Chapter 11 Met her ex
“So…are you comfortable? ''Ira asked Olivia, who was busy getting ready. She was a makeup girl in the past. She was never so timid or the good kind of girl. All her friends at school knew she was feisty. So crazy that she swore it was the reason Luciano chose her as his girl. Being the only girl in the family. Olivia was spoiled more than her little brother
looking at herself, she blinked blankly knowing she had to look her best… the dress Pedro decided for her fit just the right way.
“The heels…can you walk!” Ira kept asking her questions while he inspected her. Of course, Olivia didn't say anything. Yes, she couldn't walk in the beginning, but she was fine now. H
“I'm okay…is Pedro ready?” she said, nodding as she fixed her short black curly hair. Getting used to her new face and hair wasn't easy…at some point she thought she was staring at an entirely different person. Like it wasn't her body and her soul was just renting.
“He's downstairs with Zane,” Ira said and walked up to the dressing mirror. She stared at me for a good amount of time while I worked on some gold earrings and a matching necklace, which looked beautiful on her.
“It's done…I'll get going, since I don't have to show we were together…”Ira said, getting her purse and phone from the table and walking away. She was strange. Occasionally she was rude, and at other times she was as sweet as candy. Olivia brushed such thoughts away and straightened up to see if the black sequin dress fit her body just fine.
Even in the past, she used to receive so many comments from the guys and some envious females about her curves. Her perfectly sculpted hourglass body.
Instead of a long face, she had a somewhat round baby face with brown eyes…her eyes weren't brown before, but to make this more authentic, Pedro suggested she wear some eye contact so that it wasn't so obvious. In case, Luciano and the rest recognized me.
“Woah woah…madam is it you?” like every time Zane was the first one to say something flirtatious once I walked downstairs. There was no day Zane missed without making some silly remarks.
“You look good yourself…any special girl?” I said sarcastically, holding my black purse in front of me. Zane chuckled and extended his hand forward, and I took it.
“Nah…I'm single…it's more fun," he said as we walked towards the main entrance door. I guess he was a lady's man. These types of men loved being single. Their excuse was that they weren't ready to be committed to a woman, and the fun part he said was that. He could have as many women as he wanted to warm his bed.
I stayed quiet as we descended the main hallway stairs leading outside. This was my first time stepping outside the mansion since I came here.
I was keen to explore this place, however Pedro said it was necessary and open to getting out. I couldn't see anything apart from the glorious evening lights I always saw from inside.
“Okay so I'm riding alone…see you"just like that, Zane ditched me once we got outside. I managed to walk towards where I spotted a tall man in a dark suit standing leaning against a car. Coming up close, I was stunned to see Pedro in a black tux.
“Ready!” the handsome man with a devilish aura said as he came forward adjusting his coat. Of course, the man had been waiting for quite some time now.
“Yes…”I said, and he just nodded and led me to the car. The driver in white opened the backseat door and Pedro helped me settle in. He, too, joined me and in no time the car drove away from there. One thing I wanted to know was where I was coming from.
“Don't,” Pedro stopped when I was about to roll down the window. Glancing back at him, he had a serious expression. Why was he stopping me from looking outside? The man refused, and I had no choice but to listen.
The ride to where the gathering, after what felt like an hour of driving, came to a stop. I wanted to ask if his mansion was located outside the city, for it to take longer to arrive. Unfortunately, the man shifted his gaze to me and his expression was another friendly one.
“We are here,” he said, and the car windows rolled down on their own. I didn't know what to do, but I tilted my head to look out, and I saw we were at some hotel-looking building. Judging by the red carpet and flashlights at the entrance and well-built men in Black clothes standing outside. I knew this was a big event. Not like it was my first time, but my dad used to attend such parties. Since he was a reputed lawyer. He used to get invited to all the prestigious parties, and he never left his family behind.
“Here…this is for communication…” he said, handing me a Bluetooth device to insert in my ear. It was small and cold feet in my ear without being seen.
“Aren't you coming?”I asked when he didn't look like he was going with me.
“No…I have something to take care of now…this is your first move”
“Okay then,” I said and inserted the Bluetooth. Pedro didn't utter a word but stared at me for a while as if trying to say something.
“Go…I'm sure everything has started” he coaxed just as the door opened. I was hesitant to step out as a strange feeling washed over me. I didn't know if I was ready for this. To meet Luciano, but when I looked up and saw Paula walking down the red carpet accompanied by someone. My blood boiled seeing her smiling.
I stepped out of the car and elegantly fixed my dress. My hair was on point and straightening my back. I made my way towards the entrance, earning a few glances from some random people who started outside.
Back in the car, Pedro's eyes darkened as his driver glanced back at him. The entire time, his driver had been quiet.
“Let's go,” Pedro said as he caressed the gun he was holding, and the car drove away from their

Upon entering the party hall. Olivia was stunned at the decorations. As much as she was no fan of such elegant parties hosted by rich people trying to impress the public. She had to say the atmosphere was vibrant.
The red theme suited everything just the right way, and when she handed the invitation to the door bouncer. She proceeded inside only to be greeted by beautiful scenery. Men and women elegantly dress and walk around, and some are seated and chatting.
She stood by the entrance as her eyes shifted around looking for a familiar face. She didn't mean to make it obvious, but her restless heart to see the man who caused her harm was a necessity. The smiles, the laughing, and enjoying life. She wondered how many people here committed so many atrocities, and we're celebrating as if nothing happened.
“Good evening madam…please proceed,” Olivia snapped back to reality when a waiter appeared in front of her offering her drinks. She didn't hesitate as she took a glass of champagne and proceeded toward the bar area. She saw some women sitting there and chatting as the soft music in the background led them away. Flipping Her hair off her face. Olivia smirked when she spotted a familiar to the left side of the counter, leaning his hand on top. He was talking to two men when she arrived, however, when their eyes met accidentally.
“What else can I get for you?” the waiter asked her when she gulped down the entire champagne and slammed the glass back on the table.
“Don't drink so much” a voice came from inside her ear, startling her only to realize that Pedro was talking to her via Bluetooth.
“Oh please…I can handle a little alcohol” she scoffed, smiling at herself and the waiter waiting for her reply was surprised as he stood there watching the beautiful lady smiling.
“Give me anything, “Olivia said when she noticed that not only the waiter.
“Good evening…you must be Mr. Ramirez's replacement” the man she had been waiting to see for a year appeared before her and said with a charming smile. Olivia stopped in her tracks as she feasted her eyes on Luciano in a blue tux. Anger boiled within her as she stood face to face with him. His hand was extended forward, obviously asking for a handshake.
