it intently, then turns away from me and stares at him.

He couldn't wait to finally see a positive test. I was worried that I might be infertile because the first few times showed a negative result, but everything is fine now.

"Noah..." I mumble and grab his arm. What's wrong with him all of a sudden?

Crying, he turns to me and pulls me into a hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" he whispers in my ear several times and kisses my cheek.

He doesn't have to thank me for that. It was clear from the start that we wanted a baby together...

"I'm looking forward to the child. We need to start planning immediately and we need to celebrate that. The ball is in front of the door again. Everyone should find out there. I'm sure they will all be happy about it. Especially Shadow and Demon. She will treat our child as her own."

Smiling, I nod and think about Shadow and Demon. The two have been eager to finally see a baby from Noah and I for almost a year. They really want to be uncles... and they're not even Noah's brothers, but whatever. My family doesn't want to see me, so I'm glad my kids will have uncles like Shadow, Demon, and Fernando. I can't wait to tell you about it.

"Shall we tell Demon and Shadow already? And we have to let Fernando know too. He'll kill us if he doesn't know first." I say excitedly.

I absolutely have to write to the three of them and tell them to come over. Fernando has been living here in Florida for almost a year now and that's because he met someone new. Grace is her name. she is so amazing I couldn't imagine a better woman for him. He gave up the mafia and now its members are part of our mafia. He just doesn't feel like working anymore and wants to finally enjoy his life. He could still have children with Grace. Fernando is only 35. I'm sure they could have a few more kids if they really want to stay together.

"Fernando should be the first to know. Let's go and tell him."

Yes that is a good idea.
